Design Generator

With the amazing view sitting along the canal, the multifunctional space is located on the first floor, connecting the entrance to the Carrington street level. Within this open space, orientation was experimented to get the best view with the connection with the ground level.

This was inspired by the site surroudings. This is to present the idea of each part can be seen as individual, but still connected throughout the time. The model exploration of forms were trying to connect each spatial layout. The transition from interior to exterior, from dark to bright, from private to public, from individual to group, from tradition to contemporary.

Model making demonstrates how light entre the space.

Perforated Bricks To meet the need for the main target, homeless people, the design has started to aim at a tougher facade. This is to ensure their sense of security when entering the building. Connection was also trying to be achieved in the design, to bring out translucent feeling. That visibility changes from various angle, switch between opaque and transparent facade.
