•There are 19 all-you-can-eat meals served in the Fairmount Café each week (breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the school week and brunch and dinner on the weekends). *If you miss a meal during the day you can replace it by eating at Late Night dining offered Sunday through Thursday.

With a 19 meal plan you can eat all 19 meals served during the week. With a 15 meal plan you can eat 15 out of the 19 meals served … and so on. All meal plans include either $200 or $300 Shocker Dollars—a part of your meal plan that we have set aside for flexible spending.

Shocker Dollars from current plans will not transfer to the summer semester, and Shocker Dollars from the summer will not transfer to the fall semester. Meal plans involving meals per week will be available for use from 5/22/2013 to 8/2/2013.

Brennan Hall

Brennan Hall, a three-unit complex, was constructed as a men’s dormitory to accommodate the influx of students the University experienced following World War II.

Fairmount Towers

Fairmount Towers is the largest of the university’s residence halls, with the capacity to house up to 600 students. Composed of two high-rise living units and a central dining facility, it was constructed as a private dormitory around the time the institution became a state university in 1964.

Wheatshocker Apartments

In the fall of 1994, WSU President Eugene Hughes proposed buying the apartments to “make a new building out of an old building.� With an investment of about $11.6 million in revenue bonds, the university gutted the six-story, U-shaped building and replaced virtually everything.

The first phase of renovation was completed by the fall 1996 se-mester. It is now a prime housing option for uperclassmen and graduate students.

The Process Applying to live on campus is a four-part process that involves submitting your housing application, selecting your housing preferences, receiving and returning/accepting your contract, and receiving your assignment. The date you apply for housing is the date used to determine your priority when offering contracts and when assigning housing, so applying earlier means that you have a better chance of getting one of your top preferences.

You must be accepted as a student before applying for housing. Admissions applications are deemed complete when all items listed as application requirements have arrived and been processed by the Office of Admissions. Recommended/suggested items do not affect completion. Items submitted electronically appear online in a couple of days; items submitted by mail can take two weeks or more to be processed and appear online.
