Zipper is the result of a spontaneous decision four friends made to start a collective in which they could share art they’re passionate about. Through their chosen mediums, the members of Zipper aim to create a platform for artistic expression and uniďŹ cation. We are Zipper Collective.
Im Ethan. Between working, making a food ethnography podcast, and schoolI ďŹ nd some time to take pictures. I enjoy natural light portraits but often ďŹ nd myself dipping into abstract color and shape work.
Hi the names Felix , I am a photographer from a small town in Long Island, NY. Growing up I didn’t have anything to express myself until one day I picked up my father’s camera and began taking pictures of my surroundings and friends. Instantly I fell in love with the idea of capturing moments that occurred in my life. Then I began to put more thought into my shoots whether it would be of my friends or the environment I was in at the moment. I also love taking photos of concerts. Being able to capture the raw energy music artists brings out to their shows makes you feel like you are there experiencing the show for yourself.
Hey, I’m Emma! I’m a New Media artist (wow that sounds professional) from Connecticut! I have what seems like a million different passions including drawing, painting, coding, graphic design, and photography, just to name a few. My life has always revolved around art, whether I had a crayon in my hand or my mac at my fingertips.
But outside of the art world, I love sunowers and lavender, advocating for mental health, pink sunsets, Billie Eilish and Childish Gambino, driving with my friends, going for hikes, my yellow labrador named Buster, traveling the world, and ďŹ nding cool museums I’ve never been to before. However beyond all things, my goal is always to breath life into all art forms by adding my personal touch to any project.
Hi I’m Alec! I am a New Media Artist from Long Island New York. I am inspired by the color yellow, owers, and whatever is playing through my headphones. I also talk about myself in the third person sometimes!
