WHAT IS XTANDI ?

Xtandi is categorized as an antiandrogen. Antiandrogens are substances that block the effects of testosterone.

Cancer of the prostate depends on the male hormone testosterone or related androgens for its growth. If the amount of androgens are reduced it is possible to slow down or shrink the cancer.

MEDICINE USES : Enzalutamide 40mg is used for the treatment of metastatic castration resistant prostate

cancer (prostate cancer that is resistant to medical or surgical treatments that lower testosterone). This medicine also prevents the androgens from working within the prostate cancer cells.

ZECYTE Abiraterone works by reducing androgen production in the body.

Androgens are male hormones that can promote tumor growth in the prostate gland.

ZECYTE medication is used along with prednisone to treat men with prostate cancer that has spread to other areas of the body and has not responded to surgical treatment that lowers testosterone levels.

ZECYTE Tablets can cause foetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman. ZECYTE Tablets is not

indicated for use in women.

ZECYTE Tablets is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant.

If this drug is used during pregnancy, or if the patient becomes pregnant while taking this drug, apprise the patient of the potential hazard to the foetus and the potential risk for pregnancy loss.

Erlonat (Erlotinib) is a kinase inhibitor which is primarily used to treat cell lung cancer, or pancreatic cancer when combined with a certain other medicine. It works by inhibiting growth to adjacent tissues in the body so that the cancerous cells slow down, allowing the patient a better environment to recover and fight the cancer naturally.

Uses: Erlonat 150mg tablet is used in the treatment of pancreatic cancer and
