In the northern part, the park borders Tsavo West National Park in Kenya. The park lies about 120km east of Moshi town. It falls into the Mkomazi-Tsavo Ecosystem, which is the second-largest transboundary ecosystem in East Africa, the largest being the famous Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem. Along the Umba River, a number of rare colobus monkeys move within its riverine forests.

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport - Mkomazi National Park - accommodation at Mkomazi Bandas on BB.

Day 2: Exploring the park - including visiting the rhino project which you can’t afford to miss it while you are at Mkomazi Np. Extra Park - will be required, later accommodation at Bandas.

Day 3: After breakfast, you will do an enroute game drive for a few hours before heading back to Kilimanjaro Airport. This will mark the end of the tour.
