to the point We are pleased to introduce the newest member of Team FSS

Jessica White

Community Programs Specialist, 355th Force Support Squadron

Have you been to any of our large base events such as Harvest Fest and Winterfest, or a Unite event with your squadron? Jessica White will be taking charge of those going into 2020 and continuing our standard of excellence!

Coming from Misawa Air Base in Japan, Jessica brings tons of experience in both large-scale events and smaller squadron resiliency activities. She holds the top spot amongst her colleagues across 73 Air Force bases when it comes to the amount of funds utilized, and we are thrilled to have her here at DavisMonthan!

So, what is Unite? It is a new Air Force resiliency program implemented to support unit cohesion, teambuilding and morale, and Jessica has many ideas for encouraging conversation and camaraderie. We can’t wait to see how she shapes the program!

Arts & Crafts 14 | 355TH STRIKE MAGAZINE

Join us all month long on Thursday afternoons to learn a variety of new crafting techniques.

National Crafting Month is right around the corner. 355 FSS has plenty of opportunities for you to explore a new, creative outlet. Check out our tips below for ways to celebrate! 1. Try a New Craft Have you been interested in a craft, but haven’t had the time/or drive to practice it? Take time this month to go out and make something beautiful; from knitting to painting, and woodworking to glass blowing, there are so many cool crafts to try, today! 2. Dare to be Bold Don’t be afraid to experiment with color. Using bold pops of color, especially in the springtime, can be a great way to get creative and help you step out of your comfort zone. 3. Show off your Art Trying a new craft can be fun, exciting, but nerveracking. Be brave: share your art projects with your friends and family, enter it in exhibitions and shows, or simply share it on social media. You’ll be surprised to see how supportive your community can be about your new-found hobby.

Visit the Balloon Shop Valentine’s is right around the corner, we have a wide variety of gifts and balloon bouquets for that special someone.
