The age of identity

The six things I pursue as a designer

The age of selling well-made goods has gone. Until the

1. Detect: Detection is done by observation and endless interest.

20th century, a beautiful product with good functionality was

2. Philosophical: Philosophy sets up a guideline before creativity

acknowledged as a valuable product. Electronic products

is demonstrated. Consistent and sustainable branding cannot

of Sony and mobile phones of Nokia were the examples.

be done without philosophy.

However, as functional and aesthetic elements became basic elements, people began to buy the philosophy of company who manufactures the product. Consumers go wild with Apple, Nike and Muji because they look for products with their own images projected. Designers should accurately understand the philosophy of the company and transmit brand identity by way of the product. Many people think design as aesthetic

3. Creative: Creativity is the scale that determines the value of a product. It is also the soul of a product. 4. Logical: Logical and rational approach enhances the value of a product because it is long-lasting essential power. 5. Sincere: Consumers trust sincere product. Sincerity sustains sales and ultimately works as a key element in branding. 6. Ethical, eco-friendly: Ethical and moral thinking let the product

work; however, design is the product of awareness that

be environment-friendly. It also becomes a standard in

accommodates both intangibles and tangibles.

decreasing or increasing design. All innovations and problemsolvings should start from ethical and environment-friendly thinking.

- 2010

2011 - 2014

2014 -

Majored in product design and concentrated all three of my internships on product design.

Broadened my horizon through various experiences such as product, furniture, visual, interior and building facade color design based on brand.

Strive to become a designer that can satisfy customer needs based on the brand design strategy of clients and knows how to improve existing issues and designs, while also increasing customer satisfaction by presenting new experiences.

Joined a construction company at which I can experience design in various areas by experiencing various areas such as product, furniture, lighting, architecture, landscaping, etc.

During my three-year experience, I sought to improve the identity of e-Pyunhansesang apartment with certain outcomes. I’ve created my portfolio to break away from the environment of a construction company for an environment where design is more emphasized.

After equipping myself with much experiences and skills that I can acknowledge as a ‘designer’, I would like to become a ‘director’.

You take the blue pill

You take the red pill

My story ends you close the PDF and find whoever you want to believe.

You will “hire” me and Iet’s show to people how deep the design-hole goes.
