写在开头的一些感悟 大学二年级感觉像是人生中巨大改变的一年。毅然决然的选 择转学，来到纽约这个光鲜亮丽的大城市，虽然明白这巨大 的迁徙会给我生活带来很多改变，但是我还是下定了决心决 定让自己再多遇到些磨炼。这一年经历了许多挫折，遇到了 许多人，被环境所迫的去改变自己的生活方式，面对孤独却 又尝试着努力面对。生活和学业可能每次都濒临把我打败， 但是辛苦的日子必将克服，回头看看这一年来的辛苦努力的 成果，感觉之前经历的奋斗是值得的。
我一直喜欢尝试新鲜的事物，认为设计其实不单单只是设计 这个词本身。身边的任何事物，任何艺术都与设计有关。所 以在我的作品里，可能不单单是电脑上做的设计作品这么单 一。结合一些纯艺术类的元素：包括画画，摄影，影片...有 些时候这些艺术会启发我设计的灵感，或者直接成为我设计 作品里的一部分。

PREFACE Sophomore year might be the most challenging year for me in my entire life. Transferring from Baltimore to New York City was a tough decision for me to make. Although I understood that transferring would cause troubles and circumstances i could never have imagined, I felt like I should be a risk-taker and challenge myself more as an international student. There is no doubt that I have had many setbacks this year, but I was able to change my life style and successfully overcome the struggle of the feeling of loneliness and as the result, adapted to the new enviroment. Every time when school work and life forced me to the edge, I pushed myself to work harder, try harder, and kept trying till the last second. Finally, here I am, feeling glad that i was able to achieve so many goals and done so many things, I can proudly tell myself that all the efforts i put forth this year are so worthy. I really like to experiment with different type of art, not only with design. I feel like everything around me could inspire me for my design career such as drawing, photography, video shooting...Of course, all of them could become design master pieces by themselves.

EXPERIMENTAL ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE DRAWING

In this project, I transferred a landscape into an abstract drawing. By using different techniques of drawing one single scene such as: left hand drawing; only shadow; only geometric shapes; only lines and dots; quick drawing in 10 seconds... etc. I overlay them together, fill in the shapes and put some textures in. This is how I create this piece.

INTERACTIVE VIDEO
Imagine that you are hiding in somewhere dark, trying to play some tricks on someone. In the installation room, the audience could only reach the video by snooping into a hole. There would be some sound and distance sencer around. everytime the audience make some move or sound, the people in the video would react differently and try to “find� the audience. Try not to be caught!
