The architecture that l want to do is like this. Aim beyond what immediate client demands and monetary restrictions require. Architecture without learning and reason is dead architecture, like seed without water and nourishment. l don't want to architecture as a mere means of making money. Deepening the depth of architecture is worth more than working for money and l think think it is one of the things human beings can do.

There are many ways to deepen the depth of architecture. There is a way to push digital architecture to the limit, and sometimes find its hints in a historical context. I'm looking for ways to deepen the depth by trying various architectural methodologies, and this portfolio is the result of those attempts.

PLAY OF TYPOLOGY Theory Base Project l After reading "Modern Architecture and Non-representaion" ln this project, architecture is regarded as a single text away from the site. The architectural text away from the site is interpretable from a structuralist perspective and forms new text in the same way as overlays and penetrations. This project aimed at building without any (social, cultural) meaning. That is the construction of a purely symbolic rather than sense, purely to track the (text) language of the game.
Compositional Methodology
Year: 2020 Location: Pompidou center. PARlS Type: Culture complex lnstructor: Lee Joon-yeol Category: Academic Graduation Project Role: lndividual Work
Start the architectural design before many people are reportedly reflected the text. The text here Social, cultural, economic, found in all areas, such as in other areas, and text you when all. This is called context. (The text is here, forming a relationship created by the outcome of structural factors.) Some people put social text first, while others put cultural text first. Each person will have a different field of text to prioritize. This project is based on the external view of architecture. Not from (social, cultural, etc) lt's just that the elements that make up the architecture and their relationship. l want to focus on the structure that explains it.
People can read the grid of the Pompidou Center when they see the building in front of the square. they can recognize that objects are placed on a grid basis. They can see the square from the protruding bridge.
At this location, they can see the mechanical aesthetic architectural language of the Pompidou Center and the great contrast of the traditional standing.

1st Floor_ Object system
Object generation
Of the system is the object of the system. Quotation from the design. The shape used here, subtraction, multiplication, scaling, a simple way.
2nd Area ln the second section connecting objects in the aspects of the system is the main attack. System of this bridge is Bridge is expressed as the main copper wire and role linking the objects. Pompidou's Pompidou also placed because of the bridge to connect the objects placed on the basis of grid based on the grid.Bridge Low Floors Part of the bridge between the user through the object and can estimate the size of the space object as well as the lobby. The difference between object system and Surface system was expressed in color, material and textonic. The color of the object is pastel-toned, and the color of the bridge is expressed in dark red and blue. And the material of the object gave the matte texture of the concrete, and the bridge gave the texture of the steel. The main bridge in the middle floor bounces out of Pompidou's bouncer, where you can best see the contrast between the modern language of the building and the traditional language of the building around the site while blurring the boundaries of the building's interior and exterior.
2rd Area lf tickets are purchased at the ticket office of the Recession object on the lower floor, visitors will be able to view the exhibition at the permanent exhibition hall on the upper floor. The permanent exhibition hall is designed by quoting 9 square of Paladio. Therefore, it consists of nine exhibition spaces with the same area. Each thread has an area of 26 meters wide and 26 meters long and is 14 meters high. At the top, you can see that the three systems have intertextuality by superposition and tubularity. The object system and line system have a relationship through overlap, and the object system and Surface system have a relationship through tubular passage. Building users will be able to experience architectural space through different architectural elements in a series of moves from object system to Surface system, from Surface system to Line system, and back from Line system to Object system.
Perspective Section

Object system
The system of surfaece is the system of bridge . Bridges connect objects, giving a view of the open space on the lower floors.
The object system is a system about objects that penetrate the entire floor. Each object accepts a program. Objects are placed by the grid system.
Line system ln this project, the line system is the system of the wall, not the wall, and the system of lines separating the exhibition room.
In the Perfect section, you can see the systems overlapping and penetrating. Each system proposes motion in its own way and forms a new space in overlapping areas.
PAPlER FALTEN Songdo lnternational Museum l Line + Plane base methodology ln this project, a methodology was used to combine oblique, oblique angles, and planes. As the site is a wide open park, diagonal lines and sides were used in a way that maximizes visual effects.
02.
Site plan_ Main road The roads surrounding the site overlap each other to form angles. When determining the shape of a building, these angles were modified to look effective, and were used to emphasize the direction of entry and exit by people.
View map _ Site with River When looked down at the site from a skyscraper, there was a river in front of the site. The area of the site and the area of the river were similar, and the river also looked like a part of the site. As the site is so wide, we decided to use more complex lines rather than simple ones.

PATCHWORK Gong-neung apartment housing l Mass unit base methodology This project is based on the mass formation, roof shape, and cross section shape of residential space. Residents' housing types were observed more microscopically and reflected in the form of mass and cross-section.
03.
Section Type _ Housing style by behavior Developable Sites_ Link with Railroad
The best part of the site is that the railroad track used as a railroad has been remodeled into a park. Thanks to the park, the influx of outsiders increased and commercial activities became more active. With the development of SNS, there are many shops selling cafes and pretty props around the park. Furthermore, there are many universities around, so there seems to be a space to help young people's economic activities while solving the housing of college students.
Terrace priority type
Two-person type
Single-person type
It is the type for people who value sunlight more than any other factor.
It is the type where two residents share a living space. It is the type for young people who are worried about housing costs.
It is the type for residents who value their privacy more than their housing costs.
Timetable according to behavior The next time table is a time table that analyzes the lifestyle of college students and nearby residents around the site. Overall, the activities are different, but it can be seen that the movements overlap a lot during mealtime. As college students and residents had different lifestyles, it was deemed necessary to have a residential space according to their living patterns.
Peanut house
Workspace Priority
It is the type with two dwellings attached in succession. It is attached but does not share space.
It is the type that puts work space before residential life. Workspace is shared with other residents.
Central shared type
Duplex type
Low-floor sharing type
Up and down, there is a residential space for residents and a shared space in the middle. The partition of the residential space is certain.
Thanks to the structure of duplex space, it is possible to live alone or to live with two people.
There is a residential space for residents at the upper level and a terrace shared by residents at the lower level.
Elevation _ back of site Because of the topographical features of the site, the height of the mass is raised by the back of the head. Artificial slopes such as stairs and slopes were added to make the residents' movements more smooth.
The biggest difference between the lower and upper layers is the size and material of the elevation window. A translucent polycarbonate was used for the lower layer and a scotter was used for the upper layer.
View map _ courtyard with units Courtyard is an external space shared by units. It is a space where people from various units gather to form a community and relax. The upper part is separated from the lower part because it is inhabited by residents.
Residential Area
Court yard
Commercial Area
The residential floor is located in the upper part of the house, which is out of reach of outsiders. The types of housing vary according to the number of people, and there are shared kitchens, toilets, and dining room.
Court yard is a space used by residents and local residents. lt provides a place to rest at the same time as a shared farm.
Commercial facilities are located in the lower floors of the railroad park, which is easy to access. Translucent polycarbonate was used on the elevation.
Perspective Section Prior to the apartment project, the site was a place full of detached houses. The area of residential space was inefficient and there was a lack of shared space available to residents. Therefore, when carrying out the apartment project, the design was carried out focusing on the shared space as well as the residential space they would use.
04. CRYSTAL OF DESlRE Skyscraper Project l Mass carving methodology
This project is a study of the formation of crystal fragments formed by carving mass chunks. The crystal-shaped mass has both the desire of the height of the skyscraper and the desire of the form. lt is shaped like a lump of desire, like the Tower of Babel. The reason for realizing the desire for form was the chronic problem of high-rise buildings, vacancy rates. Rather than prioritizing efficiency, skyscrapers should be able to influence the city's skyline and reflect people's desires well.
Collection of Desire
High-rise buildings require high-level technology to support huge structures while simultaneously costing huge amounts of capital. Therefore, economic feasibility tends to be prioritized, so design is often carried out with
ln the past, building skyscrapers safely and simply was the biggest priority due to the lack of structural technology. Therefore, the lower part is wide, but the upper part is narrower. The Empire State Building, like the Empire State
efficiency at the center. However, we should consider the situation after the building was built.
Building, uses a design that narrows from bottom to top.
The vacancy rate of the Empire State Building, which is now 90 years old, is 31 percent. Underdeveloped buildings
However, due to the remarkable development of structural technology, the Hyungdae society was able to move away
and facilities can also be obstacles to tenants. Obviously, the Empire State Building is a symbolic building, but l wanted to make a new presentation about the skyscraper that symbolizes desire.
from its past forms and design more freely. Therefore, in this project, the city's skyline was greatly influenced and the people's desire and desire were integrated into the design.

Role
Project alternative due to vacancy rate problem
This project is a high-rise building project, and the site is not restricted. Therefore, the site where the existing skyscraper was located was also possible. l had the desire contained in a skyscraper as the most important point at the same time that a skyscraper was the most suitable for performing its function. And if the vacancy rate of a skyscraper in use was high, doubts about the efficiency equal to the area of the building were raised. Therefore, we chose the Empire State Building as a site that has a very high value as a skyscraper, has a high vacancy rate, and can best solve the desire for a skyscraper. With the technology at the time, there must have been a tremendous limit in barking tall buildings. However, in modern society, technology is not a big problem. The morphogenesis methodology l propose is to sculpt a mass to make a kind of crystal. This decision has little to do with efficiency and is a means of showing the desire for the very high-class.
The masses accommodating each program were allocated a suitable area for the program. The shape of the mass was formed by carving it out of a cube, just like carving.
The plane of this project is very far from efficient. This is not because the plan was considered first.
Lines stretching out from the projected
The mass of the school district exists separately because
boundery reveal their presence.
it has different programmatic characteristics from other mass.
The shape of the building viewed from the bottom is a feast of lines extending upward. lt contrasts greatly with the surrounding buildings that are honestly built.
Program Division Each crystal-shaped mass has a program, and its size reflects the required area per program. ln addition, each program was selected as a necessary program for operating skyscrapers and operated on its own without any outside movement.
Perspective Section The surrounding buildings are all well-built, forming a monotonous city skyline. However, the crystal of aspiration reflects a desire for form and height. And that desire invigorates the starline of a desolate city. This is like the desire of the Tower of Babel.
MASS MONTAGE
05.
Hagye Middle School l Mass base methodology The project begins with the most basic unit of form, hexagonal mass. The goal is to form a new space through overlapping and penetrating between modified masses, while modifying the shape of widening, height, and length.
1 Apartment: A large apartment complex is formed and interferes with the view.
The densely formed apartments make the city's landscape desolate.
2 Villa: Small villas are formed and visibility is secured compared to apartment complexes.
3 Education: The educational institutions in the back block the back of the school.
Placement of programs for schools The school's programs have programs that existing schools have while also having programs that can be used by nearby residents. Each program has a required area and creates a variety of spaces within the school, with modified mass colliding with each other.
Each program consists of programs required by the school, such as libraries, audios, and classrooms, and is distributed in size to suit the program.
The appearance of the school from the outside is seen as a clash and overlap of several large mass.
The appearance of an irregular sketch of the mass comes with a different appearance in each position shown. The form of mass extending diagonally gives the city a new atmosphere.
Diagonal lines
The most dramatic space in the school is the main hall. The modified mass overlaps and overlaps with each other, causing visual interference in one space. ln the main hall, where overlapping and penetrating mass are shown, each other's views are opened, overlapping each other's eyes.
Students talk to each other in the main hall and sit down and relax during breaks. Because it is open everywhere, students experience a new sense of space, and high ceiling high schools help students improve their creativity.
High Apartment Complex High-rise apartment complexes make the city's landscape desolate and make the area of the sky seen less. The appearance of schools in high-rise apartments is more dramatic.
Hagye Middle School Low Villa Complex The low-rise villa complex does not cause much harm to the cityscape. Schools are seen in the villa complex, and schools that have been transformed into more dramatic forms from existing schools give vitality to the desolate urban landscape.
The lines of schools extending in various diagonal lines form the skyline of the new city. And l think this effect is one of the positive effects of architecture on society.
Perspective Section As classrooms go alone in lined corridors, they can experience space opening slowly. This spatial composition adds fun to the behavior of moving around for students who frequently take mobile classes. And the penetrating mass expands its gaze and adds to the fun of space.
