ABOUT 16 TECH INNOVATION DISTRICT
The 16 Tech Innovation District is a growing destination for innovation and entrepreneurship and a driver of the tech enablement of the life-sciences and advanced manufacturing industries key to Indiana’s economy. Connected to diverse neighborhoods in downtown Indianapolis and intentionally resourced with facilities and programs to foster innovation, 16 Tech is home today to three buildings with 200+ innovation related entities that employ more than 800 people. Over the next ten years, 16 Tech is projected to grow to 13 mixed-use buildings and create 3,000+ jobs.
ABOUT 16 TECH COMMUNITY CORPORATION
16 Tech Community Corporation is responsible for the physical and programmatic development of the 16 Tech Innovation District and is on a mission to create an inclusive innovation community for Indianapolis. We guide our work through the following values.
WHO OWNS 16 TECH?
Formed in 2015, 16 Tech Community Corporation (16TCC) is the nonprofit (501c3) landowner responsible for the 16 Tech Innovation District. As part of its work, 16TCC attracts private capital and developers to build and operate specialized facilities.
1. AMP STAGE & CENTRAL SEATING
Capacity 250-450
The open-air space includes the usage of the stage, reservation of tables around the stage, two wireless handheld mics, 50 chairs, and 10 cocktail tables.
3. AMP ENCLAVE
Capacity 150
2. AMP SOFT SEATING
Capacity 30-75
Located adjacent to the bar, the public soft seating can be reserved for happy hours and networking events. AMP soft seating can be paired with the AMP Stage and Central seating.
The semi-private room includes speakers with a wired portable microphone, a projector on the center wall, 50 chairs, and 10 cocktail tables.

4. CLASSROOM
Capacity 25-30
Classroom includes 30 minutes of set up and tear down time, a TV with steaming capabilities (Airtame) or HDMI hookup, 2 whiteboards with markers.
5. STANDARD MEETING ROOMS
Capacity 4-12
The private rooms include 30 minutes of set up and tear down time, TV with steaming capabilities (Airtame) or HDMI hookup, 1 whiteboard with markers.
6. PITCH BLEACHERS & LOWER CAFE
Capacity 30-100
The social space includes 30 minutes of set up and tear down time, a mobile TV.
