THE PROPOSAL'S AIMS AND OBJECTIVES As play contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children, the playground is designed to approach the child's perception to play their way. • The Areas of Intervention:
a. Emphasize the school's main gates by timber fencing the front facade. b. Boosting a variety of play patterns by construct three playground elements made of recycled tires. c. Use the concrete leveling to work as open theatre for public use. d. Narrative graffiti that reflects the interactive educational identity of the school. e. Coloring the windows' outer frames in primary colors: Red, Blue and Yellow.

While the child grow, the educational environment comes along as crucial aspect of their emotional development and social well-being. A couple of studies had suggested the reflection of play on promoting healthy child mental development. In light of these considerations, the playground urban intervention designed by BENAA team has been conducted, followed by a construction phase with impressive participation of youth volunteers, local workers and community members of all ages.
