Conception of “Eco-Boat”
for pleasure and holidays The project concept consists in working out of a water vehicle, on alternative energy sources, for pleasure and rest for 5 or 8 persons onboard. Special of the project is development of “solar sail” which is made of a synthetic fibers and flexible solar batteries.
solar sail Thanks to a unique and multifunctional construction of a sail, probably to have it as vertically position , at motion, and also it is horizontal, at parking, for the maximum extraction of solar energy. Thus, the sail has two functions: a driving element of water vehicle and the source of power.
Energy systen By the ship the power system presented: the Sail-Battery-Motor, or the Sail-Motor. This function is controlled by the onboard computer.
on-board control system The computer system of the ship allows the nonprofessional to operate the sailing yacht without problems. The system works independently and in case of route change, can itself will offer a route for comfortable rest and the maximum use of “solar sail”. The computer is connected to system of information communication: the Internet, GPRS and others.

reservation
“Carsharing” / “Shipsharing” The user can book this water vehicle in appointed day with the Internet or with other communication systems. The similar system already exists in ground transport, namely «Carsharing». On web-page it is possible to note at once a travel route, to pay and order inner design of the ship. Last point allows using the sailing yacht not only for family vacation but as for seminars or for business parties that gives the chance to widen a social group of consumers. In appointed day the ship will be prepared properly to the order. The user should come only with a client card for activate of the ship; it is similar to system “Carsharing”. Then the trip realize to the program in which the route is of travel and calculation of power’s consumption for the given travel. On the endings of a way it is necessary for user to moor water vehicle to a dock, and to block it with a card or phone, thereby it informs system on the end of trip.
