PREFACE
AFFORDANCE PAST
Affordance is a strong architectural language which means that the form and appearance of buildings conform to the order of human behavior. As the gradually mature technology and the rapid change of people's pace of life, people's habits and demand in various fields were totally different from the past. Many traditional buildings cannot meet the ever-changing functional needs. Therefore, in each of my project, I attached great importance to find and solve the contradictions between the old and new life mode, thus generating suitable architectural form.

Inspiration Eden -A Creative College For Crazy Designers These days, Chinese education attaches more and more importance to students' creativity and hands-on ability. The Creative College is a hand workshop similar to the Bauhaus school, where students could turn their designs into reality by hands. During that period of industrial development, the school provided as many oprating machines as possible so as to provide a good platform for students to realize their imagination. In today's innovation society, the college is not limited to providing good equipment, but also to creating an active design atmosphere for students. Creative college should break down traditional classroom boundaries so that students could enjoy interactive communication. Those studios processing similar work mode should bring cooperation, and studios processing opposite work mode should appreciate each other.

The site is located at the junction of Lanjing Road and Lantian Road and surrounded by wetland park. The school land was cut into several plots by the municipal roads and Pingshan River. Therefore, the overall plan is "Lifted Campus", by constructing the second floor platform, the campus will be developed into the air to release the ground floor space and make the campus environmental friendly.

The creative process itself is an art, is an exhibition. Some people are willing to communicate with others during the brainstorm, some people are willing to show their design work and get evaluated. I think creative college is a place where is full of unusual idea and breaks the rules. Therefore, I used geometric segmentation and some elements, like twisted glass, intersecting corridors and parametric facade, to show its uniqueness.

Neighborhood Park -A Home That Makes people closer The Urban Village is a unique residential form in Southern China. Due to its relatively low price, it has become the preferred renting area for many people who come to Shenzhen to earn their living. People who live here cook and entertain together so that the living atmosphere is harmonious and lively. However, with the progress of society and the improvement of the life rhythm, modern high-rise houses make neighbors meet each other less often. And, the relationship between people became more and more indifferent. In this project, we compared several traditional residential in China and concluded that the small streets surrounding the house are the main occasions for communication activities. I want to incorporate this kind of street into the modern form of the house.

Self-sufficiency In Marcita -An Experience Hall Of Italian Heritage Farmland Marcita is a unique farming technique in Southern Milan. Farmers digged canals and introduced the flow from Ticino River. In winter, the water in the canal works like ground heater, keeping the temperature constant throughout the area. As a result, there have species diversity and high production. The technique was no longer in use after the industrial revolution and become the cultural heritage. It is a good method for the preservation of heritage to involve people in this activity.

Ticino Park is an ecological park along the river near to Milan. Marcita famer used the water resources from Ticino River to split water into many subcanals. Thanks to the heat capacity of water, the temperature in this area is stable and you can see green herbage even in cold winter. Therefore, the region has maintained good species diversity and annual production has remained high.
This workflow will be the basis for our functional streamline settings.

Time Tunnel Library -A Library Shuttling In The Future & The Past Modern citizens spend more time reading and playing games on their smart devices at home, rather than going to the library to read a book quietly. The space provided by libraries can no longer meet the needs of most people. If we could organize time series and study the reading habits of people in different periods, then create a more memorial-like library, can we attract more readers here?
