of courageous voyagers together with admiring the splendid city “Perfect strangers, simple passers-by met us with sincere smiles and generous compliments, people were astounded by the beauty of the model and the dresses she wore,” says Aleksander, the co-owner of the trademark “Innocentia.”

When we stroll through the cosy cobbled streets of absorbing Lisbon every little step brings us closer to the times when dauntless seamen set out on long hazardous voyages leaving their devoted wives to wait and pray for their safety and well-being. This is the city of incorrigible romantics and brides-to-be, who revealed the art of singing “fado” to the whole world. “Fados” are the legendary Portuguese romantic songs about love and separation, about brave seamen leaving their warm homes for another perilous circumnavigation. The plaintive folk songs also tell the stories of loving and patient women waiting for their husbands to come back safe and sound after exploring new lands. It goes without saying that the landscapes of Lisbon served as perfect backdrops for the photo shoot of the latest opulent collection of dresses by “Innocentia.”

The weightless gauzy silhouettes of the resplendent dresses looked absolutely impeccable during a serene walk through the ancient meandering streets of Lisbon, just as if they belonged there. The charm of the magnificent city served as a flattering complement to the ethereal images of the wedding dresses and accentuated the subtleties of the bohemian style which permeates the entire collection.

The exclusive sophistication of the awe-inspiring dresses from the collection “Innocentia divina” conjures up the images of intricately patterned Portuguese “azulejos”. Every single stitch of a scrupulous dress master is made with

Ogni passo lungo le strade di lisbona ci porta ai tempi dei conquistatori dei mari e delle loro mogli che li stavano aspettando. Questa è una città di incorreggibili romantici e sposi, una città famosa in tutto il mondo grazie al fado e alle tradizionali romanze portoghesi sull’amore e sulla separazione, sui marinai che viaggiavano e conquistavano nuove terre e sulle loro donne che pregavano del ritorno degli uomini a casa. Proprio qui, a Lisbona, è stata fatta una sessione fotografica di una nuova collezione di abiti da sposa «Innocentia».

It was decided to present the new collection 2018 of the trademark “Innocentia divina” in Lisbon, Portugal. This time we weren’t choosing to shoot the collection against the backdrops of some local landmarks, palaces and museums. It became a thing of the past for us. We resolved to focus on the absorbing vibes of the ancient city which served as the starting point of voyages leading to the greatest discoveries made by some dauntless explorers.

Коллекцию 2018 года команда ТМ «Innocentia divina» решила представить в португальском городе Лиссабон. В этот раз для фотосьемок никто не искал памятники архитектуры, дворцы, музеи, как это было раньше, главное это колорит древнего города, жители которого сотни лет назад покоряли новые континенты.

“We were really impressed by the cleanliness and order which were so rigorously followed in Portugal,” recalls the chief director Aleksander.

Lisbon photo shoot turned out to be truly emotional. Our photographer Katerina hadn’t thought out the sites for photos beforehand, she just followed her intuition and was going out of her way to convey the beauty of the dresses as well as the sincere positive emotions which the whole team had put into the collection.

“During our previous photo shoots crowds of tourists had been really distracting, but in Lisbon it was the other way round. The atmosphere was serene but still it was pleasant to spot the faces of astounded passers-by. People admitted that our model and the dresses that she wore were really beautiful. Everyone was absolutely enchanted,” tells Katerina.

The local residents are special. It is commonplace to hear the melodies of Portuguese romantic songs from open windows. The cosy meandering streets are steeped in the charm of ancient Europe, which is so inspiring and invigorating.

The weather wasn’t especially favourable and embraced us with cold air but it couldn’t hamper the creative process. The team succeeded in conveying the graceful opulence of the exclusive collection.

“We were really lucky to find a perfect model. The pretty girl showed top-notch professionalism and looked ravishing in every shot. It was quite cold and the whole team put on sweaters and coats but the model endured the low temperature and looked flawless in the revealing dresses,” recalls Katerina.

“When the process was in full swing the group of black locals was passing by and eagerly agreed to join the model for a photograph. The men were excited and plunged into this process with happy smiles,” shares Katerina.

Those four days were action-packed and full of unparalleled emotions, since the team managed to freeze the impeccable elegance of the gowns in great photos. Besides, all the participants had a chance to soak up the memorable atmosphere of the ancient city and got to know its culture and traditions.

“Португалия произвела очень позитивные впечатления, там соблюдается чистота и порядок” - делится своими воспоминаниями управляющий компанией Александр. Фотоссесия в Лиссабоне была очень эмоциональной. Фотограф Катерина не продумывала заранее маршруты, она доверилась своим чувствам и старалась через снимки передать не только всю красоту изысканных платьев, но и положительные эмоции. “Во время предыдущих съемок нам мешали толпы туристов, они не давали нам работать, в Лиссабоне же было спокойней, но равнодушными мы никого не оставляли. Люди проходили, говорили, что у нас очень красивая модель и очень красивые платья, все были просто в восторге” - рассказывает Катерина. Люди здесь совершенно особенные, из окон домов доносятся звуки португальских романсов, а улицы буквально переполнены колоритом старинной Европы, который не может не вдохновлять. Несмотря на прохладную погоду, команда «Innocentia» сумела передать весь шарм, изящность и эксклюзивность новой коллекции. “С моделью нам очень повезло, девочка очень красива. Она хорошо работала и отлично получалась в кадре. Несмотря на то, что было достаточно холодно, настолько, что мы все одели свитера и куртки, модель Жанна в открытых платьях очень хорошо работала” - вспоминает Катерина. Во время съемок команда «Innocentia» заметила чернокожих местных жителей, которые очень колоритно выглядели. Катерина рассказывает: “Мы с ними сделали имиджевую фотографию. Ребята сразу с охотой согласились, улыбались и позировали”. Работа в городе португальских первооткрывателей длилась четыре дня, за которые креативная группа сумела не только сделать отличные, атмосферные фотографии, что смогли передать всю утонченность платьев коллекции «Лиссабон», но и целиком окунуться в атмосферу старинного города с его культурой и обычаями.

Allargare gli orizzonti Il team della marca «Innocentia divina» ha deciso di presentare la nuova collezione del 2019 nella città portoghese di Lisbona. Questa volta nessuno cercava i monumenti architettonici, i palazzi, i musei per i servizi fotografici, perché la cosa principale era il colore della città antica, gli abitanti della quale centinaia di anni fa conquistarono nuovi continenti.

“Il Portogallo ci fatto un’impressione molto positiva, c’è tanta pulizia e ordine” – Alessandro, il direttore della società condivide i suoi ricordi.

Lo shooting fotografico a Lisbona è stato molto emozionante. La fotografa Katerina non ha progettato niente in anticipo, si è fidata dei suoi sentimenti e ha cercato di trasmettere attraverso le immagini non solo la bellezza degli abiti raffinati, ma anche le emozioni positive.

“Durante le riprese precedenti, siamo stati ostacolati da una folla di turisti che non ci hanno permesso di lavorare, invece a Lisbona tutto era molto più calmo, ma non abbiamo lasciato indifferente nessuno. Mentre le persone passavano vicino, facevano i complimenti sulla nostra modella e sui bellissimi vestiti, infatti tutti sono rimasti impressionati dalla loro bellezza” – racconta Katerina.

Le persone a Lisbona sono speciali, i suoni delle canzoni portoghesi si sentono dalle finestre delle case e le strade sono piene del colore dell’Europa antica, che non fa altro che ispirarti. Nonostanteil clima fresco, il team “Innocentia” è riuscito a trasmettere tutto il fascino, l’eleganza e l’esclusività della nuova collezione.

“Con la modella siamo stati molto fortunati, la ragazza è molto bella. Ha lavorato bene ed è uscita bellissima sulle foto. Nonostante che il tempo era freddo, e tutti stavano con i maglioni pesanti e giacche addosso, la modella Zhanna ha lavorato molto bene”, - ricorda Katerina.

Durante le riprese, il team di “Innocentia” ha notato i locali afroamericani che avevano una presenza molto particolare.

Katerina racconta: “Abbiamo fatto insieme una foto. I ragazzi accettarono la nostra proposta immediatamente, erano sorridenti e felici”.

Il lavoro nella città dei pionieri portoghesi è durato quattro giorni, per i quali il gruppo creativo è stato in grado non solo di realizzare le fotografie eccellenti, capaci di trasmettere tutta la sottigliezza degli abiti della collezione di Lisbona, ma anche di immergersi nell’atmosfera della città antica con la sua cultura e le sue abitudini.

The land of explorers Portugal is rarely associated with the celebrated names of dauntless seamen and explorers such as Vasco da Gama, Ferdinand Magellan and Bartolomeu Dias, but the Portuguese were the first to prove that the Earth is round. The expedition run by Ferdinand Magellan in 1519 was moving along the eastern coast of South America and discovered the strait between the mainland and the archipelago “Tierra del Fuego” (Spanish for “Land of Fire”). Today this strait bears the name of the great explorer.

His voyage is regarded as one of the most distinguished in the 16th century, since the team headed for the west and came back from the east. That fact enabled Ferdinand Magellan to provide the evidence about the round shape of the Earth. During that very expedition Europeans managed to cross the perilous Pacific for the first time in history.

The Portuguese discovered the Azores, The Cape Verde islands, The Canaries, these courageous sailors circumnavigated Cape Bojador and Cabo Blanco. Vasco da Gama was credited with opening the way to India around the coast of Africa and joined the Moluccas to Portugal. The entire wealth of Portugal was derived from Brazil, Madagascar, Mauritius, Ceylon, the Malay Archipelago, Macau and Japan.

The contribution of these eminent explorers is so immense that their names will always reverberate through history.

Terra di esploratori Vasco da Gama, Ferdinando Magellano e Bartolomeo Das. Questi nomi sono familiari a molti dai libri di storia o dai film documentari, ma tutti sanno che questi coraggiosi esploratori e pionieri provengono da un piccolo paese chiamato Portogallo.

I ricercatori originari di queste regioni furono i primi a dimostrare che la Terra è rotonda. La spedizione guidata dal portoghese Ferdinando Magellano nel 1519 si spostò lungo la costa orientale del Sud America e scoprì uno stretto tra la terraferma e l’arcipelago Terra del Fuoco, lo Stretto di Magellano. Praça do Comércio Commerce Square, which has recently reclaimed the name of Palace Square, is one of the biggest and most imposing squares in Europe. It is located in the historic centre of Lisbon and for hundreds of years has been the so-called “gate” to the Baixa District of Lisbon. The special aura of the place is connected with one interesting fact from the past. Right there was located the building of the royal library, which featured the mind-boggling collection of 70 thousand books.

In the harbour of Palace Square the local aristocrats used to welcome different honourable delegations. This is where the carvels loaded with the Chinese silk, spices and sugar from the east were secured. This place saw luxurious celebrations, but on the other hand it was scarred with the harrowing memories of executions.

The modern square is crowned with the statue of Don Jose I, who was the king’s minister. He was renowned as the politician who gave special privileges to merchants, financiers and the bourgeoisie.

Nowadays it is frequently used as the foundation for multimedia night shows. On the top of the construction you will find the viewing area. Ministries and posh restaurants are hidden in the yellow buildings that fringe the square. By the way, here you will have a chance to be wined and dined in one of the oldest restaurants of Lisbon called “Martinhoda Arcada.”

Una delle piazze più grandi e più belle d’Europa è la Piazza del Commercio, che non molto tempo fa è diventata nuovamente la Piazza del Palazzo. Si trova nel centro storico di Lisbona e per centinaia di anni è stata una «porta» per la zona del quartiere Baixa. Era qui che si trovava la biblioteca reale con 70 mila di libri, e nel 16 ° secolo questo numero era favoloso.

Al molo di Piazza del Palazzo, l’aristocrazia della città accoglieva le delegazioni ufficiali incoronate, qui sono state ormeggiate le caravelle che trasportavano la seta cinese, le spezie e lo zucchero dall’Oriente. The lovely tram tour through the cosy meandering streets is a must for every curious holidaymaker. The streets are so narrow that sometimes you can touch the walls of ancient buildings reaching out of an open window.

If you want to enjoy the local landmarks, you should definitely choose tram route №28. On this enchanting journey you will catch a glimpse of Saint George’s Castle, the Lisbon Cathedral, a bewildering variety of viewing areas and squares. You should bear in mind one useful tip – it is better to set out on this trip in the morning or in the evening to avoid a host of eager tourists which flock there in the daytime.

The beauty of the city is absolutely ethereal when you savour it near the ocean. In this case you can use one of three renowned cable cars – Lautra, Bika and Gloria. The latter is a special funicular which has been carrying passengers for more than one century. The authentic interior of the cable car remains intact: the windows are decorated with wooden frames and tiny vent panes and instead comfortable soft seats you will still see long benches. The final destination of this funicular is the viewing area which shows the unrivalled vistas of Lisbon, like, for instance, the snow-white houses covered with terracotta tiles.

Viaggiando su un tram lungo il leggendario percorso numero 28, è possibile vedere le principali attrzioni turistiche di Lisbona. Lautra, Bika e Gloria sono tre funicolari di Lisbona che ti faranno conoscere il fascino della città vicino all’oceano. La funicolare Gloria è un ascensore speciale, che trasporta passeggeri da oltre un secolo. To see Lisbon and fall in love with “azulejos” The name of this art varies from language to language, but the Portuguese take pride in their traditional form of ceramic tilework which has become their cultural highlight. The ornate tiles, covered with intricate patterns and depictions of diverse scenes, were brought to Portugal by the Arabs during the colonisation of the Iberian Peninsula.

The lovely tiles with the splendid icing contribute significantly to the cosy charm of Lisbon. In addition to their aesthetic impact, “azulejos” are also necessary for the practical purpose. The tiles preserve the facades of ancient buildings which are at risk of being gradually destroyed by the elements. In the past only affluent nobles could afford to adorn their houses with the renowned “azulejos,” but after the devastating earthquake hit the country in 1755 such tiles emerged on the houses of ordinary residents.

These elaborately patterned glazed tiles have gained massive popularity and now they are sold in different variations as souvenirs, for instance, table mats or magnets. Marvellous ceramic pictures are going like hot cakes and their price rivals the cost of canvases created by acclaimed artists. It goes without saying, that there are numerous “inventive” tourists who are reluctant to squander money. So, in order to go home with this desirable souvenir, they simply steal tiles from facades.

Ethereal lightness embodied in “Innocentia” dresses

he latest collection “Innocentia divina” features the classy wedding gowns with unique individuality. This season the team of gifted professionals, who work on every creation of the exclusive brand, resolved to unleash their imagination and were empowered by the art of improvisation.

It took a bit more than two months for the designers and constructors of the brand to breathe life into the new collection “Innocentia divina.” The team was trying hard to create filmy dresses free from heavy base fabrics. The collection in its entirety is literally woven from the finest transparent nets of various nude hues and exclusive luxurious lace. The interesting and painstaking process of work gradually enabled the designers to come up with the unique greyish-violet hue which toned in with the traditional cappuccino and ivory colours which are so popular with brides.

“People like the fact that their dresses are not similar to someone else’s, that they possess some outstanding uniqueness,” Oleg, the co-owner of the company, shares his inferences.

Starting with 2018 the plan to release two collections by “Innocentia” per year is in the pipeline. In this magazine you will have a chance to admire 16 elegant dresses from the collection “Innocentia divina” and next autumn you will be entranced by the fresh designs and new graceful silhouettes.

“It is needless to say, that the classic bridal fashion is all the rage, but a lot of clients tend to find it mundane and uninspiring. So, to steer clear of this monotony we offer a

dizzying array of novel experimental designs. We deliberately make them a bit daring, add intriguing transparency and create unique silhouettes,” says Aleksander, the chief director of the company.

As for loyal connoisseurs of the classic bridal designs of impeccable quality, Innocentia will be releasing 25 wedding gowns per year in this segment.

“The main priority was given to sparkle, since in the previous season it had met strong consumer demand. The dresses laden with the shimmering embroidery had been selling like hot cakes,” shares the chief designer Anastasiia.

That’s why in the new season the majority of dresses by “Innocentia” are lavishly adorned with sparkling decorations. The latest collection features a lot of hand-made elements since hand embroidery endows every gown with its exclusive and unparalleled charm.

“We used the most expensive lace available and were brave enough to unleash our imagination and pour our souls into every dress. As a rule designers are going out of their way to stay within the allocated budget, but our team was in luck, since we were given free rein in everything. There were no constraints because we were united by the mutual aspiration to see the best result,” Anastasiia says with pride.

Only genuine silk was used to create the lining of every dress, which, in turn, helped to preserve the delicate and filmy structure of every gown.

Те платья, которые имели мерцание, заказывали на ура», - рассказывает главный дизайнер, Анастасия. Именно поэтому, в новом сезоне многим платьям «Innocentia» подарила блеск. Тут много ручной работы, поскольку именно вышивка придает изделиям эксклюзивности. «Мы использовали самые дорогие кружева, которые только смогли достать и не экономили на фантазии, - с гордостью продолжает Анастасия, - часто креативные команды стараются не выходить за рамки бюджета, нам же дали волю во всем. Тут не было ограничений, главное, чтобы получился классный результат». Для коллекции «Innocentia divina» использовали подкладки исключительно из натурального шелка. Такие изделия выглядят более деликатно, очень нежная и тонкая ткань не перебивает ту прозрачность, которую создатели изящных образов стремились оставить.

Sulla nuova collezione «Innocentia divina» i designer hanno lavorato più di due mesi. Il team ha cercato di creare gli abiti traslucidi senza i tessuti troppo pesanti. Nella collezione del 2019, sono state usate le reti di varie tonalità e le guipure costose. Nel processo di lavoro, i designer hanno introdotto una nuova tonalità - Grigio-Viola e, naturalmente, non hanno dimenticato i colori preferiti delle spose – Ivory e Cappuccino.

“Alle persone piace che i loro abiti non assomiglino agli altri e hanno una personalità unica” -condivide le sue osservazioni il co-proprietario della società, Oleg.

Dal 2018, Innocentia progetta di produrre non una collezione all’anno, ma due piccole. In questo catalogo ci sono 16 abiti eleganti «Innocentia divina» e in autunno sarete sorpresi da una nuova collezione molto raffinata.

Questi abiti richiedono tanto lavoro manuale, perché hanno un ricamo che da la esclusività ai prodotti.

«Abbiamo usato il merletto più costoso e non abbiamo risparmiato sulla nostra fantasia. Spesso i team creativi cercano di non andare oltre il budget, invece noi eravamo liberi. Non avevamo nessuna restrizione, la cosa principale era di ottenere un risultato interessante» - continua a raccontare Anastasia.

Per la collezione «Innocentia divina» abbiamo usato il rivestimento solo in seta naturale. Tali prodotti sembrano molto delicati, un tessuto molto tenero non interrompe la trasparenza che i creatori hanno cercato di realizzare.

“The time when we worked on the collection “Prague” was kind of experimental for the entire team. We ventured to use more expensive materials than we used before and, if the truth be told, we were a bit apprehensive because we weren’t able to predict the result, we didn’t know whether or not the expenses would pay off in the end. Our investment rose abruptly, so at that time we afforded to make only three dresses,” recalls the chief director Aleksander.

Era anche un po’ spaventoso, perché non eravamo sicuri di ottenere i profitti. Gli investimenti aumentano drasticamente, quindi in quel momento abbiamo realizzato solo 3 vestiti», - ricorda Alessandro, il coproprietario della marca «Innocentia».

“I really wanted “Innocentia” to stand out from the array of wedding brands. I had a burning desire to create something absolutely novel and enthralling.

Only by making something outstanding was it possible for us to be noticed and acclaimed. People like it when their dresses are not similar to someone else’s, when they possess the unrivalled individuality,” adds Oleg, the co-owner of the company.

Once the team of the trademark “Innocentia” had realised that many foreign countries offered strong consumer demand for exclusive gowns and in that case the price faded into triviality, they decided to act. So, quite soon the world saw the exquisite collections of wedding gowns under the above mentioned brand.

“After our second luxury collection had been released almost all our clients started telling us to separate the brand, since the difference in price was tangible and inexplicable. So, that was a rational step and that’s how the new brand “Innocentia divina” was born to astonish our pretty clients in new foreign countries.”

Dopo che il team di «Innocentia» ha visto che in molti paesi c’è una richiesta molto alta di abiti esclusivi, e la questione del valore era una questione secondaria, abbiamo deciso di agire e in un breve periodo il mondo ha visto le nuove collezioni di abiti da sposa unici e speciali.

«Dopo che abbiamo realizzato la seconda collezione, quasi tutti i nostri clienti hanno affermato la necessità di creare un marchio, dal momento che gli abiti erano più costosi ed è stato un passo logico», - continua Alessandro. È lì che è nato il nuovo marchio «Innocentia divina», creato per conquistare i nuovi paesi.
