Authors Laurel Moglen has produced news for local NPR affiliates KPCC and KCRW, including the programs “Which Way LA?” and “AirTalk,” where she was immersed in all things Los Angeles – its politics, history, current events, and cultural vastness. She makes podcasts too, including one for Travelocity covering what to do, see, and eat in cities around the world. Travel and discovering the subtleties of what gives a place its identity is a passion of hers, and nowhere is it more fascinating, complicated, and mercurial than in Los Angeles, her home for many years.
Julia Posey is a writer, artist, and clothing designer. She is a native Angeleno and has worked for NPR affiliate KPCC’s “AirTalk” and “Talk of the City.” She has also written and filed stories for KPCC news. She has held many jobs, and in her inauspicious youth – she even worked in a recycling truck. She lives in Highland Park with her husband, sons, and sweet dog.
