What Is HIV?








Danavir 600 (Darunavir Tablets)


Darunavir is a protease (PRO-teeayz) inhibitor. Darunavir is an antiviral medication that prevents human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from multiplying in your body. Darunavir is used to treat HIV, the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome Uses Danavir is used in the treatment of HIV infectionHow it works Danavir belongs to a class of drugs called protease inhibitors. It binds to and inhibits the activity of protease enzyme of HIV activity,


thereby interfering with the multiplication and spread of HIV infection in the body.Common side effects Numbness, Rash, Drowsiness, Diarrhoea, Altered taste, Fat accumulation, Increased glucose level in blood, Loss of strength, Stomach pain, Tingling sensation, Pain, Tingling sensation of extremity, Vomiting



DUOVIR (Lamivudine and Zidovudine Tablets)


Duovir is used as part of a regimen of antiretroviral medications to treat HIV. Each Duover pill contains 150 mg of lamivudine and 300mg of zidovudine. At least one other antiHIV medication must be coadministered with duovir to prevent HIV from progressing to AIDS. Some patients taking Duovir have reported the following side effects:  headache  rash  nausea  malaise and fatigue


 diarrhea  anorexia  vomiting  chills  abdominal pain  dyspepsia  lactic acidosis  fever  anemia  neutropenia  thrombocytopenia



Instgra (Dolutegravir Tablets 50mg)


Dolutegravir belongs to a class of drugs known as integrase inhibitors. It blocks the virus from growing and infecting more cells. Dolutegravir is used with other HIV medications to help control HIV infection. It helps to decrease the amount of HIV in your body so your immune system can work better. Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur: Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue; unusual


hoarseness); change in the amount of urine produced; fever, chills, or persistent sore throat; mouth sores or blisters; muscle or joint aches; redness or swelling of the eyes; shortness of breath; symptoms of liver problems (eg, dark urine, loss of appetite, pale stools, severe or persistent nausea or vomiting, stomach pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes).



X-VIR (Entecavir Tablets 0.5mg)


X-VIR is used to treat long-term hepatitis B infection. Hepatitis B is an infection of the liver caused by the hepatitis B virus. Long-term infection can cause liver damage, rarely liver cancer, and liver failure. IN X-vir Entecavir salt is used, Entecavir helps to decrease the amount of hepatitis B virus in your body. It is unknown if this medication lowers your chance of getting liver cancer or liver damage. Entecavir is an antiviral that belongs to a class of drugs known as hepatitis B virus nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors.


Entecavir is not a cure for hepatitis B. It does not prevent the spread of the virus to others through sexual contact or blood/body fluid contamination (such as sharing used needles). Treating HBV infection in certain patients. Entecavir is a nucleoside analogue. It works by reducing the amount of HBV in the blood. It also helps prevent the HBV from multiplying and infecting new liver cells.
