Truth #KnowTheFacts
- Target audience:
Anyone who smokes cigarettes and might not know the facts about whats inside a cigarette and how bad they are for you. At least 18 years old. Male or female, and anyone who is thinking of quitting.
Big Picture:
Show the many ways that cigarettes are bad for your health. The imagery will be graphic and in your face, or right to the point. Telling facts about the many bad ways cigarettes harms people. We face big tobacco companies and need to show the people what they wont tell them.
What is the purpose of the ad campaign?
For the viewer to be informed visually and with facts about why smoking is bad for you and why you should stop smoking all together. And to encourage viewers to look up the facts on their own time and get involved. Help others learn.

Silopanna Pasta Boxes These custom pasta boxes called Silopanna and it was created for everyone and anyone that wants healthy and organic pasta. No GMO are added to the pasta. The box is meant to pop out and catch the shoppers attention with the fun illustrations on the front. The viewer is also able to see the type of pasta noodle is inside the box with cut out sections to see inside the box. Kids can associate the characters as another way to remember which pasta shell is inside and the hope is that kids see this and then want to eat this brand over the ordinary green and blue boring packaging the other brands use. I want this packaging to stand out. The name is different because Silopanna is Annapolis spelled backwards which is where this product is made and packaged. The color palette is suppose to resemble the Italian flag’s color.

Cannabition Cannabis Museum This is a re-brand project I created for the Cannabition Cannabis Museum. The idea behind the logo was to incorporate something about marijuana but not just the usual pot leaf that is over used. I started with the THC molecule and went from there. You can see what the molecule looks like on one of the stickers I created. I then changed it around to resembled a the letter “C”. I split up the text with a light green color for the word “cannabis” to really get highlight and separate the word from the other text. Cannabis flower usually is a shade of green, but some are other colors but most people when they think of cannabis they think of green, which is actually a slang word people use for marijuana.

Blackfin The goal for Blackfin is to design a trendy, modern logo that reflects the edgy yet simple outline of a fish. It should appeal to seafood lovers that expect a high end dining experience. The audience is someone who expects a great meal, but someone looking for more than the typical dining experience, this place is perfect for date night or any anniversary. The shape of the logo is a modern abstract version of a fish. The fish started out as simple triangles, and after warping the edges to create texture and different angles, this gives the fish character and a different look then a normal outline. The color choices of black and white further demonstrate that this is a more modern and classy restaurant by the sleek look and design. The choice of type including Skia and Trajan Pro are both elegant and modern which gives off a more high end feel to the restaurant. The decision to add a triangle in the name Blackfin itself, brings the whole logo and headline together and shows repetition of the triangles. The logo will be used for print, clothing, and web design, and will also function as the sign for the restaurant itself. The logo is to be printed on the menus, uniforms and dining supplies such as plates, utensils, and napkins. For print design, it will be printed and embroidered on card stock so you can feel the logo and heading when you run your finger over it. This logo is not only eye-catching, but it also generates a nautical feeling. It looks way different and gives off a very elegant and modern feeling to the viewer and after dining here the customer will have an experience like none other. You will be counting down the days till your next visit after dining here. This logo and typography works because it lets the future customer know that this place is more on the higher end scale of dining. Thus letting the audience know that this place will have excellent food and service. Finally, the logo was made with the intent for it to be versatile. This logo also successfully works on digital media also. I designed and created two different web pages. On both the Homepage and “about me page the logo can be used either way but i decided to keep it black on a light background. The challenge of this project was to create a brand identity for Blackfin, a made up high end restaurant. I believe the design goals were achieved successfully. The logo that was produced will be versatile in form and fashion for many uses, the name and tag line reflect important and differential elements of the brand, and the type/ color choices are consistent with the desired mood of the brand to be simple and modern.

Creative Courses This was a logo I created for a non profit organization in Saint Augustine, Fl. This logo was featured on 3 different posters that were for classes so people could learn about the business side of art along with painting classes. They were for all age groups but mostly kids came for the painting class. I decided to use a similar color palette as the company that was hosting these events or classes. The contrast of the bright red also makes the logo pop. In the animation I have a paintbrush falling from the top and hand coming up from the bottom to catch it in the middle. Then it disappears and the outline fades into the screen. Finally the hand and clean paintbrush appears inside the circle and rises up into the middle. Then the paintbrush tilts down and then with a mask I made the paint appear with a drip effect and noise. I have music that goes with the animation in the video and the bass in the song is used when the hand closes and starts to appear. The added drip sound effect adds to the animation and makes it seem more believable.

Salt Nerds Salt Nerd is a Website I designed. I got the products from a real on-line shop on Etsy. I decided to re-brand the logo for the website and changed the color palette. The Website is a sliding scroller page with lines that can take you to her Etsy shop to purchase her goods and products

MoJo’s Pizzeria I created a pizza store called Mojos Pizzeria. It is not a real place, but that gave me more freedom to come up with my own logo. I wanted the logo to be fun and easy to read what it is and also what the store sells. A pizza takes the place of the first “o” in the logo and the missing slice is what makes up the apostrophe mark. I thought this was a fun way to add style to the logo and have a different name then most pizza places. Mojo’s Pizzeria has been perfecting the perfect pizza since 1985. Our focus has always been on using high quality ingredients and combining them with our traditional pizza technique. Next time you are craving a slice of goodness, call us, and put our pizza to the test!
