CRAFT TEXTILES & INTERIOR DESIGN By Zita Gonzรกlez Mexican textiles made of 100% natural wool in Jalisco, Mexico. Woven in pedal loom by the artisan Pedro Romo and the designer Zita Gonzรกlez. The first collaborative work created are interior rugs and flexible walls which divide spaces.

PROCESS OF INKED TEXTILE
1. This is a part of the process when the wool is dyed. Before the wool is placed in the tub, is necessary have a protection, which is a wicker basket.
1. In this photo the wool is placed in the tub to be inked gradually.
1. In this photo the skeins of wool are placed in the tub to be inked gradually and then these are rotated, because the skeins needs to take uniform color.
1. In this photo the inked wool is hanging out of the tub, because the wool has to drain the excess dye.
1. When the wool has been dried is ready to continue with the textile process. 2. The textile is created by the treadle loom.
1. The finished textile with a texture which is sensitive to the touch.
TEXTURES 1. Differents textures with different colors could be woven. 2. Textile with a different texture which is named “a pelo suelto”.
1. Textile which was doing with the “cascada” technique. 2. Textile with grey natuarl wool.
