Building Tour First Wednesday of the month 10am, £5 Our building tours take place on the first Wednesday of each month. To keep it fresh we focus on a different aspect of the building for each tour. In September we'll be taking a closer look at our WWI memorial board and the memorial board in our archive (believed to be from St Patrick's church). We'll discuss historic memorial services and the role Holy Trinity had in keeping local memories alive.
Memory Walks Thursday 28th September: High Street East Thursday 9th November: Ashbrooke Our Memory Walk is an opportunity to take a nostalgic journey through Sunderland's rich history from the seated comfort of our vestry. This month, we present a special recollection event focused on Sunderland's first step back in time and immerse yourself in the stories and memories that shaped these cherished landmarks.
Walk Old Sunderland First Thursday of the month, 10:30-11:30, FREE This monthly walk around Old Sunderland takes in different landmarks each time, starting and ending at Holy Trinity. You'll have a chance to chat, walk and learn with our award winning volunteer guides.

Quest for the Lunar Keys: Dungeons and Dragons Adventure Saturday 28th October 12-2pm, £1. Ages 11-16 At the end of a distant galaxy there lies BOB a huge creature of mass destruction: a slimy monster that’s been acting as a black hole and destroying local asteroid belts and planets. Sadly, the galaxy’s most competent heroes have all been evaporated by BOB the Big Old Blob. To safely reach BOB’s territory you must first find three keys scattered across the lands these will ensure he doesn’t swallow you the second you go near him. Our Young Ambassador volunteers have designed characters, maps, imagery and more to make sure your Dungeon Master has wild stories to help you tell. Beginners friendly, with lots of chances to ask questions and make mistakes.
Seasonal Family Fun Pumpkin Carving Saturday 28th October, 10am-12pm, £2 per child Head on down to Seventeen Nineteen to work as a family on your very own Pumpkin! We'll have aprons for children, family friendly tools (and we’ll take care of all the pumpkin guts!) You'll leave with a pumpkin to be proud of! It's a great opportunity to come together as a family and get creative. We cant wait to see what you come up with! From traditional funny face carvings to stars and bats, you are guaranteed to have lots of laughs.
