Project Background: With the development of urban society, the concept of "community" is increasingly mentioned and has become a new place for urban residents to live and create memories. Design Concept: In the face of urban development and upgrading, creating a market community that combines various life functions has become mainstream. The design aims to create a communityoriented marketplace that combines retail, social, and viewing functions to enhance the diversity of the residential area.
COMMUNITY DEMAND
MAPPING The surrounding area of the base is a residential area, but there is a lack of a market nearby, and a large number of residents need to go several kilometers away every day to buy vegetables In addition, many residents expressed that there is no suitable community space around them and there is no space to gather with friends

It's not about the destination, it's about the scenery along the way! Academic/ Personal 2021.09-2021.12 Junior Year Supervisor: Kai Lv Email Adress: 005521@yzu.edu.cn
Project Background: Jingdezhen, located in Jiangxi Province, China, is renowned as the "Porcelain Capital" with a rich history of porcelain production and cultural heritage. The museum is designed to serve as a window to porcelain ar t and culture, aiming to inherit and promote the porcelain culture. Design Concept: The site has a total length of 175 meters. In order to take advantage of this feature, the design aims to create a rich and engaging museum tour route that immerses visitors in a sequence of spaces filled with surprises and inspiration.

DESIGN INTENTION COLLAGE
PORCELAIN MUSEUM
We need to promote local culture by building a museum
We need a porselain museum to pass on the skills of our ancestors
ARCHITECTURAL IMAGE The site is surrounded by mountains and rivers, so in order to integrate the museum into the natural environment, the building volume should be broken and the imitation mountain roof should be used to echo the distant mountains.
ROUTE LAYOUT Due to the narrow and long site, the sequence of museum spaces is particularly important. The design aims to create a rich and engaging museum tour route that immerses visitors in a sequence of spaces filled with surprises and inspiration.
LIGHT PROCESSING The exhibition space needs to comprehensively showcase the local porcelain culture, so the utilization of natural light is important. The museum will introduce ver y soft diffuse light to help tourists appreciate the porcelain.
COURTYARD SPACE The courtyard space will be a very important space for museums. These spaces not only provide opportunities for tourists to interact, but also ser ve as good places to appreciate the mountains and rivers.
Museum is the most direct way I can learn about the local culture

THE RABBIT HOLE
If life has you cornered, welcome to the rabbit hole! Academic/ Personal 2022.02-2022.05 Junior Year Supervisor: Shengcai Li Email Adress: lisc@yzu.edu.cn Project Background: China's rapid urbanization has led to the phenomenon of high-density sprawl, resulting in significant psychological issues among residents. Therefore, this design aims to create emotional sanctuaries for individuals struggling with depression, Design Concept: Research indicates that humans share emotional similarities with rabbits. When feeling over whelmed, humans tend to seek refuge, akin to rabbits retreating into their burrows for emotional healing. Therefore, this design aims to create emotional sanctuaries for individuals struggling with depression, allowing them to find their own "rabbit hole" .

Project Background: Tangwei Village in Dongguan City boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage, With its unique natural resources and advantages for industrial revitalization, it has given birth to a thriving local trend culture industry.
Design Concept: The area along the Changtang River in Tangwei should ser ve as the hub for collective village activities. The aim of this design is to transform this area into a stage that gathers both historical culture and emerging elements, allowing a collision between new industries and old ways of life. It provides the village with a new living scene.
ACIENT VILLAGE WITH NEW STAGE
In Shipai village, most of the villagers are elderly people. It is necessary to preserve the community space needed by the elderly, so that the elderly in the village can continue to engage in activities such as chatting and playing chess.
SHIPAI VILLAGE· PAST
STAGE CREATION
Guangzhou Shipai Village is the largest and longest urban village in Guangzhou, Shipai Village is close to the Pearl River, the former Shipai Village is surrounded by fields mostly alluvial plains.
The site is close to the pond. The waterfront space can be used to create stages to carry the daily activities of tourists and residents.
SHIPAI VILLAGE· NOW
THEME IMPLANTATION
Located in the middle of the bustling Tianhe District, Shipai Village in Guangzhou consists of a dense complex of buildings that extend from the villagers' homesteads, and part of the private plot.
With the new trend of a r t to y s d e v e l o p i n g in the local area, it is necessary to incorporate the theme of it into the building renovation project.
SHIPAI VILLAGE· FUTURE
EXHIBITION SPACE Due to the need to promote emerging cultures in the village, it is necessary to create sufficient exhibition space to showcase the culture of the village .
Young designers need places to show the work,to discuss about creation. Also, young designers need to communicate and create art pieces all together. Young designers need to start the business at the same time. All these could be solved by a showcase stage
The existence of the design will improve the status quo of Shipai Village, improve the living environment of the residents, and at the same time preserve this memory in the hearts of Guangzhou people.
In old villages, the tradition culture is preserved well. Festivals and traditional events are hold every year to celebrate. It is culture heritage which should be continued. All people are gathered to share the memory.
With the new trend of art toys developing, new toys need to be exhibited in order to stimulate the market. New toy exhibitions could also attract investment and stimulate the trading activities.

Project Background: Xishi Bridge ser ves as an important urban image showcase, currently lacking a distinctive style of its own and insufficiently harmonizing with the surrounding Sijing Old Street. Design Concept: There is a need to employ a modern interpretation of traditional construction methods to create a new gateway for the ancient town and rejuvenate its vitality.

ANCIENT CITY STYLE
MEMORY OF THE PAST
The project is located around the ancient town, and the design should reflect the characteristics of Jiangnan Water Town, draw design elements from it, fit the landscape style, and enrich the design connotation.
Xishi Bridge was once a n a rc h b r i d g e t h a t carried the memories of the people of Shanghai. Therefore, it is now necessary to use abstract design techniques to evoke people's memories of past bridges
