February 13, 2015

Your bond dollars are at work! Cheatham will be having an open house, coinciding with Kindergarten Round up, on Thursday, February 19 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They will give tours of their new gym, library, and specialty rooms. Stop by and see how your taxes are benefitting our schools. Cheatham is located at 4725 W. South Mountain.

Three Laveen schools participate in national assessment Three of our schools were selected to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) this year. Desert Meadows administered this assessment to their fourth graders recently. Both Cheatham and Vista will be participating in NAEP testing in the next few weeks. NAEP is the largest continuing and nationally representative assessment of what our nation’s students know and can do in core subjects. Results are used to develop ways to improve education throughout the United States.

The District Dialogue is issued twice monthly.
