SITE ANALYSIS Sun analysis Western exposure is the biggest difficulty of this site, but the great view, TAMSUI River estuary, is also at the west. The design need to deal with both questions .

Human & bike foot traffic analysis This site is at the end of the travling route of TAMSUI. Furthermore, Human and Bikes travel together at the river bank . We need to extend the travel route and combine with the culture park beneath.

External views analysis Surrounding by the TAMSUI reiver and the culture park. Pull in the view of the estuary at the river side. Also, wild openings can advertise festivals on it to attrack tourist to visit. Otherhands, the park impacted the cover materils of the center to Integration into neighborhood.

Market plaza being an important role to link the TAMSUI culture park with the historical sites along the TAMSUI river bank. The path also lead the visiters down into the restoration zone and the river. In the other hand, the vanishing edge pool link the water with TAMSUI River create a great view for the restaurant on the ground floor.

Travelers will be guide into a dark room called The Reflection Room. In this room, visiters can only see the exhibits by the soft light rely on the long tunnel patio. I wish to create a Dark and Narrow space to let the visiters to rethink, to reflect the history and the condition now happened in TAMSUI. Lights will also lead visiters to third floor to go on the tour.
