INTRODUCTION One of my first projects was a mirror that was placed between the trees. When you just pass by, maybe you don’t even notice it. But as the sun shines on its surface, first you get a bit confused, then you will be curious and amazed. I also like to describe myself as this mirror, which collects and reflects the environment in a unique way, shows the details that maybe no one notices.

This project is located in a very interesting place, in an abandoned limestone quarry. The area is naturally rich in thermal water sources, from here comes my proposal to design a thermal bath. The main design principal was to place everything under the terrain and to show as little as possible on the surface, because what matters is underground. So when we arrive to the plot we will first see just an elevator, as we are getting closer we will find a hole on the ground and the stairs that lead us down to the entrance atrium. Besides the reception and the staircase, this atrium also contains an extra outside pool. I was working on this project for two semesters, so I had the time to design every piece from the details of the glass structure and the pools to the filtration of the underground areas. I learned how the other disciplines can suit to the basic concept and how they can shape it.

The built elements are vertically separated to two levels: the upper floor contains the main guest areas: pools, resting areas and the cafeteria, the lower floor consists of the serving spaces, such as dressing rooms, workers’ rooms, machinery and the therapy section.

My diploma project is located in a special place for me, in a small village near Lake Balaton. When I was a child I spent all my summers here, so when I started to think about the location this was the first place that came to my mind. This lake means the same to most humgarian people: spending the day on the lake shore, eating and going everywhere with bicycle. The main idea of the plan is creating a garden, which is a place for rest and relaxation for everyone, but also can be used for different events of the village, such as markets, local fests, exhibitions, lectures, etc... The border of the garden is a stone wall, which is commonly used in this area, and the buildings are part of this wall.

Professional Project OTO Arquitectos LOCATION: Carvoeiro, Algarve, Portugal YEAR: 2019-2021 TEAM: André Castro Santos, Nuno Teixeira Martins, Francisco Xavier Oliveira, Inês Campina This project is located in the south part of Portugal, near the Atlantic Ocean. It will operate as an apartement house, which can serve for team building, or for vacation. I started to work on this project at the concept phase and I continued through the execution. In the beginning my tasks were to work on the layout of the suits, to prepare the plans for the presentation, and to make renders. Then in the execution phase I was working on the window consignation and then with another collegue we were responsible to accompany the execution work, to verify and correct the projects of the other collaborators, to keep in touch with the constructors, answer their questions and find solutions for the problems that arise. This was the first project where I was really involved in the execution works. Because of the language difficulties it was quite challenging in the beginning but when I really needed to I was evolving faster than I imagined.

I learned to work in BIM until the execution, make renders in Twinmotion, how to communicate with other collaborators, what to check when I have to verify their projects, and to manage a project with the executors.

Professional Project OTO Arquitectos LOCATION: Lisbon, Portugal YEAR: 2018-2020 TEAM: André Castro Santos, Nuno Teixeira Martins, Luís Peres Pinto, Ines Campina, Luís Carlos Bucha I started to work on this project in the licensing phase and then I continued until we finished the execution project. During this time it was necessary to make various modifications, because the main function have changed, from a student residence to a nursing home for people with disabilities. As a result, we had to adjust our design to many different regulations. During the project I had various tasks, I was working on some adjustments in the addition part in the back of the building, I prepared the window consignation, made the sections, I was responsible for the coordination and verification of the projects of the other engineers. We were also designing the interior, I studied different solutions for the doors and the floor covering, I made the design of the glass ceiling on the second, third and fourth floor.
