My name is Mia Mackie and I am 14 years old.
This is my 9th year in the Reno Multiple 4-H Club. I have a cow calf pair, heifer and a steer. This year I have had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and got to improve my skills. My favorite part of 4-H is public speaking. It gives me a chance to tell everyone about the things that interest me.
My market steers name is BlackJack. He weighs about 1275 and should finish out at about 1325. I have taken BlackJack to lots of shows this spring.
He sells on June 11 at 3:00pm at the Maple Creek Rodeo Grounds. Come early to look at the steer and have a visit. We will have coffee and donuts before the sale. I have a butcher date booked at Ranch House Meats in Shaunavon and will deliver him. Hope to see you at the sale.

This year I wrote my speech on going showing and made it all the way to provincials and got an honorable mention. I have had a lot of fun this year and have been working hard on my heifer and steer.
This year I have a Heifer named WBHR LADYLIKE 1L, but I call her Charlotte and a steer named Hillbilly Hippie.
Hillbilly Hippie is a big steer that will fill your freezer. He weighs over 1500 lbs. He makes me look pretty little but he is really quiet and loves to be scratched.

I have a White Angus steer this year named Steery Steering Wheel. He is the best! I got him from a friend of ours. He loves to be scratched and brushed. Steery is really fat and will taste great.
Steery will weigh about 1350.
