“Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future, And time future contained in time past. If all time is eternally present All time is unredeemable.” (Burnt Norton-T.S. Eliot)
We tend to perceive time as 'flowing’, as though it were in a smooth and perpetually continuous motion. Time is a linear path and never to be relived except through memories. A yacht is floating on water; it moves through water like it moves through time. Memory is the only thing that remains from this voyage. Through custom interiors, progressive lighting, and specially designed furniture, this vessel will impress itself upon the memories of all who enter. The type of project is Hospitality, and it is a high-end restaurant, bar and childcare facility. The concept is “movement”, and applies through space planning, custom feature, and material selection.

Adaptive grid ceiling system is responding to people’s activity. The intention was to keep the continuity of the ceiling grid system while moving into the space. The continuous forms and spaces improved the movement concept. So, the movement applied in a continuous ceiling and furniture.

Upper Deck Ceiling The ceiling feature was created to support the movement concept. It is a continuous piece which reacts to space planning and furniture in the space. For example, it comes down where the staircase is located, and it goes up above the buffet table and bar. The ceiling includes three parts; slab, skin, and structure. Colorful LED lighting is specially designed for clubbing time. So, there are different lighting designs for the ceiling based on the activities.

Main Reflected Ceiling Plan
Main Deck Perspective Movement is applied through continuity in space planning and custom furniture. In space planning, there is a continuous shape through walls, partitions, and floor material. In the custom booths, wood flooring comes from the floor and turns in to the wall and then as a continuous piece turns into the table and booth seating. So, the booths and tables are both cantilevered. They are designed to be a single continuous object to improve the concept. Above each booth, there are arches with up and down lighting.
Tida Jewelry Shop
“Cave is the concept for this project, which came from the source of gold and jewelry. Designing an open space for jewelry, watches, and table accessories is a challenging part of space planning. There are lots of columns in this site, and they are used as display features for jewelry and watches to keep the space open. All the windows are covered and turned into outside/ inside displays to increase the display spaces and support the concept. Placing the cashier in back of the plan with closed surfaces was the solution for cashier security.

Table accessories are located in the front of the space based on the program and quantity. Having rough edges and organic shapes in the sell island and cashier supports the cave concept. The sell island is a focal point of the shop, which is based on the cave concept. It is surrounded by the display column to give a specific space for selling items. It is located in the middle of the space for easy access and more security. Also, there are security guards at the back door as well. Drop ceiling in sell island and cashier makes those areas brighter and brings more attention to them.

Cashier Elevation The organic shape of wall displays supports the cave concept. The cashier is centrally located, and it is closed from the sides for more security. The most expensive items are kept in the cashier display. Also, a security guard is located at the secondary door, which is close to the cashier. Tida Jewelry logo is following the same concept of roughness, and the color (bright yellow)represents the products that the shop is selling. Design Process:

East Section / Elevation All the windows are covered and divided to inside/outside displays to have more window displays and lead the customers to the inside of the shop. Also, it makes the space darker and draws attention to items at the same time as it increases the feeling of being in a cave.Dark brown concrete is used for flooring to give the effect of darkness/cave.
Island / Cashier Perspective
Front Entrance Elevation The front display is designed to be covered and to show few items in the front display. There is no visual access through displays to the inside of the shop, so it brings the customers to the inside.
Clone
Creating a clone of ourself in full scale with cardboard. The main intension was to show the human anatomy. Quantity or oriantation of layers show the human figure. Using joints was the most important consideration.

Gluing all the vertical layers together to show the standing position but it is not showing the human anatomy.
Two vertical pieces as a structure makes the torso. Each horizontal layer is different than other. Based on human body anatomy these horizontal and vertical layers make the torso.

Fluid Memory - White Solide Memory changes through time and we don’t reffer to it all the time. Different patterns on the pyramids show the changes. However the shape is the same (memory is the same but our asect is different) Kinetic Weave - Black Lines Spread the connection through out the space as a support. Penetration Shadow - Gray Plane Abstract plane with cut out triangle shape to penetrate shadow
Geometric Horizon
Fluid Memory - Gallery of movement and time - Pyramids changed to three rectangles in different size, angle, and adirection. Kinetic Weave - Space of Exitement taking some spaces out and making the different direction to improve exitement Penetration Shadow - Area of Shadow and Light - An open space with skylight to have a relaxing space
