With a new board I have to do my sticker job and put all of my sponsors on there: Rip Curl, Drake and Northwave, Dakine , Buff, Blue Tomato St Lary Alti service. I always stick my “a branler crew” sticker and as well. Then I screw my bindings. I stick everything on and then I use a knife to take away the parts that stick out of the board. Then I warm up the stickers with a lighter to glue them down properly and I’m good to go and shred the sh*t out of it !!!
1. Detune Edges Every time I have a brand new board, I detune the edges on the nose and tail, it helps to have a better board control. As well when I do jibs I like to detune a little bit my edges so I can feel more confident and am sure I won’t catch my edge on a rail !!!
About Victor I’m a french snowboarder from the pyrenees, born in Bayonne and I live in St Lary since my early years. My parents own a Intersport in front of the Gondola of the resort. I am the youngest and have 3 brothers and a sisters, they all snowboard. I first started skiing at the ski-club and then at age of 6 or 7 I started boarding just because I wanted to imitate my elders. I spent many years shreding the snowpark of St Lary, then I did a bit of boarder cross in a national level and then I had to choose between Freestyle and BDX. As I stated in my briefing on the lacing system, the boots have many great technicalities. Being low profile, supportive while allowing the appropriate flex and visually well designed makes them the best candidate for your snowboarding footwear. I don’t want to give you false hype or use scientific jargon, so let it suffice to say that these are the boots you need, and want.
I adjust the base plate to get my feet on the right spot on the board. I want to have my feet right at the top of the both edges so I can put a lot pressure quickly when I’m riding. Everyone has to find the right spot, you should try to play with the heel cap and you will feel the difference.
3. Adjusting Baseplate
I like riding fast and hit everything in front of me. While doing that I want to be able to put lot of weight on top of my edges and for this I need to adjust my hiback to have a bit of forward lean. it really helps me to ride more precisely on kickers, powder and pipe. All the pipe riders do that, that’s probably why I kept on doing it….everything reacts faster.
3. Riding Style
My riding is very aggressive. This summed up with the amount of days I spend in my boots and bindings is an equation for faulty, non-reliable products. I do not want to undermine other brands and what they are soliciting on the shelves next to Northwave and Drake, but I would not even draw my gaze, let alone step my foot into any other boot and binding producer.

But don’t be deceived, my last name holds only a generation removed from Sicily so I’d like to consider myself a bit more Italian than the random European descendant. All this to say, riding for Northwave Drake is in my bones. What else is apart of my family heritage is the love for the mountains. I grew up riding in Lake Tahoe, CA and now reside in Seattle, WA with my wife Laura Visconti. As I and my career have matured, my devotion and need for the mountain and outdoor adventure has as well increased. In the earlier stages of my snowboarding career, rails and freestyle was all I cared about, but as I age snowboarding for the simple sake of snowboarding is starting to take control. I love to jib, jump and ride powder for sure, but honestly I just like to ride my snowboard.

Garbage was founded in June 2004 in Milan, by a group of friends with the same passion for snowboarding (Devid De Palma, Marco Morandi, Alessandro Redaelli, Jacopo Lazzari). Our goal from the start has always been to take the street lifestyle culture into snowboarding and be active through our videos, blog and media channels. Over the years, Garbage has expanded also outside of snowboarding. Other guys joined the family and after ten years our history is made up of about 300 videos of snowboarding, skateboarding and music as well as a solid homepage that has thousands of followers. This year we got the chance to celebrate our 10 year anniversary of Garbage with a signature Binding in collaboration with Drake. We are really stoked about it. Federico Iovanovich, our good friend worked on the graphics to create a basic but at the same really attractive illustration to celebrate our decade in the business. We are really blessed and thankful to partner up with Drake on this collaboration and there is nothing cooler then riding your collaboration binding everyday. Stay Gold! Garbage is an italian crew, but thanks to dvp you are working tight with videograss, how did everything start? an italian crew working with an american one. Everything began five years ago, when we sent them our videos and surprisingly they released them straight

away on the VG site. While they were in Europe premiering “bon vojage” they asked us to organize a stop in Milan. After five years we finally managed to have a joint premiere together in Milan: we screened “the last ones” and “Shadows” together. What a great night, lots of people joined us to celebrate our latest movies. After this great event Justin Meyer (VG Producer) and I decided to make this partneship stronger and for next year VG will be media parter of Different Vision Production. This will ensure way more exposure to our videos and lot of new possibilities.

Nowadays people forget about style in general. Looking at your apparel collection, your riders and your new Drake collab binding it seems that you guys take a lot of care into style, why? You know snowboarding is about style. We ‘re quite small, but since day one, we tried to do our best in everything we made. We’re really stoked about the collab with Drake, we worked hard to create these bindings. It’s a dream come true to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with it. At the end of the day how important is snowboarding for you? Snowboarding means everything to us: we can’t live without snowboarding. it’s an addiction, it ‘s our life. GG4LIFE

It was founded three years ago by Alvaro Vogel and his friends Nicholas Wolken and Lisa Filzmoser. After three years of hard work the crew has grown a lot, in form of new riders, more filmers, better equipment and higher quality videos. The Company has been working, travelling and making a name for itself all around the world: Italy, Japan, USA, Canada, Alaska, France, Germany, Norway… Along the way the crew has met a lot of good riders and interesting people which helped to open their minds and push frontiers. Truecolorfilms has developed to be a reference point in the freeriding industry, because of its unique approach to filming and riding surf style in the backcountry The current collaboration with Northwave is taking True Color to a total new level. Northwave is giving us the opportunity to build the right stick for our type of riding: a board with the name Guerrilla. This surf inspired board is made to shred the whole mountain in any snow condition. It is our dream come true.
Describe the brand and its values: IUTER is a 100% Made in Italy streetwear brand started in 2002 by a group of guys with a sound boardsports, graffiti and music background. Over the years the IUTER style has evolved and its know-how expanded; it’s advanced from an essentially D.I.Y. approach to become a serious brand that makes all its products exclusively in Italy in close contact with some of the top textile and accessories companies. How do you organize production and on what do you focus? Extensive research and experimentation in collaboration with the best Italian and international suppliers has enabled IUTER to expand production. We can now make an even larger and more varied collection but have retained the ironic, irreverent street style; although the style continues to evolve our products

still remain faithful to our roots. The IUTER brand is recognized and distributed worldwide, and people love the creativity of its designs and the quality of the apparel, which has been designed and made in Italy since 2002. How have you moved forward with the boots’ graphics? The boots’ graphic designs echo our “Hunter” pattern which will be the core pattern for the Fall/Winter 2014 collection. The theme for the collection is “AUGMENTED REALITY”: a mental journey that revolves around the idea that reality is not how we see it but how our senses let us perceive it. It’s an invitation to venture beyond first appearances and try to see things from another perspective. From here UV prints and materials create a host of patterns and graphics with optical illusions, sci-fi textures, topographic visions and special effects.

Now you have to give the impulse with your shoulders, do not to give the rotation too early, it has to be a constant impulse trough the transition of the kicker till you take off, otherwise you might come to short or you will over rotate.
You are spinning now and grabbing, keep looking in the direction of the spin.

BOARD HIGHLIGHTS Microcamber Thanks to microcamber focused between the bindings area you have a perfect control and a great pop. With additional rocker outside each foot to lift up the tip and tail in order to make the board really playful. This board is forgiving in landings, awesome in jibbing and at the same time reactive and responsive.
Blunt shape This particular shape improves overall control of the board by keeping the full contact length, but shrinking the actual board size. The shape comes with a straight cut on the tip and tail areas, which makes the board shorter than a regular board. This reduces weight and improves rotation. The end result is a lightweight, playful board, ideal for freestyle maneuvers but great in all other types of terrain.
Detuned edges Carbon rods
Detuned edges on tip and tail prevents the snowboard from catching edges, and gives an extra buttery feeling while riding. If you’re going to hit boxes, rails, or walls, this is the perfect feature for you.
A single centered carbon strip positioned from tip to tail covering the entire length of the board, offering a symmetrical power transmission and a powerful pop without tampering the torsional stiffness of the board. In other words: more flex, pop and reactivity to your ride.

Brand-new hybrid camber to have the perfect mix of pop and forgiveness. Have your cake and eat it too! Thanks to microcamber focused between the bindings area you have a perfect control and a great pop. With additional rocker outside each foot to lift up the tip and tail in order to make the board really playful. This board is forgiving in landings, awesome in jibbing and at the same time reactive and responsive.

They can do this operation in a perfect way thanks to the fact that the webbing is passing through a hole from the side of the boot directing the pressure of closure all over the ankle area. The more the lace is pulled the more power will be transferred in the ankle area, increasing the heel retention performance and foot stability.
