About us Meridiana Maintenance opened its doors on March 1st 2010 as a spin-off of Meridiana Airlines’ maintenance business. The company inherited a vast skill-set and the strong commitment to safe aircraft maintenance resulting from over four decades in the sector. As Meridiana Airlines’ maintenance arm, we were the first company in Italy and only the fourth in Europe to be granted JAR 145 certification in the mid-1990s. EASA PART 145 Maintenance Organisation approval followed.
Our historic core competencies in MD80 series laid the foundations from which we extended our capabilities to B717 – the first in Europe – and, at the start of the new millennium, to the A320 family. The launch of Meridiana Maintenance provided the company with a bridge to the future and to opening up to the market to support narrow body fleets operating mainly in the EMEA region. A strong commitment to quality and responsiveness, and superlative cost and productivity control enables us to2 offer our customers a vast array of services at a best-inclass price-quality ratio.
