Zehra Gezer Whitemeadow Furniture Limited Orchard Way, Calladine Business Park, Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire NG17 1JU Dear Zehra Gezer (Head of marketingzoeleigh_fcp at Whitemeadow) I am Zoe Brice, 19 years of age and about to go into my final year studying Fashion communication and @ zoeleighcreative@hotmail.com promotion at Nottingham Trent University, writing to you with an interest in completing work experience with you. This course has allowed me to explore all areas of fashion communication, allowing me to find my strengths and passions.W This www.zoeleighblog.wordpress.com then enabled me to create my self promotion, focusing upon the areas of content creation, social media and communication. These are the skills i would love to apply to Whitemeadow. By having a job since i was 14, I have over 5 years of experience in customer service and front of house, building my confidence with public speaking and being able to adapt to unexpected situations. I have worked for Oakwood advertising agency assisting to complete briefs from Mattel and Fisher price, this work experience really placed the roots for my future career direction. As a very self motivated individual, I peruse any opportunity to help build up my skill base and put myself outside of my comfort zone. In turn, I have worked along side the artist Bruce Asbestos for the last 3 months, creating content and social media strategies to boost the promotion of his catwalk. This project was huge success in the increase of social media following and likes. Global entrepreneurship week was another opportunity to get involved, in the creation of a fully integrated marketing campaign. I worked on producing content for NTU arts social platforms, through instagram stories, hash-tags and tweets. By volunteering for both these projects, I got to work with brand new people, create contacts, complete briefs and it helped with time management as I was doing this alongside my course, All of the above has helped shaped me, my skills and my future aims and aspirations. After attending the ‘Leap’ Creative Expo held at Nottingham Trent University, I was made aware of yourself and Whitemeadow Furniture Limited. Instantly I was drawn to the beautiful visuals across your website and social platforms. As Whitemeadow is the “most trusted and well respected upholstery manufacturers in Britain” it would be a privilege to be able to complete work experience within this company. After speaking at Leap, I know there is plans for the marketing team to expand over the next few years, a perfect opportunity for me.
