ECO SMART mode The ECO Smart operating mode, thanks to the specially developed and integrated software, reduces the electricity costs without limitation to the amount of hot water or the user’s comfort. The software integrated into the electronic control, similarly to an artificial intelligence, independently tracks and memorizes the habits of users creating a time schedule and managing the appliance’s operation in such a way that would provide hot household water exactly when it’s needed. The incorporated algorithm lets you make quick changes to the time schedule or even take the odd unplanned shower. 1, Hygienic Certification The TESY electric water heaters have a Hygienic Certification for storage of potable water, in accordance with European Directive 98/83 EU. The products preserve the chemical, physical and biological quality of the potable water, keeping it pure and healthy. 2. High pressure tests The water tank of the TESY electrical water heaters is tested at a 16 bar pressure under the standard IEC60335-2-21 and the European standard EN 60335-2-21, The usual operative pressure does not exceed 8 bar. 3. 2 levels of protection The TESY electric water heaters have 2 levels of electrical and thermal protection through theirs thermo-regulators according to the European Safety Standards. 4. Safety valve for releasing overpressure The safety valve is a part of the standard equipment of every single electric water heater.
Reliability – a guarantee for failsafe operation and long useful life of the appliance 1. CrystalTech coating of the water tank Modern technology for application of the CrystalTech coating to the water tank. The coating ensures reliable corrosion protection, high degree of water purity, extended useful life and failsafe operation of the water heater. 2. Anode protector for safeguarding the class-ceramic coating and provision of trouble-free work Magnesium anode protector: 50% longer useful life. Easy to dismantle and replace. 3. Plasma-arc welding The water tanks of the TESY water heaters are manufactured with the high-tech method of plasma-arc welding, which ensures homogenous structure of the finished weld and high resistance to mechanical impacts. 4. Flange for easy cleaning and maintenance of the product 5. Stainless steel hot water tube, which doesn’t disintegrate in time and retains the volume of hot water throughout the appliance’s useful life. TESY disposes of modern and well-equipped laboratories for various tests as necessary in the development of new and the upgrading of existing products: tests for safety, reliability, energy efficiency, functional tests, etc. In addition, TESY is a member of the Bulgarian Standardization Institute and has representatives in a number of technical boards in charge of various fields of standardization.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF ELECTRIC WATER HEATERS Since 26 September 2015, all TESY water heaters are equipped with energy efficiency labels in conformity with a new ErP (energy related Products) Directive of the European Union. The energy efficiency labels attached to the various domestic appliances enable the consumer to take an informed decision when making a purchase. They contain information about the consumed electric power on an annual basis, the type of the appliance and a number of its other features.
Energy label The energy label has an equal outer appearance in all EU member states and is language neutral. The information is conveyed through pictograms, which substitute the text in the different languages within the Community. The black arrow shows the energy efficiency class of the specific appliance under the EU Directive. The color arrows with letters specify the different classes of energy efficiency. Dark green corresponds to the most energy efficient class, whereas red identifies the class with the lowest energy efficiency.

Thanks to the energy label, the consumer can now choose an appliance of the highest possible energy efficiency, thus saving on electricity and water bills and contributing to the protection of environment through reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and the use of less resources like electric power and water.
Parameters to be stated only for the electric water heaters ANNUAL CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRIC POWER in kWh per year or AEC (Annual electricity consumption) specified in kWh/annum (parameter from the energy label) This is the consumption of electric power on an annual basis, as measured in laboratory conditions. The parameter is comparable for all electric water heaters, sold on the territory of the European Union and may help you calculate the approximate difference in your annual expenses for electric power, if you used different brands of electric water heaters. The annual electricity consumption (AEC) can only be compared between appliances of brands with identical drain profiles (M, L, XL, etc.). MANUFACTURER-SET TEMPERATURE FOR ECONOMY / COMFORT OPERATIONAL MODE - Tout of box (parameter from the product leaflet) In some models of electric water heaters, the most energy efficient mode of work providing sufficient amount of hot water is when the temperature is set to a level, which is lower than the maximal admissible one. Such a mode can be reached at a temperature of 65℃ or even 60℃. It is this temperature enabling the attainment of the highest energy efficiency class that is designated as Tout of box. MAXIMAL TEMPERATURE, AT WHICH THE ELECTRIC WATER HEATER’S THERMOSTAT CAN BE SET - Tmax (parameter from the product leaflet) Apart from Tout of box, the manufacturer is also obliged to declare the maximal temperature, at which the thermostat can be set (Tmax), and which sometimes differs from Tout of box. AMOUNT OF WARM (MIXED) WATER AT 40˚С - V40 [L] (parameter from the product leaflet) As it is perfectly possible two similar in size electric water heaters of different brands to provide substantially different amount of warm (mixed) water for domestic use, the European regulating authority requires from manufacturers to state a parameter measured in identical laboratory conditions and using a strictly prescribed methodology. V40 is measured in litres (L) and shows the amount of warm (mixed) water with a temperature of 40℃, which can be drained from a switched off electric water heater after the water in the appliance has been heated to the declared Tout of box For water heaters with volume capacity of up to 36 litres, this parameter is not to be specified. V40 is a comparable parameter, if declared with one and the same Tout of box. What is it that affects the amount of hot water provided by an electric water heater? Inarguably, the net volume of the water tank is of significance for the amount of HHW, (hot household water), but in practice it is not the only factor. Apart from the appliance’s volume capacity, the quantity of hot water very much depends on how fast the incoming cold water is mixed with the hot water already in the heater during use. This process can be optimally managed by an inbuilt nozzle with PISTON effect. Its function is to let the cold water pass through, without allowing its fast mixing with the hot water. The electrical water heaters equipped with the innovative PISTON effect ensure more hot water and comfort. Another important factor affecting the amount of hot water is the temperature, at which the heater works. The water heaters ensure the greatest amount of HHW when their thermostats are set to the maximal temperature.
Parameters to be stated only for the indirect heated storage water heaters STATIC THERMAL INSULATION-RELATED LOSSES FOR 24 HOURS - S [W] (parameter from the energy label) For the indirect heated storage water heaters, a parameter must be stated that shows the energy losses through the appliance’s insulation for a period of 24 hours, measured at strictly defined laboratory conditions. ACTUAL VOLUME CAPACITY OF THE WATER TANK [L] (parameter from the energy label) The manufacturer must state the exact volume that the water heater can store.

The water heaters of the ANTICALC series have been developed for failsafe, long-term and reliable operation in households supplied with hard, highly mineralized and/or aggressive water. The enlarged area of the heating element and its smooth surface substantially slow down and limit the process of lime scale deposit. The useful life of the ANTICALC appliances is additionally extended by the perfectly handled processes of overheating, achieved through precise capillary control. The appliances of this series work noiselessly and are easy to service, as they don’t require preliminary draining of the water. The moisture-proof switch offers two degrees of power use and selection of the heating speed, which affects the load of the power network at home. The ANTICALC series includes modes allowing universal assembly – both vertical and horizontal.

The water heaters of the BiLight series have been developed in conformity with the highest European safety standards and quality requirements. They integrate innovative patented solutions devised by TESY’s product development teams with special focus on energy efficiency and high performance and the ultimate goal of providing larger volumes of heated water, trouble-free operation and long-term useful life of the appliance. INSUTECH is a specially developed technology for heavy-duty insulation. It incorporates a unique solution for eliminating the thermostat between the water tank and the on-wall mounting bracket, which reduces energy losses by 16%. The technology also provides for the uniform distribution of high-density insulation. The patented structure of the inlet water nozzle creates the so called PISTON effect ensuring up to 15% more hot water through prevention of the uncontrollable mixing of the incoming cold water and the already heated ready to use hot water. All water heaters of the BiLight series are equipped with a handy external thermoregulator for smooth temperature setting and a unique two-colour indication device, which visualizes the two operating modes: red light for the HEATING mode and blue light for the READY-TO-USE mode. Low-volume and compact in size, the water heaters of the BiLight Compact series are suitable for installation at small and narrow spaces close to the point of use of hot domestic water. Depending on the room interior and the existing utilities, such appliances can be installed under or above the flow regulating mixing tap. The developed low-volume electric water heaters have capacities ranging from 6 to 15 L. They cover the consumer’s specific needs depending on the frequency and duration of hot water use in service rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, public venues, etc. The electric low-volume water heaters BiLight Compact are equipped with convenient external PUSH-PUSH thermoregulator for smooth water temperature setting. The dial of the appliance features ECO mode, the selection of which ensures energy efficient operation. The inbuilt signature twocolour indication device BiLight visualizes the „HEATING” (red light) or „READY-TO-USE” (blue light) modes. The 10 L and 15 L models intended for installation above the point of use contain the patented inlet water nozzle, which increases the volume of hot water with up to 22% thanks to the nozzle with PISTON Effect. The models foreseen for installation under the point of use feature a flat base for on-floor placement, which makes wall drilling unnecessary. The electric water heaters of the BiLight Compact series are protected from corrosion by CrystalTech coating providing for extended useful life and trouble-free operation.
