Bringing the taste of Greece/ and the Mediterranean to Seoul, El Grecos serves up a menu of authentic, mouth-watering dishes using the freshest ingredients. After spending 10 years in the five-star hotels industry, owner Dan Wilson introduces Seoulites to a new, healthy and delicious cuisine. Vegetarians are welcome too, with dishes such as the falafel plate. A staple of Mediterranean cuisine, falafels are mashed chickpeas that are mixed with spices then deep-fried and bursting in flavor. But El Grecos is known for its main dish, the pork gyros (in Greece, gyros is made from pork unlike in America where lamb is the staple). Most of you might know the gyros’s cousin, the kebab, but the gyros wrap takes the kebab to a whole new level with freshly-baked thicker pita bread and a generous helping of meat to make it a much heartier meal. Add the signature tzatziki (made in house) sauce and you’ve got yourself a nirvana in your mouth.
