The cheongsam design concept HANDMADE CHEONGSAM
C hengsam is a graceful traditional Asian cloth that is best known today was created in 1920 in Shanghai and made fashionable by socialites and upper class woman. I designed these clothes with the initial intention to preserve the graceful cheongsam and its tradition since Cheongsam that highlights the female elegance has lost its prime due to the trend of younger generation who prefers western clothing to cheongsams. I hope to design cheongsam of modern fashion by adding new elements to the tradition so that it can be enjoyed by modern woman.

I used client’s portrait to create a logo, and named for the new brand for 少年仔 which
means “young adult”. The sausage is made by a man who is a 22 years old college student so I consider that young and energetic would be the best image for this project. In addition, I took commercial photography for the sausage and design a DM that used red and gold colors which specific for Chinese new year.

Accessory design concept This project is mainly about the image pictures which put in electronics shopping center. I took the photographs with professional quality compact digital camera, used photoshop to adjust the light and removing backgrounds and used illustrator to determine the dimensions of lines. The lines’ design are specific for Christmas event.

Banner design concept M y company held a Halloween party for children in 2014, so I designed these pictures which
put on the Hi Drink website to promote the event. The pictures use some complementary colors and some pictures such as evil pumpkin and Hidrink corporate image to attract children.

Julien Icecream concept Julien ice cream is 100% made of fresh fruits so I consider that “fresh and natural� is the
main idea of this brand. I used some fresh fruit and beach background to build a comfortably cool atmosphere. In addition, Julien is a chef who studied in Le cordon Bleu in Paris so the background of the DM is blue and put a le cordon bleu on it.
