motivation letter
Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to apply for a job of intern. I finished the textile design master class this year. I spent five years at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and I learnt a lot about materials, technology and techniques, but the main gain is we could find our own designing method. I have got the Rector’s Award in recognision of the outstanding graduation work. I like mixing the knowledge of different disciplines. As you can see, I have experiences as intern from different fields (millinery, fashion design, shoemaking), and I would like to continue learning in this way. It is very useful to improve my communication and organising skills and to work in team also. I have continuously been trying to find new ways and possible solutions of learning and working. I would like to work as intern for your company because I think that this is the place where I can improve myself and get a real professional experience. Szövési kísérletek szabadon választott anyaghasználattal. A sorozat darabjai, a fűzésből adódó variációk lehetőségeit mutatják meg a rendszer és a káosz fogalmán keresztül. A befűzés ritmusa deformálja a hordozót és alakítja a felületet.
Weaving experiments with free material choice. Experimental woven structures with the use of wooden sticks and glass fiber. The rhythm of threading the sticks deforms the carrier and shapes the structure. The pieces of the series show the range of possibilities resulting from threading through the concept of system and chaos.

Kiegészítő kollekció tervezése magyar, tradicionális inspiráció alaján. A kollekció, a csikóbőrös kulacs sziromszerű, ívelt bevágásokkal és rétegződéssel készült díszítésén alapul. A technika új funkciókkal rendelkezik: a díszítés mellett, varrást helyettesítő, és formaalakító szerepet kap.
The inspiration was a Hungarian leather folk art technique. The Hungarian shepherds had horsehide gourds embellished with layered leather decoration. I was looking for new possibilities in the technique. It was used in two different ways. The small elements are good for fixing the layers to each other and it can be used as shaping the perforation as well.

Aprómintás szövöttanyag kollekció határozott csíkritmussal. A különböző típusú mintaképzési technikák mellett, színkeverési kísérletek egyaránt megfigyelhetőek a kollekció darabjain.
Woven textile collection inspired by autumn impressions. The collection contains calm pieces and stronger stripe rhythms. They are reflecting to the changing and unproductiveness of this season.

Asztalterítő kollekció tervezése a Castro Bistro részére. A kollekciót a kávézó előtt található boltív díszítése inspirálta, mely a Madách tér meghatározó eleme. Mintázatának terítőn való megjelenítése érzékeny kapcsolatot teremt a külső és a belső tér között.
Design of a tablecloth collection for Castro Bistro. As an inspiration I used the carved pattern of the arch in front of the bistro, which is one of the identifying characteristics of Madách Square. Showing this pattern on the tablecloth creates a connection between outer and inner space.

Textile pattern collection based on Heimtextil trend themes 2016/2017. Triangular pattern focused on simplicity, complexity and geometrical system. Designs for digital print and 24 shafted digitally controlled weaving machine.

A frankfurti Heimtextil vásár Campus kiállításának egyetemi standjára készült struktúra. Célja 2016/17-es lakástextil trend témáiba illő felület létrehozása. Fő szempont: az anyagminőség, az aprólékosság, az exkluzivitás. Cél a fémes, geometrikus felületek találkozásának megjelenítése. A sorolás eredménye egy olyan elemrendszer, melynek két oldala különböző karakterű.
This structure was made for the Campus university exposition of Heimtextil trade fair in Frankfurt. Its aim was to create a surface matching the home textile trends of 2016/17. ‘Enrich’ is quality, exclusivity and meticulousness. It means geometry and dark, metallic materials for me. The repetitiveness of the small elements result the thick surface. The structure has two very different, characteristic faces.

A projekt célja: egy szabadon választott anyag karakterének megváltoztatása. A tyúkláb minta végletekig való torzítása szálkihúzással történt. Ez a manipulációs technika alkalmas volt az eredeti karakter megszüntetésére. Az áttört anyagok mellett különböző csíkritmusok jellemzik a végleges darabokat.
The aim of this project was to change the characteristics of an optional material. The extreme deformation of the houndstooth pattern was made by pulling out the thread. The manipulative structure was suitable to alter the original character. Beside the perforated materials, different stripe rhythms are characteristic of these extreme pieces.

Vízlepergető felületek technikai és anyaghasználati megkötések nélkül. A felületek szerkezetükből adódóan variálhatóak és alakíthatóak. A kétrétegű anyag egy flexibilis, lágyan strukturált felületből és háromszögletű elemekből áll, melyek biztosítják a térbeli formázást és lehetőséget adnak mintázat létrehozására is.
Experimental impregnated material series without technical and material choice limitations. These surfaces can be varied and formed due to their structures. The triangular foils are attached with thin glue layer. The soft junction and the small repeating elements provide a flexible, geometrical patterned material.

Kísérleti jellegű projekt, melyben a könyvkötés területéről ismert technológiai megoldások ötvöződnek textíliákkal. Koncentrálva a struktúraképzésre az anyagtársítás új tulajdonságú felületet eredményezett, ahol a fűzési eljárás sűrű, hullámzó színoldali felületet képez, míg a hátoldal magában hordozza a könyvek gerincéhez hasonlatos karaktert. A kísérleti darabokra nagyfokú rugalmasság jellemző, mely tulajdonsága szerves része lehet a későbbi fejlesztési folyamatoknak. Experimental project which combines my knowledge from different fields. The art of bookbinding has special stitching techniques. The binding was combined binding with soft textiles redound a tactile, organic surface. Non-flexible lace and woven textile base was used, but the resultis an extremely elastic structure because of the binding technique. It is a double faced material.

Az öltözékkollekció a gömöri csomóshímzés alternatív felhasználására épül. A hímzés díszítés, mely nemcsak mintázat a hordozó alapanyag felületein, hanem az anyag karakterét is befolyásoló fonalrendszer. A tradicionális öltéstípus alkalmas struktúraképzésre, felületalkotásra és formaalakításra egyaránt. Míg a csomók a színoldalon plasztikus felületet képeznek, addig a fonák oldalon az „ulv i fåreklær”, azaz „báránybőrbe bújt farkas” felirat rajzolódik ki, utalva az öltés karakteralkotó lehetőségeire. Az öltözékekhez használt szálak típusa öltözékekként változik, fokozva a felületek taktilis gazdagságát.

Structure design based on traditional Hungarian stitching. The Gömör knot embroidery is a traditional stitch type, which which can be used for decoration purposes and for creating the surface and forming the shape as well. The embroidery as a decoration is not just a pattern on the surface of the carrier, but also a yarn system that influences the characteristics of the material. The knotted surface of the face makes on the back side the ‘ulv i fåreklær’ Norwegian label that means ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’. This experimental typography is the essence of the project: the stitching was designed to show the ability of character and structure creation. The quality of the stitches are different for all clothes, enhancing the tactile richness of the surfaces.
