The Solution Rather than attempting to develop an automated migration solution in-house, Symantec engaged Esdebe because of their unrivalled knowledge in this area, coupled with their ability to swiftly respond and deliver. Esdebe also had a proven track record with Symantec for honesty, reliability and exceptional innovative expertise as they had originally been involved in migrating organisations from software stacks to NetBackup Appliances. The initial brief was to help Symantec develop the IP for the solution, including the training materials and step-by-step instructions. The Results Esdebe expedited the development of an automated migration solution and delivered a step-by-step instruction manual along with global training materials within six months, rather than the originally anticipated twelve. Since making cost-effective NetBackup migrations possible, Esdebe has been delivering training to Symantec Partners on an international scale.
