Austria Gets the gay thumbs up!
Gay sperm donor wants to see his son
January 1st was real cause for celebration in Austria as a historical law set into place passed by the Austrian Parliament for same sex couples to enter civil partnerships. 174 Lawmakers voted on the bill late December whilst only 64 were against the reform. There is always a hitch to the laws, but one step at a time will do it. The new law bans the adoption of children or artificial insemination for same sex couples. This law is the same in many countries around the world.
A gay man that has donated his sperm to a Lesbian couple was he could have visitation rights to see his son. The Irish Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the man was legally the child’s father and in part because Ireland’s constitution doesn’t recognize the lesbians as a valid family unit. The ruling was a first in Ireland, where homosexuality was outlawed until 1993 and gay couples are denied many rights given to married couples. However a proposed law being debated this month in Irish parliament could turn things around. Too little too late say some, and yet still no legal recognition for the right to be parents.
Venues that are interested in hosting Queer As Talent Season 2 can send a request to queeries@queerastalent. com Season 2 starts in May 2010
The Woman in the Mirror
Scared Gay Tasmanian’s
This poem came to us from Katsomaya, a transgender reader and avid fan of Marble Media, so we thought we would share her personal thoughts. 3SIXTY is about diversity. I look beyond the glass and wonder who she is? Another hollow victory to add to the list, in the wrong place, afraid to be oneself. I project another image, to the detriment of myself. Another year of fighting, hidden under the layers, I curl up on the floor, but does he hear my prayers? Strong for my loved ones, inside torn apart, 90 days to daylight, please no more false starts, the pain runs down my face. So I hate the dark, the woman in the mirror is my soul
A Chilean couple living in Tasmania Australia, fear for their lives so to keep themselves safe they lock themselves in the bathroom every night. Since living there they have had bricks thrown through their windows, and clothes slashed from the complexes community clothes line. In 2005 a study in Tasmania said that the state was the most homophobic and still till today the state hasn’t moved on much at all. The states government has enacted strong anti gay laws, but has not followed up with education programs in schools and the work place.

Marble Media opens the doors to writers and contributors and photographers, to make the magazine more home owned. Graeme Austin who worked on the publication prior to taking over has had several letters of enquiries from people across the nation and overseas wanting to be a part of the magazine, and after recent staff changes the management and current staff have been kept busy interviewing avid fans of the publication. So many people want to be a part of 3SIXTY Magazine and One80 news, Graeme Austin and Tony V are pleased to have new ideas added to the publications. Current stand in Editor Peter Chipchase also welcomes the news.
Thanks to our major sponsor Gayshare, The winner of Queer as Talent season 1, will now also win a trip for two to Turkey including airfares and accommodation at Gayshares Begonvil Holiday resort in Turkey. However with the view that the resort is exclusive to Gay males, they are offering an alternative holiday if the winner of the competition is a member of the Lesbian community. The winner will also win £10,000 and will also appear on the front cover of 3SIXTY magazine in March. Talks are also in the process for bootcamp for the second season of QAT to be in Bodrum, and QAT will take over the complex for the week so all contestants in the series to semi finals can attend.

Anthony Frausto our Californian correspondent catches up with LisaRaye McCoy, Entertainer and soon to be hosting her own reality Television show on TV One in the USA. A: You must be excited when does the show start? L: It’s starting right now. (Giggles) I’m actually filming right now. We’ve been in production for about two months and I have another month to go. And then I start going into my interviews and to my TV talk shows, radio interviews and all that kind of publicity stuff. A: What brought this along? L: I have been having a crazy life in the last 3 years. I have became the First Lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Which is a small Island outside of Miami and a chain of Bahamas, Jamaica, Cub, in that little area of Caribbean Islands and I kind of left L.A., left Hollywood. Left the acting career and went over to become this First Lady of a country I knew very little about. Trying to be embraced, trying to be liked, trying to be, uhm, welcomed and try to have a legacy there. Seems like all hell broke loose. My husband was investigated for rape, investigated now for corruption of governmental funds, dishonesty, which kind of landed me in a divorce of course. Go figure. It’s a scandal; it’s been a real, uhm, triumph type of 3 years. Coming back, you know, to where I live, where I’m from and it’s Hollywood. Everybody’s like, hey LisaRaye what’s going on you know, tell us this, tell us that. It’s like if you really want to know then you got to hear it from the horse’s mouth. And I’m that horse. So now reality shows are big and you need to be part of the reality craze, you need to be on TV right now. I couldn’t really concentrate with a movie because I’m going back and forth to Turks with the divorce and the settlement…so I said, you know what? I am going to be able to tell the story because this is a story and historically I’m the first African American Actress to be a first Lady. So, I think the story that I am actually living, which is like a fairytale turned nightmare. It’s a story that I need to share with a lot of other woman so they will know what not to get involved in, what I did, what really actually happened and 10 | 3SIXTY MAGAZINE LTD
now to support me and how to actually not let it happen to them. A: So the best way to do it is to do it on TV. L: Absolutely A: People believe what they see more than what they hear, and I believe that is a good way to clear up everything. L: : And I think that is exactly what’s been going on because there is so many tabloids and blogs, Internt stuff that’s out there now. Twitter, Myspace, facebook and all that ‘till you really have to turn that stuff around and make it work for you. I really want to tell my story. It’s really important to just not me but my fans as well. A: Yeah. Speaking of your fans, definitely everybody knows about your straight ale fans. But everybody in the U.K. and all your gay fans wants to know how do you appreciate them or how do you feel about your gay fans? L: I totally do. I totally do. When I tell you before I became the First Lady I use to host gay pride week in Atlanta all the time. And then when I became the First Lady, became more politically I guess, incorrect for a Caribbean Island to kind of embrace, uhm, gays. So I kind of quietly approached my First Lady role in a different way. In a different manner. So now that I’m back, It’s like I never left because I started hosting gay pride week again in Baltimore. Hosting parties in Miami and in Atlanta, Chicago. When I tell you, when you have a huge gay following, they are there. The never stray, they always let me know they love me. They always let me know they support me. I love it, I love them. They are people, they fun, they out. Hey!! I couldn’t get along without one in my life. I have one in my family, one
FIRST as my best friend. I got one that does my hair, my make-up, dress me, whoever. It’s all around me. And I love it. A: Are you thinking of going to the UK any time soon? Possibly doing things out there? L: My daughter use to go to the University of Buckingham in London. So I’m very familiar with the U.K. I’m very familiar with Europe. I love it over there, because there is something about them that are… They’re more liberal than we are in the States. They just are. They live their life and that’s what I love about them. They are not, “in the closet.” They are out baby and I love it! They know how to live. Right now when the economy is the way it is and everything is going so (points down). Laughter is the best medicine. To be able to be free, and to love freely is the best medicine. And they do it well. A: I think I know where I’m going to be moving to next. Give me some of that Euro-power. That’s what I need. So what about your American gays? What’s some crazy stuff that’s happened with you and your fans? L: Let’s see, let’s see. I do girl parties, I do boy parties. I hosted a boy’s party, actually, in Atlanta. And we did a fashion show. I was actually only supposed to be the host. I’m out there, letting all the people come out on the stage and announcing everyone. Then all of a sudden, this guy comes up to me and he’s walking, and he’s walking, he does like that (she taps my shoulder) he does like this. (She does a pointing motion) come on. And I was like is this a dance off or a runway? And hit it. And we just started hitting it. We started Vogueing, and just really having fun. The more we did it, the more the crowd just like yea. That’s good for your ego especially when you just coming back. I just felt so good and so loved. I really did. I couldn’t have paid for that. Even the girls, the girls party, they support. They buy all of my… I have these playing cards I have made for myself that is swimsuit or cutoff shorts or you know the sexy LisaRaye. They buy them up. I mean everything. The love, the hugs. Can I get a hug? Can you sign my arm, can you sign my shirt, can you sign anything? Can we just look at you, can we take a picture, can you come down and dance with us? It’s like, Absolutely! Because I love people and I love the connection between my fans. And they actually give me the best connection. A: I can tell from working with you all day long that you’re very nice to everybody, I know me and my crew really do appreciate that. L: Oh thank you, Well you know what? You take fabulous pictures. You know what you doing. And I could tell you had some type of, I don’t’ to say weird, but most photographers are very, uhm, I don’t know. You guys go inside deep into your head and you have these visions that you can only see. And so we have to trust you all. Coming into this, it was like, I’m yours. Do what you want. So we had our make-up artist, we have our stylist, we have our hair person, and then we have you. You are the one that brings the vision to life so I have to trust you. You went behind the camera tell me, give me this, give me soft, give me happy. I was like, ok. You got it, you got it. So you brought this out for me, you know. A You saw me giving you a little runway. L: I saw you (laughs). Yes you did. So we got some fabulous stuff. And I thank you for that.
LADY A: So what can you tell us that turns you on about a man or gets your blood boiling? L: I’m attracted to power. I’m attracted to a man that knows exactly what he wants. Where he is going. I’m attracted to the essence of his own beauty. His own self-esteem. His own confidence level that I could look at him and go, he got swagger. He has taste. He has an appeal that he knows he has. Which exudes a sex appeal. A powerful being and I love that. Someone that can give it to you without even giving it to you. You know what I’m saying. A: Seems like we are talking about serious eye candy. L: Oh my God, that’s the best, is to have eye candy. You got to be able to look at them and go, yup, I’m going home. (Laughs) A: I want to thank you for conducting this interview with me and helping me out. The guys at 3SIXTY magazine really appreciate it. L: 3SIXTY baby!!! A: Is there a special message you want to say to the U.K.? L: Yeah. If they’re part of twitter then it’s: THEREALLRAYE on twitter, so follow me. Tweet me. Come on out and be part of my Back-to-Business. Watch my reality show. It’s called, “LisaRaye the Real McCoy.” It’s on TV One and if you don’t get it call them and tell them that you want to get that. Because you have to see al the drama, all the scandal, all the rumours, all the everything that I’m disclosing to all of you. You got it first. A: You have loads of Gay Fans, Anything you want to say here 3Sixty around the world & back? L: Yeah. I do. They love me, I love them. I miss the drag shows. I miss my drag shows. I mean I use to walk for face, walk for label. I use to do all of that and just judge and just have LisaRaye looka-likes and everything, I just am a faghag . I learn so much, we use to have a place in Chicago called Batons, and it was a female impersonator show. I remember in high school I use to sit there and watch and I use to just write down their make-up tips, their clothes and their fashion, and the jewellery. How they hold their hands, how they pose. All that. I mean they give face baby, and they want to be woman. So they’re just really into it. A: Because in heart and soul they are woman. God Bless them. L: Absolutely. God Bless you (She throws a kiss at the camera). And keep being strong, keep doing you. Don’t let no one change your mind. The rights are going to be your rights when you make it rightfully yours. You know what I’m talking about. A: Thank you. I would like to thank you for stopping by and the photo shoot, and interview. You just really gave me a great day. L: You’re so welcome. You’re so cute. Absolutely. And you brought this really good wine. I have to cheer to you. (Toast). MMM. You know how to pick them huh? (Both Agree) A: I want to thank everybody and we are going to have in our next video some behind the scenes stuff that’s going to be really hot. L: Wow! (She Winks)

The first great success of Arthur Miller’s supremely influential career - is a compelling story of love, guilt and the corrupting power of greed. Joe Keller (David Suchet) is alleged to have supplied World War II fighter planes with defective engines, leading to the deaths of innocent pilots - a crime for which his business partner took the fall. One of Keller’s sons, himself a pilot, is thought to have been killed in action. But his mother (Zoe Wanamaker) can’t accept his death and equally, can’t accept that her dead son’s fiancée has transferred her affections to her other son. BEACHES is the nearest beach area where you will find miles of a long golden sandy beach, with shallow shimmering waters ideal for bathers, with watersports on offer, approx 1.2 miles away and easily accessible from Bodrum city centre by very frequent public bus service. This is the place where you can see many gay-men around. There is a section of the beach apparently that most gays seem to have adopted as their own plot of golden gayness.
Secret Garden Has got to be one of the best restaurants in Bodrum. Now in its sixth year it has won the reputation for excellent cuisine

JLS JLS: Oritsé, JB, Aston, and Marvin are the most successful group of all time to enter The X Factor; the most popular show on British TV. From the outset it was clear that JLS were not usual X Factor fodder. They took their X Factor path one step at a time, from auditions to boot camp to the judges’ houses right up to the live show knock-out rounds and eventually the final. It became similarly clear to everyone around JLS that they weren’t in this for the short haul. PSYCHIC
CelebrityReadings2010
LADY GAGA March 2010 seems to be a very exciting time for this Lady; I feel we are going to be seeing her a lot more here in the UK as things carry on going from strength to strength with her. She will be working on some fantastic material in the New Year too maybe a duet with someone like Britney which will see her steal a very respectable place in the charts and our dance floors! An interesting time also seems to be developing in her love life too as a mix of both sexes seem to join the party and her having a bit of a lasting relationship with someone interesting or unexpected will hit the headlines, the Tarot I pulled out for her is ‘The Star’, which is no surprise she will carry on gaining a lot more respect as an artist winning some prestigious awards but also getting that expected criticism that every good artist gets, a fashion or some kind of exciting product franchise that everyone will want a piece of will bring in the bucks and visually she will continue to push those shocking image boundaries, she does this to rebel and not conform to those who judged her so harshly in the past. A new home on our shores is a must and a passion that will be succeeded in also seeing her show off some impressive DJ skills. I recommend a ‘Labrodourite’ crystal to carry on her self to help continue her self expression, vision and spiritual beliefs that help her creativity and her aura is a ‘Metallic Purple’ representing self healing, strength, power and help to over come those hurdles, A ‘GaGa’ year approaches!
BETTE MIDLER A reinvention has taken place in this diva’s life and it’s for the better! I’m seeing her wanting to start achieving some much anticipated person goals, we are starting to see her pop up everywhere again and a tour will prove to be a sell out and a complete surprise awaits during this time, June 2010 will be a time when Bette sees that a little rest is needed but something tells me she will soldier on regardless, I use the word ‘soldier’ as I feel something to do with supporting military causes will appeal and hold a special place in her heart, new acting roles will show us she hasn’t lost any of that former flair, and we will see her touch base with her UK audience, I see that she is doing a lot of writing too, which help her get some weight of her chest that has been there for a while, a bit of a health scare could flare up during this successful time, but as a strong women she will overcome and love and passions with charity work and community get stronger, something that is musically up to date and ‘now’ will be amazing and I see her and Mr Simon Cowell join forces for a project! The Tarot that came out for was ‘The Sun ‘and her aura is a ‘Sunny Orange’ showing a lot of decision making, leaving past issues behind, and getting a new wave of energy and excitement, to keep this up I recommend she carry a ‘Citrine’ crystal the famous mood lifter and happiness stone and when that bought of ill health hits keep and Amethyst by the bed, it is the all round healing stone.
CHERYL COLE In her own words in the Elvive ad’ five problems, one solution! Rumours, marriage, emotions, negative people, and a little bit of self doubt! I love Cheryl, and have done some previous readings for her before, she is a genuine beautiful person a real home bod and family all rounder, and her friend’s family and people she loves come first over everything else! With the success with her solo career so far I feel that there will be quite a bit of pressure on her to top it and I believe she can do this 100%! She will hush critics as she becomes a real music star in her own right in 2010 and even be recognised for this in a series of awards, there will be a lot of rumours around circling around her emotional well being and the way she treats other people a lot of it will be bull **** but on he emotional level I see someone a little hurt so there could be some truth in that. She will be heading state side and working with he best in her field and I feel that they will love our girl but will Ashley cope? There is a strange kid of love there and I do believe they love each other but some truths and actually deciding what they both want in from this relationship is crucial right now. There are some very negative people waiting for Cheryl to fail and I see a spat with band mate Nadine Coyle who seems to be having a dig on the quiet, on the subject of band mates, Cheryl will be there to support one of her very best and loyal friends Kimberley Walsh with some exciting new T.V. work and on a lower note an emotional parting with someone close, this is where Cheryl is a complete rock for the one’s she loves the most. Babies are certainly in this reading but there is still a lot to do before she can enjoy mother hood whole heartedly only she herself will know the time is right and she will be a 1st mam! Her tarot was ‘Temperance’ which is weighing up pro’s and con’s but light at the end of the tunnel, her aura is a very deep ‘Maroon’ showing deep thinking, going into yourself and finding who you truly are and what you want to be and achieve at this time of your life, I recommend a ‘Smokey Quartz’ to detract negative people and negative thinking and a ‘Rose Quartz’ for love, help with emotions, and encourage soothing in all area’s.

Now bend at the knee and hip to perform an eccentric squat keeping on the heel of the foot whilst keeping the weights in the shoulder position. Stand back up to straight using a thrusting motion, as the leg is fully extended push the dumbbells with a shoulder press motion above the head to a full extension of the arm, return the dumbbells to the start shoulder position and count this as a single repetition.
SWING Start with a weight plate/handled med ball or kettle bell in both hands with fully extended arms above the head, foot position just over shoulder width apart. Bend at the knee and hip whilst keeping on the heels of the foot to perform an eccentric squat, simultaneously lower the weight keeping the arms straightened in an arc motion so the weight is between the legs at the bottom of the squat. When standing back up (concentrically) use a thrusting motion squeezing the gluts forward swinging the weight in an arc motion above the head. This is one full repetition.
LUNGE & TWIST Start with both feet about 6 inch’s apart holding a weight plate in your hand arms with a 90 degree bend in them at the elbow. Step one foot out in front of the body keeping the torso upright, the stride length needs to be about 80% of the full range possible allowing the knees to both bend at a 90 degree angle at the same time. Perform this movement, then whilst both legs are bent with shins parallel to the ground, twist the torso and weight to the direction of the front bent leg so you end up facing either to your left or right. Then twist the torso and weight back to the front and step back up to the start position. This counts as one rep, repeat with the alternate leg and continue to the desired rep range.
B CHEST AND BREAST 3 X 10 REPS SINGLE ARM DUMBBELL CHEST PRESS Start in the laying position on a flat or slightly inclined positioned bench, facing upwards. Hold a single dumbbell in either the left or right hand and position next to the chest inline with the nipple with a bent arm. Push the dumbbell out extending the arm to form a chest press motion, use your core muscles to balance the torso and slowly return the weight to the start position, this counts as a single repetition. Repeat using the same arm to the desired rep range and then swap arms.

WALL PRESS-UP First get in to a press up position with you feet touching the wall, Put one foot on the wall and push against it using the upper body. Place the other foot next to it so both feet are on the wall meaning the full body is parallel with the floor, then bend the arms so your chest area touches the floor. Then straighten the arm pushing you back up to the start position, this counts as a single repetition. Keep the feet on the wall and repeat the exercise to the desired rep range.
C ABS & TUMS
2 X 15 REPS
SINGLE ARM CABLE PRESS First set up a low positioned cable and get down on one knee facing away from the cable, each knee should have a 90 degree bend in it. Pick up the cable handle using the hand on the same side of the behind leg. Bring to the side of the body, inline with the lower chest. The opposite arm will need to be out stretched in front at eye level, this will help keep balance and shoulders square. Now extend the arm holding the handle out so that it ends up inline with the opposite arm. For comfort allow the cable to run under the arm and use you core stabling muscles to keep shoulder square. Then return the hand back to your side by bending at the elbow and count as one repetition. Continue to the desired rep range and then change arms.
V-SIT & TWIST This exercise can be preformed with or without weight. First sit on the mat with your legs of the floor at a 90-degree angle to the body, making the body form a ‘V’ shape. Then bring your arms out straight in front of you whilst keeping you body and back in a straight and elevated position. The twist the arms, torso and head so your arms are now facing either the left or right side of the body, touch the hands or weight on the floor and move back to the start position. This will count as one repetition, alternate sides throughout the exercise from left to right.
AROUND THE WORLD Hold the weight plate to one side of the body by the hip, keeping the arms and lower back straight move the weight above the head and down to the other side of the body. Keep the weight moving in the same plane of direction forming a circular motion from one side, over the head to the other side of the body. Do this at a slow controlled pace using your core muscles to control the weight both on its descent and ascent to the hip area.
PLANK SIDE TOUCH The first position in this exercise is the plank position, this is where you rest on your forearms and a toe, meaning the rest of the body is held off the floor. Keeping the body in a straight line by using the core abdominal muscles. This will keep the back and legs in line. Then whilst keeping the body in this line, move one arm out to the side to a full extension, hold for a second and bring back to the start position. This counts as one repetition, now repeat with the other arm and continue alternating arms to the desired rep range.

WHIRLWIND
Ignore all the usual reviews you get for movies like this, as the cracking number of gags and kills contained in this campy blood feast would have flown right over the critic’s heads. Even those who own a DVD of the cheesy original (myself included) won’t mind that this update bears little resemblance save for a house full of screaming girls. Drop-dead gorgeous Drake infiltrates a tight-knit gang of savvy and sexy New Yorkers, snaffling their boyfriends, hopping from bed to bed and stirring up trouble as he does so. Naturally, this group of friends eventually finds out about Drake’s dastardly intentions, and refuse to let each other be pulled apart by his nefarious meddling.
OUTRAGE
The movie looks at journalists who investigate gay rumors and then go after the guilty with the truth and in doing so force them to come out. The majority of these journalists come from nonmainstream media and this is because the mainstream chooses to ignore these kinds of stories.
WATCHING OUT The film - with and without commentary - plus over an hour of bonus video blogs. . There is a lot to try and absorb. There’s ample nudity more than ample. A must see to believe

SYLVIA TOSUN OUT & ABOUT IN NYC
Sylvia Tosun Parties with Mike Ruiz and Be Be Zahara Benet ( pictured left). Also a Christmas affair with roller skates in Central Park and Danny Sullivan. Plus the scoop on her concert in San Francisco. More gorgeous photos of the Blonds. developed a strong sense of her own identity.
OUT & ABOUT IN NYC
approached the front of the stage in my shimmering pink dress (designed by The Blonds of course!), the three thousand strong crowd all reached out to paw at my suede Louboutin thigh high boots!
This month Sonya takes us through her Christmas cheers at the Rockafella Centre and her visit to San Francisco
Jingle bells and ice skate falls in NYC New friend and top trance Producer/DJ, Alex M.O.R.P.H., stopped into town for a quick visit…. and since it was his first time, a couple of friends and I decided to give him a NYC holiday experience. So of course, we had to go to Rockafeller Center and show him the famous Christmas tree. It is actually a bit small this year…[must be due to the shrunken economy]… Like tourists, we rented skates and gingerly attempted to glide across the ice…. or should I say very ungracefully and repeatedly fell on our bums [lol], except Danny Sullivan, DJ/Producer extraordinaire and former Hockey Player…next to him we were all like newborn deer, tittering around the rink wondering why we ever enlisted ourselves for an entire hour.
Glitz and Glam for the master of the Cam... My good friend and famed celebrity Photographer, Mike Ruiz, had and amazing star studded birthday bash last week at the Hudson Hotel. The guest list included, Kristine W, BeBe Zahara Benet, Nole Marin, The Blonds, and
“He furiously tore the drink from my hand and whipped out a pair of handcuffs.”
The next night I performed at Infusion Lounge (my single release party) to a more mainstream audience, however, they certainly seemed to enjoy my cabaret style performance, unlike the sound guy who warned me not to stray from the catwalk style stage. However, I am not one to be contained...
I nearly left my “self” in San Fransico let alone my heart...
Grammy Award Winning DJ, Hex Hector, who was spinning on the decks. Amidst the glitz and glam we sipped our champagne, danced, laughed, and of course struck our best poses for the multitude of flashing cameras! Too harshly for not being “green” on this matter…. I do care deeply about the environment)
It was the end of the night after one of my performances and I was enjoying a glass of Don Julio Tequila (my fav) when a very rude bouncer demanded I get rid of my drink so they could close (he apparently didn’t recognize that I had performed at the club that night). When I politely refused he ferociously tore the drink from my hand and whipped out a
Push n Pulled to the city by the bay.. Last weekend I flew out to perform in the “city by the bay”. I was invited by local club and radio DJ star, Trevor Simpson, opening for world renowned DJ Fedde Le Grand at the Regency Ball Room. The place was jam packed with young sweaty fans feeling more than just the music [wink, wink] as they sipped on their water bottles. I came out to perform my latest single “Push n Pull” [which Trevor did a stellar remix of] and as I

UP CLOSE
&
PERSONAL
Jessica Clemmins US Pop/Soul Singer has been hitting the UK circuit. Tony V gets up close and personal to find out where it all began. T: At what age did you decide that you wanted a career in singing. J:I’ve been singing as long as I can remember. I know most artists say that but it’s the truth. I remember being about 4 and I told my mum I wanted to be a singer and make records like the ones I used to dance around to as a little girl (yeah I know records... I’m not that old but my parents didn’t upgrade to cassette tapes for a little while lol). From the time I was about 10 I sang everywhere from church to theatre productions and talent shows. You couldn’t shut me up, just ask my brothers! T: When did you decide to pursue it as a career? J: Well I would say I wanted to pursue it as young as 8 when I used to watch a show called “Star Search”, which was the very first X Factor of it’s time, and remember watching Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake on there. I wanted to do that too but had no idea where to start. Being the middle child with two brothers my parents tried to help me as much as they could to keep me active in music but they also had other children to think about. So instead of doing a huge national talent show like that I entered tons growing up and hoping for that moment where I was “discovered”. When I was about 23 I was able to really start to pursue this career when I met my producer, John Ravenhall. T: Who are your influences in music? J: Oh I have so many but artist like Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin were the ones that gave me that feeling every time I listened to them. It’s a feeling that happens inside that says... this music is you and the kind of career you want. I think it’s so easy to go down the real pop music route but the artist I mentioned are legends and have had such long careers but haven’t always topped the charts. Ultimately isn’t that what we want, a career we can love and have for years and years to come? Sure I would love to be on the top of the charts but I also want to be one of those artist that people can’t wait to get their hands on their new album. I know for me every time a Celine Dion album comes out I buy it before I even hear the songs because I know it will be amazing. That’s my goal. T: To get as far as you have is an amazing achievement in a fierce market, what are your plans for the future? J: Thank you, it’s not easy let me tell ya! Early next year we will be releasing the third single off the album and I’m really hoping that creates even more of a buzz than Relentless did. I’m so happy with the way things have gone so far. People forget how hard it is for artist who doesn’t come up through the reality show route or having a major label who throw lots of money into them. For artists like me it’s all about extremely hard work and you guys, my fans. If y’all like me and the music that is which will help take me to the next stage in my career. I plan to continue going forward with the way I’ve been doing it and hopefully being a support act for an artist in the spring. It’s all about baby steps. Nothing happens over night and hard work is the best way to be successful! T: With your new album out, what are your plans on promoting your work. J :I’ve done a load of radio interviews all over the country from London to Wales to Scotland and it has been a blast. I was fortunate enough to interview with Lorraine Kelly at Radio 2 this past spring and hope I’ll be back again soon. The club tour has been a success and with the help of Marshall Arts Ltd in London I’ve had a great list of amazing clubs to sing at. Soon we’ll have PR involved and getting into the papers and events
in London. It’s all about getting out there and becoming familiar with the public and having them become familiar with me. It’s amazing how much goes into a career like this! I’m very involved on every aspect of what’s going so I’m learning a lot. I recently shot a music video for the third single in December, which I’m really excited for. So you guys should be able to see it early 2010. T: Who is your ultimate idol? J: Oh wow that’s a tough question. I guess I would have to say for me, it’s Celine Dion because of how hard she’s worked and the length of her career. She can disappear for a year, release an album and it’s number 1 in the charts.... that’s something special! T: Who is the one person you’d love to do a duet with and why? J: Right now it would be Michael Buble’ for a couple reasons of course, his voice is amazing and come on, the guy is gorgeous! T: What is the most amazing thing about performing live? J: I absolutely LOVE performing live. I actually didn’t realize how much until I started the club tour. I think the best thing about it is winning the audience over. You see I get onto the stage having to completely introduce myself to most of the audiences; I’m a new artist so I have a bit to prove. It’s such a great feeling when I get off stage to cheers, people stopping me to ask information about me and especially when they dance to the songs, it means they really enjoyed the music. T: Where did you spend Christmas? J: have! I hope the competition brings out something that is much more “Scissor Sisters” than “X Factor” thanks to the eclectic amount of entrants that have entered by I already have my favourites! If the competition stands for something that is “Producing new talent that doesn’t feel the need to fit the mold” then I am all for it. Viva la différence! T: You’ll be back in the UK in 2010? J: I should be back in the UK towards the beginning of 2010. I can’t wait to see what the year holds for me but I truly believe it’s going to be a fantastic year. Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know me and I hope your readers will check out the music and help play a big part of my growing career in the music industry!

The Fighting Bull Lamborghini Murcièlago Super Car - Super Sexy
Lamborghini
Sex on Wheels
>3SIXTYMOTORS
This is your last chance to purchase a new Lamborghini Murcièlago. This beast is a piece of automotive legend that ends production early next year. It will be replaced by a car that is bigger, more powerful and packed with technology, but the emphasis will change a little as it’s owner is German. This will be “progress through technology.” The legend begins in the early 1960’s when wealthy tractor magnate,
Ferruccio Lamborghini, who had been a loyal customer of Ferrari became tired of returning his cars to the factory for what he felt were unacceptable quality and driving issues. Enzo Ferrari, who by his own admission was building cars to finance his obsession with racing, took exception to this, resulting in a flaming row between the two men. They never spoke again. The Murcièlago is and will be the last Lamborghini that can trace its roots back to that time when the famous tractor builder decided to show the great man Enzo that he could do it better. In many ways he succeeded early on, producing some stunning machines during the 1960’s and 1970’s. Ferruchio eventually sold out in 1974 following the oil crisis and the company spent the next two decades lurching from crisis to crisis under different owners. The cars remained as extreme and excessive, but full of passion and desirability. It was bought by VW in 1998 under the Audi umbrella. While launched in 2001, the Murcièlago was very much a traditional Lamborghini, and a true descendent to the famous Countach and Diablo through its magnificent 6.2 litre V12 engine. Many regard this as the finest super car engine ever created. The car has evolved during its 8 year lifespan to become even more extreme. What makes this car special is that there are no compromises. It is brutally fast, extremely loud, massively rewarding, but not for the faint hearted! The cars replacement next year will be all new, with a large amount of engineering input from Audi. It will be a great car. What it won’t be is a car quite pure as this. Murcièlago was a legendry 19th century Spanish fighting bull. It was stabbed 27 times yet refused to die. This car will remain the most intense and untamed super car ever made.

3SIXTY FROM BIRMINGHAM GFSN 5 aside Winter Tournament With three nights of entertainment, 19 teams and over 250 people in attendance, the GFSN “Winter Tournament and Party” hosted by Birmingham Blaze, will go down as one of the most successful tournaments in recent memory and will be the bench mark for those wishing to host future get-togethers. Opening with a flourish at a packed Eden on Friday night, the event went from strength to strength, vindicating the decision to move the party around the country to allow more people the opportunity to attend. Despite the bitterly cold wind and rain on Saturday the atmosphere was electric and, when all was said and done, it was Village Manchester who walked away with the trophy having defeated the home town heroes Blaze. It was widely acknowledged that the best team had indeed won, Manchester had proved themselves more than worthy winners.
Birmingham Blaze hosts of the GFSN “Winter Tournament
FROM LONDON November was a month of mixed fortunes for London Titans. On 8th November Titans played host to Yorkshire Terriers. This was the first home game which the Titans had played at Hampton and Richmond Borough FC’s ground, the Beveree. The Beveree is a 3,500 capacity stadium that that is also home to Chelsea Ladies FC. Although Yorkshire took an early lead, this was very much against the run of play and by half time Titans had already recovered to lead 2-1. Paul T continued his good run of form with a hat trick from center midfield. Sean L added a fourth before Matt Beal made it 5. Yorkshire got a second from the penalty spot after a reckless defensive challenge but any hopes of a late comeback were dispelled by the dismissal of one of their players following a second yellow card offense. Hotscots remain the bogey team for the Titans. Knocked out of last year’s cup by Hotscots, they once again secured a comfortable victory over Titans. The match did not start well for Titans who lost two players to injury within the first 20 minutes, the worst being a split lip to Terry Connolly that later required hospital treatment. Hotscots, were deserving of their win with their domination of midfield, usually Titans’ strongest area. A late consolation for Titans came from the boot of Matt Beal who maintains his record of having scored in every one of this season’s GFSN games. Off the pitch, Titans have been busying themselves with the sales of their 2010 calendar, “the swim wear edition” available through the website priced at £7.50 @ www. londontitans.com

And so, after the required muscle soaking in the baths,it was onto the GFSN Christmas Party. And what a party it was. Being held in the brand new Blaze Lounge situated in the Village, it was a night packed full of flowing drink, delicious food, great conversation, and superb entertainment courtesy of DJ Dan, Miss Thunderpussy and of course the incomparable Mrs Mills. There were also a selection of cakes that would put Martha Stewart to shame.
Waking up on the Sunday with their collective hangovers did not stop anybody getting themselves to the Brunch and GFSN Quiz back at the Blaze Lounge. After some intense thinking and dubious questions (ask yourself, just who exactly are “The Six”?) the winners enjoyed the acclaim of their peers with bubbles, lots of bubbles. Winding down the weekend Mrs Mills concluded the event by hosting an evening of “Kamikaze Karaoke” - the likes of which will (hopefully) never be seen again. Cheryl Cole will not be looking over her shoulder. A weekend which had raised invaluable funds for the GFSN was finally over. The incredible effort put in by so many people from the GFSN, Birmingham Blaze, Eden, The Village and Goals had resulted in a top-notch event which was enjoyed by all who attended. Congratulations and a massive thank you to all of them. Blackpool, it’s over to you.

SPORTS Out to Swim Getting fit with Out-To-Swim couldn’t be easier. With over 250 members in London and Brighton, out-to-swim is one of the largest master swimming clubs in the country. I spent the day with the group at one of their sessions in Brighton. Coach Brian was putting everybody through their paces: 25 lengths of fly at 80%. There were swimmers of all standards in the pool from the beginner with 3 weeks experience to the world championship standard tri-athlete.
Tri-athlete Lizzy Brama, from Out to Swim lane one “ranked 8th in the world”
Pascal from Out to Swim - lane one
Sharing lane one were Pascal and Lizzy. Pascal, who joined out-toswim in London in order to get fit and meet like-minded people to socialise with, said “when I moved to Brighton I realized the out-toswim formula would work really well here so I started the club. We now have more than 40 members and two coaches”. Tri-athlete Lizzy Brama, ranked 8th in the world in her age group following her success in last year’s Ironman World championships added “I love the club for the swimming, the social aspect of the club and the fact there is always a coach to call upon”. In lane two was Phil Hodges. He was unanimously voted “Most Improved Swimmer 2009”. He said “a year ago I could just about swim a length but now I have my sights on the Gay Games.” Out-to-swim masters club will be sending at least 45 competitors to the Gay Games in Cologne. Last year in Copenhagen they won 3 gold: Kate Whitmall in the 100m fly, Steph Hall in the 100m breast stroke and Stephen Leu in the 100m freestyle. Robert McInnes displayed amazing stamina and determination by winning silver in the 400IM. Kate Whitmill also cleaned up nicely by achieving silvers in her 50m free, fly and 100 free. Robert McInnes continued to demonstrate that he would not be cowed by the tough races when he won bronze for the 200m fly. Bronzes were also won by Steph Hall (100m free) and Stephen Lue (50m free and 50m fly). Out-to swim encourage competition at national and international events and strive to create an environment in which LGBT men and women feel welcome and comfortable.
