ONE You’ve Heard What I’ve Said, Do You See? You’ve heard what I’ve said do you see? You’ve said and I’ve heard do I see? I’ve heard and seen do I say? You’ve heard and I’ve seen do you say?
We receive and transfer information through eyes, ears and mouth. However, whether the meaning heard by others are the one we desire to convey? Whether the transformed language seen by us can be imagined by the other side?
Design Concept （1） Process-Video Experiment
I boldly fantasy that we can conduct thinking-tothinking communication. Then, I made a video, and took a pipe as the channel so as to directly transmit what I see, hear and say to the other’s eyes, ears and mouth.

I guess that we can hear other people’s heart like doctors who utilize a stethoscope to hear the condition of patient. In this way, our voice can be clearly understood by others like a trumpet.

3D Model Design Concept -2 I will connect the model of lip with a thin pipe. This originates from my fantasy that each of us is a computer. In this way, we can remove multiple barriers in the communication, and make exchanges of thinking with convenient data cable.
TWO
Line-drawing Line-drawing art occupies an important position in Chinese painting. Chinese painting emphasizes the vivid expression, advocates simpleness, and pursues the verve of things. The shape of lines is the reflection of the focus on simpleness. Thus, it is quite different from the three-dimensional shapes in western drawing. I tried to create the line-drawing with the silver wire so as to reflect the charm in jewelry.

THREE GRAY
After experiencing years of exam-oriented primary and secondary education, I generate an idea that everything has a correct answer. However, my university offers me with multiple inspirations, and meanwhile, my major inspires me to explore more possibilities, which brings a great shock to me. In fact, things are not only right or wrong, colors are not only black or white, and life shall not have one kind of right model.Life should be different levels of gray between them, rather than the two extremes of black and white.

FOUR CAGE
As for most Chinese people, however, there are not so many possibilities. It seems that the life has been set and every person has to live according to the same pattern. Apparently, a happy life can only have one way, namely studying hard, going to a good university, getting married, bearing and raising children, and hold high hopes for the children…… People’s each age is arranged. Once a people generate other ideas, they will be regarded as heterogeneous species. This is a kind of pressure from family and society.
I try to disabuse the parent’s i d e a o f s e e k i n g s e c u r i t y, yet the concepts formed for several decades have already been deep-rooted. In the eyes of parents, this is the protection for you, a guarantee of stable life. However, I don’t want to work and live for seeking just stability. Thus, this protection turns into a fence limiting me.

FIVE Caramel Caramel is like a kind of magic food. It is the product of sugar after heating, which require accurate heat because overmuch heat will make it paste, while less heat will not make sugar form caramel. The characteristics of such material always make me reflect a lot and think about how to grasp the principle of “degree� when doing things.

Listen to the wish
I created the works because of wishing tree of Yoko Ono Lennon. In Japan, people like to write their own wishes on the cards and then hang in a tree in order to seek blessing. I believe that wishes have power, so I may write my wishes in a metal card, and make the card into earrings and then send them to others, so that others can feel my power.
Production method Experiment 1 I write wishes on the silver piece and make them into earring. In this way, when wearing this earring, you may feel that your wish or other’s wishes for you are slowly spoken in your ear.

SIEVEN
Three Sacrificial Livestock
Material  Resin Bone meal Chinese sacrificial culture usually takes fresh life like pig, cattle and sheep as the tribute, so as to pray for peace and blessing. I have been hoping to reinterpret this sacrificial culture in another mode. I mix bone meal made from pig, cattle and sheep with resin, roll over into shapes of pigs as the decoration, and adopt sacrifice to commemorate sacrifice.

Process By utilizing zodiac lantern lighted up on the fifteenth day of the first moon, I roll over the model of pig, cattle and sheep with silica gel. Then, I reverse mould by mixing bone meal of pig, cattle and sheep with resin.
EIGHT
Installation People tend to fear life will disappear when facing diseases and life. And child is another name for the new. Whenever I see children, it seems that I see the desire for life. When I was a child, I liked drinks very much, while I often needed intravenous drip because I was weak. By combining them, I interpreted my desire for the life is always like a child.
