Fishing Haven: Prime ANgling Spots:

Eastern Wyoming and Western Nebraska offer several great fishing spots for anglers. Here are some popular locations in the region:

Glendo Reservoir, Wyoming: Located in southeastern Wyoming, Glendo Reservoir is known for its excellent walleye and bass fishing. It covers over 12,000 acres and has numerous boat ramps and fishing access points.

GRAYROCKS RESERVOIR, WY

Situated northeast of Glendo Reservoir, Grayrocks Reservoir is another popular fishing destination. It offers opportunities to catch walleye, bass, catfish, and trout.

North Platte River, WY & NE: The North Platte River is a renowned trout fishery that runs through both Wyoming and Nebraska. The stretch below Gray Reef Dam, near Casper, Wyoming, is known for its worldclass trout fishing.

KEYHOLE RESERVOIR, WY:

Located in northeastern Wyoming near Moorcroft, Keyhole Reservoir is a large impoundment on the Belle Fourche River. It offers fishing for walleye, catfish, bass, crappie, and northern pike.

LAKE MCCONAUGHY, NE:

Known as “Big Mac,” Lake McConaughy is the largest reservoir in Nebraska. It offers a variety of fish species, including walleye, catfish, bass, and trout. The lake also has numerous camping and boating facilities.

BOX BUTTE RESERVOIR, NE:

Located near Hemingford, Nebraska, Box Butte Reservoir is a popular fishing spot known for its walleye, catfish, and crappie. It also has campgrounds and boat ramps.

LAKE OGALLALA, NE:

Situated below Lake McConaughy, Lake Ogallala provides opportunities for fishing walleye, catfish, bass, and trout. It is a smaller lake but offers a tranquil fishing experience.
