For all the physical focus of the Olympic Games, its true spirit is about community, a rare celebration of diversity and differences. We traveled to the former Olympic Games sites of Barcelona, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Seoul to seek inspiration in local art, architecture, and more, with the goal of creating a collection that showcased the best-of-the-best in fabric and technology. MERINO WOOL CAPSULE

The most natural, functional fibers on our planet grow without external influences all year round. Merino Wool is the product of water, air, and grass and if you compost it, it will biologically degrade — disappearing completely into the ground. Easy to clean, no itching, and strong enough to not tear, Merino Wool is a functional miracle best supported by its “inner values.” The downside is that Merino Wool has been associated with poor production processes. Mulesing is a method that eliminates the problem associated with the Australian Blowfly, but also a method that inflicts pain on the sheep. BUFF® strongly dissociates from this method and makes sure all of our wool purchases are from suppliers that do not use this process.
