The event occurs on the rst Friday of each month, fun and history. The event features the original September through May, and features Six Gun Territory cast members, train rides on local artists selling their works throughout Kirby Farm’s real historic railroad (but watch out downtown and participating businesses for the train robbers!), live entertainment, fun with extended hours. Hands-on art activities carousel rides and more. Meet your childhood and demonstrations for all ages will be heroes, get pictures with the cast members and provided by local non-pro t arts and cultural hear stories from the good-ol’ days. The City of Ocala, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health in Marion County and Feed the Need Garden, Inc., will host a West Ocala Wellness Community Garden Day from 8:30-10:30am at the community garden located at 2200 W Highway 40, between SW 21st and SW 23rd Avenue. Community members are encouraged to attend and replant their crops or start a new garden plot. Plots are available for $10 per year. The goal of the West Ocala Wellness Community Garden is to educate and provide an opportunity for citizens to plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables for their families. Ocala Recreation and Parks has partnered with the North Pole to directly connect Ocala’s good little boys and girls to Santa. You can schedule an evening call from December 8-10 when Santa’s helpers will call your home so your child can speak directly with Mr. or Mrs. Claus! Applications must be submitted by November 30. 6 THE FLORIDA VINTAGE MARKET // NOVEMBER 8 The return of this community pop-up market is happening this month at Cypress & Grove Brewing Co., located at 1001 NW 4th Street in Gainesville. The event will take place from 12-5pm and features a unique shopping experience where you will enjoy a variety of vendors curating some of the best in vintage garments, handmade goods, art, food, local craft beer and more. It’s time for Wind-FM’s 5th Annual Ocala Pet Expo, presented by Maricamp Animal Hospital. The event will feature knowledgeable vendors, demonstrations, pet adoptions and more. Captain Moreland with Ocala Fire Rescue will show o K-9 Gracie’s arson investigation training, and The Soccer Dogs are ready to challenge all the two-legged soccer starts to a match. There will be food for humans as well as treats for animals, and don’t forget to enter your pet into either the Best Trick or Talent, Most Unique or the coveted Cutest Pet contests. The event takes place from 10am-2pm at Tuscawilla Park and raises awareness for pet rescue organizations. It’s time for live music again! Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone from NSYNC will join Bigg Vinny of Trailer Choir, Jared Weeks former Lead singer of Saving Abel and Jared Blake from The Voice (Team Blake Shelton) for a limited concert at the Paddock Mall in Ocala. COVID-19 precautions will be in place to create a comfortable and fun environment for all. The event will take place from 8-11:30pm. Masks will be mandatory to enter the facility and can be removed while seated, eating or drinking. A bar and concessions will be available, and no outside food or beverages will be permitted.
