If the world needs more cowboys... ...what better place to start than in our own back yard? We asked our friend - and local legend - Brody Cress some getting-to-know-you questions. We hope you enjoy his answers! What movie do you wish your life was like? Top Gun. I wish I could fly planes— that would be sweet! It would save me on some of the all-night drives to get to the next rodeo. What long shot have you taken that really paid off? When I was a senior in high school, I drove myself to Stephenville, Texas and showed up at a Tarleton State University Rodeo practice because the coach wouldn’t return my calls. After practice he offered me a full-ride rodeo scholarship. That opportunity set up my rodeo career and gave me the opportunity to get a master’s degree.

gather to not only sell Cheyenne, but to create community. We are forever Cheyenne Proud. These fabulous agents each bring special gifts and beloved organizations they care for deeply… and with every one of them, our commitment to making our little corner of the world a better place grows. We LOVE seeing the good work in so many

ways right in our own back yard!

What three events made the biggest impact on who you are today? 1. Wyoming State Champion Creed Speaker—gave me the ability to speak in front of people and think on my feet 2. Three Wyoming State Wrestling Championships--made me realize hard work, focus, and selfreliance pays off 3. Getting a rodeo scholarship to Tarleton State University--gave me a backup plan once I’m done rodeoing

would you have them do? Without a doubt, they have to attend Cheyenne Frontier Days!

What do you do for fun? When we get some downtime while we’re rodeoing, I like to golf. What signs make you think someone will go on to be successful? Being humble, thankful, and hardworking. What is the most unusual but fun experience you’ve had? I was dropped into the arena at the Calgary Stampede on a cable from the top of the grandstands. What is the best part of your day? Waking up every day and knowing I’m living my dream—riding bucking horses. You appear to be fearless: what scares you? I can’t swim so large bodies of water and spiders. If you wanted to give a tourist the local flavor of where you are from, what

This talented, educated and experienced group of real estate professionals is fully dedicated to their clients and community!

What’s the most useful skill you’ve ever learned? Bronc Riding would be the most useful because it’s given me the ability to make a living, but I can also weld, shoe horses, and build furniture if times ever get hard. What is one small thing a person can do each day that greatly improves their life? Eat right and exercise—health and wellness are so important. What was your favorite part of growing up here? The small-town atmosphere. I’ve had amazing teachers, coaches and family friends who have supported me in 4-H, FFA, wrestling and rodeo. I’m the product of a lot of great people pitching in with my parents to get me where I am today. If you could be a champion at another sport, what would it be? When I was in high school I made the choice to rodeo in college over wrestling so I would like to be a champion Wrestler. What was a random compliment someone gave you that really stuck in your memory? A very successful bronc rider told me at my first circuit finals, I rode well enough that I was fixing to have a tax problem.
