PURE TOUR CLASSIC Off-piste, on-piste or both – you go skiing sometimes here, sometimes there. You just want to get out, be on the slopes in nature, enjoy the snowy winter landscape, but above all, spend a nice time in the mountains. For this series we have combined the requirements of a classic touring ski with the essentials from our high-end range. The result is the PURE models with a clear view of the details such as wood cores and carbon inserts. Perfect for your enjoyable ascent – and above all for your enjoyable descent.
BOOST TOUR FREERIDE
ULTRA TOUR PROFESSIONAL
Do your usual skiing pursuits include first-lines, powder and high-angle surfing? Then you are in the right place with the BOOST series. Why is a BOOST series ski the right choice for your high-speed long turns? They are light enough for long trips, with a waist width of up to 99 mm, but are by no means oversized. The tip rocker of up to 410 mm means these offpiste rockets float nicely near the surface.
The ULTRA series combines all our know-how. Through intensive field testing, we have perfected the ultimate combination of materials, shapes and construction to meet our extremely high technical and performance standards. For athletes, mountaineers and racers, all of whom have one demand in common: confidence – in equipment that offers uncompromising performance, at the absolute minimum weight, for their next tour.
CORE TOUR ALLMOUNTAIN
OFFTRACE TOUR SPECIAL
Whether it's a regular ski tour, a multi-day hut-to-hut tour or ambitious summit conquering – with each tour you seek a different goal. For varying turns in varying snow conditions, the CORE models are all-rounders aimed at athletic (and frequent) tourers and downhillers who head to the mountains in any conditions.
Developed and designed for special requirements and extra ordinary undertakings, the two models in this series accompany every “dream in white.” The 130 cm long OFFLIMITS was developed together with the blind climber Andy Holzer. The ski is extremely agile and fun.It is not just a workman’s tool in the ascent to your ice climbing spot or while snow kiting. In the case of the OFFTRACE, the name says it all: it is perfect for extended ski hikes through wide plains and hilly forests.

3D-CAP To save weight while maintaining torsional stability, we developed a new 3D cap. A strengthening “rib” widens as it travels towards the tip and tail while it gradually tapers to an exceptionally thin profile. This unique construction greatly reduces mass while creating progressive flex. Lower material usage = lower weight. The vertical ABS sidewall mid-ski ensures perfect power transmission. Starting with the 19/20 collection, our models from the CORE, BOOST and ULTRA 82 series are built with this 3D cap system.

BINDING MOUNTING AREA REINFORCEMENT The binding mounting areas are reinforced with materials such as carbon fiber, titanal and fiberglass to ensure optimal strength and power transmission from the binding to the ski edge.

Titanal ROCKER The rocker describes the early rise of the shovel and tail. All HAGAN models are equipped with a tip rocker and most with tail rocker. The rocker lengths and heights create a variable edge length that is targeted for the best possible performance in particular applications. We distinguish three rocker types:

CARBON REINFORCED Carbon stringers inlayed in the ski core provide additional stability while saving weight. RACE ROCKER Tip: 200-250 mm Tail: 0 mm

WOOD CORES Throughout the rapid advancement of technology and materials engineering in ski construction, we have remained faithful to high-quality, natural wood. All skis in our 19 / 20 collection are built with wood cores. We use two types of wood: paulownia and poplar. ·· Paulownia is one of the lightest woods in the world. The long-fiber structure makes it extremely resilient and excellent for light weight construction where the priority is weight reduction with high stability. Paulownia is used in the BOOST, CORE and ULTRA series. ·· Poplar wood is very strong and therefore a popular raw material in ski production. Due to the rapid growth of poplar trees, the high-quality wood is readily available and economical. Poplar is used in the PURE series.
ABS-SIDEWALLS High-quality ABS sidewalls enable optimum stability and power transmission to the ski edges. Impact shocks at the steel edge are significantly dampened and cushioned: ·· Full Sidewall: Sidewall runs the entire length of the ski. ·· Semi Sidewall: Sidewall in the binding area, for weight reduction with consistent stability and power transmission. ·· Micro Sidewall: extra thin sidewall in the binding area, making it ideal for lightweight construction.
SKIN LOCK Quick Tour: The simplest and easiest climbing skin attachment system with a notch on tip and hook on the tail. The Quick Tour system enables skin removal without removing the ski. Quick Race: The tip notch is Y shaped to make attachment and release of the tip bungee even faster! Tail Lock: The climbing skin is secured to the tail by a locking clamp and to the tip by a clip.
3 YEAR STANDARD WARRANTY – 5 YEARS WITH REGISTRATION FOR ALL HAGAN SKIS* FROM THE 19 / 20 COLLECTION For 95 years we have directed all our enthusiasm for the mountains into the development of our products. Quality for us means that the products we ourselves use pass intensive practical tests and meet our high standards. This is one of our main principles and we are only satisfied when we are confident all tour skiers can completely rely on our high-quality, longlasting equipment. We now want to expand our guarantee to highlight our promise of quality. From the winter of 2019 onwards we will grant a guarantee of 3 years for all skis*. The warranty can be extended to 5 years by registering on www.hagan-ski.com/warranty Proof of purchase is necessary for the registration. The warranty applies only to material and production defects. The extra-wide Power Strap distributes the force on the cuff over a very large area. Switching from ascent to downhill is done by simply closing the buckle. Due to the scale on the power strap, the preferred position can be found quickly and easily. This enables a stable and comfortable preset requiring no adjustment between ascent and descent. The use of just one buckle at the cuff not only saves a considerable amount of weight but also reduces handling to a minimum for quick and easy switching to downhill mode, leaving more time to enjoy summit panoramas.
HEEL LOW CUT The high cut out at the heel area of the upper shell (under the Ski-Walk mechanism) enables even higher cuff rotation than our previous model. This innovation achieves maximum freedom of movement (65% range of motion!) even with long strides.
3D CABLE LOCK SYSTEM Forefoot control is provided by a very simple and effective single buckle system. One cable is fixed at three points – from the big toe over the lower buckle to the inside of the ankle. This distributes pressure on the forefoot evenly and comfortably.
STANDARD HEEL LUGS HAGAN ski touring boots incorporate the latest developments in the binding market. The heel is 100% compatible with the Marker Kingpin binding. We use original Dynafit inserts.

M-GRIP-SOLE Safety is the first priority when it comes to grip on a variety of surface conditions. The M-profile lugs are arranged to provide outstanding traction in all directions. The rubber compound provides exceptional traction on hard surfaces while maintaining strong resistance to wear.
The two-piece tongue creates smoothly progressive flex. The softer upper tongue flexes freely in ascent for natural freedom of movement. When the upper cuff is tightened for descents, force is transmitted down through the softer upper tongue to the stiffer lower tongue. The result is smoothly stiffening flex, ensuring perfect control on descents.
ANATOMIC ZONE The new shell has zones in the forefoot area which can be reshaped by the use of hot air to create perfect fit. In particular, the area around the ball of the foot can be reshaped to eliminate pressure points and blister-prone areas.
