THE CONCEPT OF THE CHALLET IS TO OVERTHROW THE TRADITIONAL RESORT. A MOVEABLE FLOATING CHALLET AND MODULAR CONCEPT ALLOW THE VISITOR HAVE DIVERSE EXPERIENCE AND DIFFERENT OPTION OF MODULAR FOR DIFFERENT ACTIVITES ON THE CHALLET.
THIS PROJECT IS TO DESIGN A ECO RESORT WITH 10 UNITS OF TYPICAL CHALET THAT LOCATED IN KLANG ISLAND, SELANGOR. IN CHALET DESIGN WAS DONE IN PROJECT 2, THUS PROJECT 3 IS TO DESIGNE THE FACILITY OF THE RESORT. THE FACILITY ARE INCLUDING JETTY, MAIN BUILDING OF THE RESORT AND RESTAURANT. HOWEVER, TO MAKE THE RESORT MORE INTRESTING BY ADDING IN PROGRAM WHICH RELATE TO THE SITE IS ALSO PRAT OF PROJECT 3. THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS TO PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN THE IDENTITY, COMPETIVENESS AND UNIQUENESS OF KLANG ISLANDS.
Kampong Bharu Information Centre-Epitomes is to record the history, current and future Of Kampong Bharu and become the cornerstone of Malaysia’s “New Village Program”.
“Epitomes” is referring to the miniature of Kampong Bharu. Therefore, in order to preserve the historical sense of Kampong Bharu, the design was inspired by the characteristics of traditional Malay house, such as stilt up design and the space arrangement of Malay traditional house. Kampong Bharu Information Centre is a comprehensive exhibition building that integrates planning, display, culture, education, leisure and other functions. It implements the functions of planning and publicity, education, e-library reading, city sightseeing, leisure and comprehensive combination of conference and office functions.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

The traditional Malay houses that now sit in the shadow of the gleaming Petronas Twin Towers in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, will be relocated and preserved as part of the redevelopment project. The redevelopment master plan includes a Heritage Park, where these houses will be relocated to make way for mixed development, Veritas Design Group vice-president Lilian Tay (above) said. The Heritage Park is part of various elements in the Kampung Baru redevelopment master plan. Houses that are not located where new structures will be built, will remain in their original location, Tay said.

The selected site in Kampong Bharu situated close to KL City Centre, which surrounded by resident and institution. Site 3 is lo cated near to the Kampong Bharu LRT station and Saloma Bridge which only 3 min walking distance to the site.
