BEHIND THE Builds We started Wired with the purpose of creating better, more innovative boards. Those that weren’t just made to order, but were made to order right here in Vancouver. Plus, we wanted more – no, full – control over both the creativity and the quality that went into making them. And the only way to ensure that was by investing in our own factory from the start. So that’s exactly what we did.

BEHIND THE DESIGN When starting Wired, we set out to do something different. We wanted to play around and explore new graphic chose for our 4th season’s line up.
SEASON 04
To create each look, we used acrylic paint on white canvas, with techniques like dirty and swirl pouring to get a unique result every time (yes – we had to do a lot of these to get four perfect designs). After the paintings dried, we scanned scanned them again in high resolution before starting the treatment process and getting them ready for production. From concept to market, it’s taken over 6 months to get our 2021 line complete. And worth every minute. Introducing the Wired Season 4 lineup. グラフィックの方向性を決めるにも40以上に渡る様々なパターンを試し、ブランド4シーズン目のグラフィックとして辿り着いたのが このラインナップです。 白いキャンバスにアクリルペイントを使って描かれており、汚しやハネ、ドリップの等のテクニックを使って仕上げました。 それをスキャンし、各ボードに使いたい部分を切り抜いて、製品のグラフィックに使えるように手直しを行います。 2021ラインのコンセプトの立案から、実際に製品化されるまで実に6か月以上の時間を要しました。 そしてこのように4シーズン目を迎えたWIREDのコレクションをご案内できた時、全ての時間が報われます。

Custom Sidewalls We have been playing around with custom sidewalls for a few years. We love how we can match the sidewall to the top sheet graphic.
JACKSON Mike Jackson came to Wired and wanted to do a run of Jackson Snowboards. Of course, we said yes.
Designer When you have a designer come to you with their ideas. Wow, this came out good.
We make a lot of custom boards every year. It’s always fun to see how creative people can be. When you have a designer that wants a board I know it’s going to be something special. This is by far our favorite part of owning a factory. Making a board for people is incredibly rewarding. Thanks to everyone who purchased an inline or custom snowboard.
Woody We get asked to build boards with wood veneers from time to time. We love how this one turned out.
TREK SERIES The customer wanted moss for the top artwork. The colors of this one turned out cool.
Slayer This board was a raffle for FNRad podcats. Slayer for life.
Shorty’s We got asked to mash a shorty’s graphic with Wired’s logo. We love this one.

Designer When you have a designer come to you with their ideas. Wow, this came out good.
We make a lot of custom boards every year. It’s always fun to see how creative people can be. When you have a designer that wants a board I know it’s going to be something special. This is by far our favorite part of owning a factory. Making a board for people is incredibly rewarding. Thanks to everyone who purchased an inline or custom snowboard.
Woody We get asked to build boards with wood veneers from time to time. We love how this one turned out.
TREK SERIES The customer wanted moss for the top artwork. The colors of this one turned out cool.
Slayer This board was a raffle for FNRad podcats. Slayer for life.
Shorty’s We got asked to mash a shorty’s graphic with Wired’s logo. We love this one.
Tribute A customer wanted to pay tribute to their dog that recently passed. We love making these boards.
Carbon We had three customers that wanted real full carbon top sheets. This was a lot of work to get right. They turned out beautiful.
Rabbit Another custom with a graphic designer. This one is a fun rabbit.
Beaver Wax BeaverWax wanted to do a very limited run of boards. This one is amazing.
Designer We love black boards with limited designs on them. This one came out looking sharp.
Society Snow We do shop boards all the time. We love how the art looks on this board. The detail.
Nude We do a lot of branded boards. Nude wanted their cans all over the board. We like how this one turned out.
FnRAD Erik wanted to put his favorite Mike V. skate graphic on a snowboard. This one was a fun project.
