The aperture of the camera inspires the Open Eye Gallery It is a dynamic process of light travels into the opening lens and creates dramatic effects to the camera scenes. The aperture is made of overlapping blades that can be adjusted to vary the size of the opening and control the amount of the lights. The gallery design is adapting the delicate interaction of opening lens and light variables as a large scale, by manipulating the natural light movement's direction & aspect to reshape the space. The gallery captures the artwork from nature through the interplay of lights and shadows, as daylight goes through the architectural facade and openings.

Deconstructe the shape of the lens The overlap blades inside the circular lens feature a hexagon shape. To Deconstructed the hexagon into six triangles so that it forms a hexagon. And, the angle of a regular hexagon is 120 degrees. Also, the design can be solid or space, which refers to the positive and the negative of the lenses. The deconstructed development brings the design ideas to the gallery. The new exterior G.F.R.C screen will create the triangle cutout that forms the hexagon shape so that the daylight will be invited into the gallery and shape the space. Besides, the circular format draws the visitor’s circulation. The hexagon pattern creates the modular shape which will apply to the courtyard layout design.

To ensure safety at work, the gallery employee has different entrance form the guest The Bubble diagrams are referring to the adjacency matrix and occupant analysis. The building has a total of 6 stories, and each story has around 3,500 square feet. The gallery space will locate in level one to level three. Level one will serve cafĂŠ and design shop for visitors to rest and shop. The public outdoor space can also be a temporary outdoor exhibition. Concerning the connection of level one to level three, to create the opening slab in the existing floor is a solution to connect the level one to level three. And, people will notice that the gallery is continuous until level three. From level one to level three are the public, and other levels are all private area for people who work for the gallery. The areas

include open workspace, back-of-house, meeting room, work station, employee lounge, and photo studio. There are several issues in the existing structure. First of all, the building doesn’t have a proper egress plan. It requires a fire-rated stair according to the building code. Besides, there is a new build stair shaft adjacent to the elevator, which creates additional access for visitors to reach level three and also improve the safety of egress. Secondly, the building lacks natural light. To invite the sunlight into the gallery, there is a skylight at level sixth, so that creates a vertical light shaft. The vertical light source contributes to the gallery a proper moisture balance, comfort, and dramatically change the indoor environment.
• Create a three-story lobby • Green rooftop further supports the building's sustainability • Natural light shaft provides high levels of daylight combined with fresh air

Utilizing the negative and positive of the lens to make an impact Level one layout is inspired by the negative of the opening lens. The cafĂŠ is a focus area. When people walk on the sidewalk, they will see the coffee shop through the structural glass wall. The flow plan demonstrates the visitors and employees route in the public space. For the visitors, the gallery provides two entrances in level one.

Water has the flexibility and adaption such as Oakland learned to adapt to the periodic changes that controlled its function of the region The design principle is rhythm, which is inspired by the shape of the water. The flowing water is flexible that will be adaptive for the floor plan layout like the water flows into each space. Also, the transparent elements, water, and glasses are reflective, allowing the natural light to go through inner space.

Buddhism plays a vital role in the cultural development of Bhutanese To preserve Buddhism, the symbols of the religion are carved in stone such as mantras and prayer walls. Bhutanese clothing is often meaningful. The colorful textiles are adorned with symbols of Buddhism. Even a scarf or a coat has some specific spiritual significance. The color of clothes reveals the rank in Bhutan’s society. Along with plenty of forests, Bhutanese houses and temples have beautiful timber features such as exposed carved beams and the wide floorboards. Prayer flags and wheel In Bhutan, prayer flags and prayer wheels can be seen everywhere. When colorful flags are blown by the wind, it releases spiritual vibrations, and the prayers are carried along with the air silently. Everyone breath and touch the prayer air would feel joyful and uplifted. Prayer flags have horizontal and vertical forms. The horizontal form is more common to see called “Wind Horse which has five flags in different 5 colors. The 5 colors represent 5 basic elements: blue –space, white-air, red-fire, green-water, yellow-earth. People believe balancing these elements externally brings harmony to the environment, and internally brings health to body and mind. Prayers wheels are cylindrical with the gold surface. Buddhists believe that mindfully spinning a prayer wheel produces the same benefits and merits as orally reciting the number of mantras inside the prayer wheel. The more revolution one makes the greater the merits.
