COMMUNITY PUBLIC SERVICE HALL & LANDSCAPE DESIGN YEAR: 2020 Spring LOCATION: Tianjin Shuishang Park TYPE: Architecture Design ROLE: Individual Work INDEPENDED WROK
In response to urban citizens’ demands for the authenticity of urban parks. This plan provides a kind of ARCHITECTURAL LANDSCAPE SYSTEM for citizens and tourists to rest, watch, eat, party, and meditate in a certain area at different times. Keep it joyful and diverse in activities. Extend the space to a larger site and become a landscape. Can be experienced and used in real life. The VEGETATION PATTERN in the site itself provides a rich spatial potential and spatial intention. This includes NATURAL FORMS such as hard boundaries, diffuse boundaries, the intention of 'gates' and theatres. The site is also located on the boundary between the biggest urban natural park and the residential area. The project introduces people from different directions through SYMBOLIZE the landscape elements, arranging planting and add structures of different scales. Creating a unique spirit of place.

COMMUNITY CENTER & PARK VISITOR CENTER Three structures of different sizes are placed in the site, namely "Building", "Structure", and "Sculpture" (XL, L, M). The three respond to the pure sense of volume and light sensory experience at the same time. XL is the main building, and the double-layer skin is made of polycarbonate panels to visually lighten the outline. Floating in the natural landscape. The volume naturally lifts and touches the ground, introducing activities into the ring. The main function is community affairs processing and community activity center. Culture and education, etc.

LANDSCAPE AND ARCHITECTURE Architecture is in harmony with the landscape. There has volume covering gentle slopes, floating pavilions inserted into the ground, small sculptures and lawns. Shaping a rich senses of vision and activity, constituting the spirit of place.
LANDSCAPE PAVILION
LANDSCAPE SCULPTURE
The function of the structure is a temporary small performance venue. The structural performance responds to the stones in the site. The main supporting structure is wrapped with stone veneer. Small concerts and temporary sitting and staying can take place here.
This is a refined translation of all the NON-WOOD ELEMENTS in the site. It is also a response to all forms of architectural intervention. The small sculptures are polished from stones and resemble Brancusi's sculptures. Become a landmark of the building when viewed from different angles.

Research from chinese traditional landscape painting
YEAR: 2021 Spring (Thesis Project) LOCATION: Yantai City, Shandong Province TYPE: Architecture Design ROLE: Individual Work INSTRUCTOR: Wang Di (didarch_tju@126.com)
CHINESE LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS show a special oriental picture space and painting methods that are different from Western paintings. Such aesthetic inclination and traditional thinking,Which formally rooted in cultural genes and REFLECTED by the influence of lifestyle habits. With its special aesthetic tendency, Chinese landscape painting has become the EMBODIMENT MEDIUM of various traditional Chinese cultures. In the development of landscape painting, experiences s u c h a s " D I S TA N T R E F L E C T I O N M E T H O D " , "LARGE VIEW AND SMALL METHOD", and "THREE DISTANCE METHOD" appeared. Through the deconstruction of the landscape, reached the distance, breadth and penetration of the space. Achieve RICH SUGGESTIVENESS AND IMAGINATION. Therefore, THE SPACE OF CHINESE PAINTING IS A SPACE WHERE EXPERIENCE AND CURRENT PERCEPTION OVERLAP EACH OTHER. In the same way, modern architecture is also experimenting with the transparency of the space. Based on such theoretical research, this case proposes the ORIENTAL ARCHITECTURAL AESTHETICS APPROACH, and uses this as the design logic to design.

Masterplan
Traditional Chinese painting shows a WEAKENING OF PERSPECTIVE. And the way of viewing also emphasizes the MOVEMENT of the observer. The subject (observer) is inside of the object (image). The same difference is also reflected in the PERCEPTION OF GEOGRAPHY. Traditional maps ('yutu' 舆图 ) are OBSERVER-CENTRIC AND PERCEPTUAL.
DIFFERENCES IN GEOGRAPHICAL MAPPING

深远
平远
深远
"The Three-distance Method" refers to the three ways of expression in painting: 高远:Looking up at the towering peaks 平远:Mountains and river have broad vision 深远:Deep and layered complex shapes
THE THEORY RESEARCH OF HILOSOPHY, ART, CARTOGRAPHY AND PAINTING TECHNIQUES
This way of expressing MIXED TIME AND SPACE EXPERIENCE in traditional Chinese painting comes from the initial relationship BETWEEN TIME EXPERIENCE AND ARCHITECTURE. Therefore, the two dimensions of the house are considered to be CLUES OF TIME AND SPACE.
The way to perceive any space node will be AFFECTED BY THE DIRECTION AND SEQUENCE OF ENTRY, which can be expressed as the different shapes of the mountains seen.
ANALYSIS ON ARCHITECTURAL PROTOTYPE
平远 Use traditional landscape painting to express the impression of every RANDOM BROWSING. In the process of experiencing architecture, DIFFERENT HEIGHT CHANGES AND SIGHT SHIFTS will affect the way TIME AND SPACE ACT on the final image composition. Similarly, architecture elements will also PARTICIPATE in the composition of the image. What is formed is a fusion image of architecture and landscape.

SHAREHOUSE
YEAR: 2019 Spring LOCATION: Tokyo, Japan TYPE: Architecture Design ROLE: Individual Work INSTRUCTOR: Zhang Xinnan Wang Di pavilion_artisan@tju.edu.cn didarch_tju@126.com
Tokyo is one of the most densely populated and most constructed modern cities in the world. Behind the prosperous cities, there are also AGING POPULATIONS a n d S O C I A L D I S TA N C I N G A M O N G Y O U N G PEOPLE. NATURAL SPACES AND PUBLIC OPEN SPACES IN CITIES HAVE DISAPPEARED, and similarly, people visit these places less often. This is the combined effect of lifestyle. However, this is not a completely positive change. People need this kind of shared space, whether it is a business or a park. Faced with A LARGE PROPORTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE EXTREMELY HOME AND OFFICE, they can have MORE SPACE TO SHARE WITH THE COMMUNITY AND THE CITY. This case starts from the close relationship of different groups of people, and proposes a new housing system of MIXED LIVING AND COMMUNITY SHARING. By dividing the site, creating shared spaces of different levels and functions. Integrated the street profile and community experience . And equipped with differentiated living units. Through the activities and the accessibility of space, mutual promotion and influence on community relations are achieved.

The interval combines shared space, public space, and private space. Individual rooms are relatively neat. Shared space is more free, and the shared space for residents is mostly for living functions. Some of the more open activities will serve as a transition from internal sharing to community sharing. The maintenance boundary of the building and the natural boundary blur in subtle ways. In the common areas of the building outdoor terraces are separated for the use of the residents.
The living room modules are slightly different in size and spatial structure, but similar in function, integrating a large amount of storage space. They are separated into different use zones.

UNITS AND COMBINATION We have discovered and utilised a MONOLITHIC FORM that is able to interlock itself to form a stable structure WITHOUT THE USE OF NAILS. It consists of the same folding to form its OWN MORTISE AND TENON STRUCTURE. And it is made up of two different combinations that allow for a rich variety of forms.
FEATHER NEST YEAR: 2017 Summer LOCATION: Shanghai, China TYPE: Construction Design ROLE: Team Work (leader) INSTRUCTOR: Feng Lin, Yuan Yiqian
CONSTRUCTION FORM A rich spatial silhouette is created by the variation in the combination of the monoliths. A shift FROM PUBLIC-SEMI-PRIVATE TO PRIVATE. At the same time the height and enclosure of the walls provide a rich experience of sight lines and communication of activities.

FORM GENERATION The tree in the centre of the village is both the largest tree and the centre of spiritual support for the villagers. In conjunction with the topography, an undulating walkway is formed around the tree. Translating the different activities into the height of the path.
We have chosen to respond to the activities and needs of the site with an installation-like structure. Only minor changes and adjustments have been made to the original appearance of the site.
The structure rises and falls, allowing those who experience it to constantly feel the changes under their feet and around them. And there is also good interaction on the ground.
