Welcome to FLP – We are an independent and family owned company who have been designing, manufacturing and installing our unique play solutions since 1992. By using only the highest quality timber we have developed SAFALOG™ a natural, recyclable, split resistant product which means we are confident to guarantee our products for a minimum of 15 years.
Since our company formed we have been designing new and exciting products, ensuring each time that all new products comply with all current safety standards. EN1176, EN1177 and EN16630. As a British manufacturer all of our products are made on site at our head offices in Wisbech. We can also boast that every member of staff working for FLP is directly employed by us. Whether it is maintenance and repairs, operational inspections or new installations we are here to help every step of the way. Our project portfolio highlights our extensive and diverse customer base. Ranging from Local Authority parks, Town and Parish play areas through to Primary Schools, the rest of the Education Sector and the MOD. We offer a wide range of innovative playground equipment which also includes street furniture, fencing, fitness equipment and safety surfacing, so whatever your needs, we have the solution.

From agriculture in 1830 through to manufacturing leisure products, business sustainability, quality products and customer service has been our success through over 150 years of family trading.
We offer a full turnkey solution with all directly employed staff. Our in-house installation team with years of dedicated knowledge of our products have the expertise to ensure your new facility is constructed to the required safety standards and on time. After installation; all our equipment is independently inspected providing customers the reassurance that our product and services have been delivered to the latest standards.
Product Design From product through to project design this all handled by our in-house design team. We are constantly refining our products, the way we can incorporate advances in materials to meet our ever changing customer / market requirements. Alongside our standard products we are also able to offer a “U-design� service where we can adapt standard products or design bespoke products to meet individual requirements.

Quality Materials
All our products are manufactured using traditionally skilled craftsman whilst utilising the latest technology available. Using CNC wood production machinery driven directly from our CAD software. As a result of this we are able to ensure each component is precision machined.
FLP is synonymous with quality, with over 60,000 square feet of factory, warehouses and offices in Christchurch, Cambridgeshire. This means everything from product design, manufacturing, warehousing and installation operations are in one place ensuring we have quality control in all that we do.
Our timber products are manufactured from SafalogTM, an engineered long structural glue laminated beam constructed from FSC certified slow grown Bavarian softwood. Once fully machined our Safalog is pressure treated with ACQ providing a long lasting low maintenance product.

Swinging
We offer a wide choice of children’s swings that range from toddler swings through to our super snake swing which can be used by up to 10 children at one time. Our range of swings are produced in pressure treated natural laminated Safalog™ with options of steel post feet. An equivalent range of swings is also available in steel.

Sliding
Sliding has always been a great play favourite for children of all ages and is one of the many reasons why slides of varying heights are incorporated into most play structures. FLP provide a great selection of free standing slides from low level themed slides through to high tube or embankment slides either constructed from stainless steel or polyethylene.

Springing Our compact Springers are a perfect addition to any toddler area providing the sensation of rocking and swaying in one compact dynamic design. We have a wide variety of imaginative springers including a range of animals, transport themed rockers and seesaws too. Our fun mobiles are manufactured from colourful and virtually maintenance free polyethylene.

As well as this, if you want to enhance your play space our rubber Wetpour surface is able to incorporate colourful bespoke graphics to add extra play value to your area.

We provide a 5 year guarantee for Rubber Wetpour, Rubber Safagrass Matting and Nearly Grass; which are all certified to EN1177. As well as this, we offer a nationwide installation service by our experienced FLP staff.
SURFACING REPAIRS FLP provide a surfacing repair service which includes Wetpour repairs and edging reinstatement where existing surfaces have retracted, as well as synthetic grass and safagrass repairs; all carried out by our in-house installation team.

FLP is a leading manufacturer of specialised adult fitness trail equipment and has built up a powerful reputation as a pioneer of outdoor fitness structures. All fitness products are manufactured from technologically advanced SAFALOG™ (Pressure impregnated engineered strong laminated redwood timber beams). Our adult fitness trail equipment is manufactured to EN16630 the European Safety Standard covering the manufacture, installation, inspection and maintenance of permanently installed, freely accessible outdoor fitness equipment. All our equipment is intended “For youths and adults taller than 1.4m”.

Outdoor Community Gyms EN16630:2015
Our outdoor community gym equipment is sturdy, requires low maintenance and offers high resistance to vandalism. From multi-user configurations to space saving stations designed to target a specific muscle group, our range is suitable for use by all members of the community over 1.4m in height. Areas can be designed to cater for every space and budget. When installing community outdoor gym equipment into a grass area, we always recommend providing either a resin bound rubber or safagrass ground protection surface.
All steel is pre-treated with a zinc coating with options to surface mount the equipment where foundations exist.
A double powder coating process provides a colourful durable finish.
