About Kettle Care Organics Let us tell you a little about our company. We are a small, family owned operation working out in the Rockies of northwest Montana near the majestic Glacier National Park. With our wonderful team, we create natural and therapeutic body care formulas that we have refined to near perfection over our 31 years in business as a body care company. What’s so special about our products you ask? First, we use only natural ingredients. If it’s not from nature we won’t use it. All of our cremes and lotions are made with Beeswax here in Montana, and African Shea or Cocoa Butter to make the emulsions to stabilize the products. No secondary emulsifiers, such as emulsifying waxes, are used as they are almost always petroleum based. Second, our products know how to perform. We use highly therapeutic levels of Essential Oils and Extracts to heal dry, damaged skin, as well as reduce the appearance of eczema and varicose veins. This philosophy stands behind all of our products and is one which we continue to use when we develop new products. Third, we have partnered with several individuals around the Flathead Valley to source our raw materials as locally as possible. The Beeswax in all of our cremes and lotions comes from Arlee Apiary to the South and many of our herbs and botanicals come from Organically Certified Terrapin Farms just to the North. We believe in supporting local economies and we do our best to become a larger part of our own local community. Even with proven formulas everyone’s skin is a little different. Protect the Environment Most consumers aren’t aware, but those little plastic microbeads in many body washes, toothpastes and face scrubs are running into oceans, lakes and rivers by the billions, and causing huge amounts of environmental damage. In fact, most of us don’t even realize they are plastic. So what’s so damaging about these tiny beads? Their size is actually one of their most dangerous aspects. They’re too small and light to be picked up by water treatment plants, which often filter water using gravity. Kettle Care Organics Highlights There is always a time of quantum leaps and the last 18 months certainly felt like that for Kettle Care Organics. With our amazing team of employees, we were able to blast through the challenges and we are now looking forward to a joyful holiday season to round off this eventful year. Here are some highlights of our busy year... On a beautiful cold and clear day in January, we finished the 9 month remodel project and moved into our new 6,000 sq ft facility that houses our lab, production, packaging, shipping, office and retail store areas, everything finally under one roof and on one level - a dream come true for our team. In April, we opened our new retail space. It has been a blast figuring out how to display our products to look great on the shelves and creating awesome table displays. If you are in the area, please stop by and visit. We are only 20 minutes from the West entrance of Glacier National Park. In May, we started our new company garden in the backyard. We have grown an abundance of many fruits, vegetable and beautiful flowers. We will continue to grow this garden utilizing basic permaculture principles to create a lush and lavish area to lounge and get delicious food from. With our new lab and equipment we have been able to test and fine tune our manufacturing processes to create much more stable emulsions and firmer cremes. We have finalized our own internal procedures to comply with the voluntary Good Manufacturing Practices Standards. The customer service crew continues to communicate and follow up with all of our customers, and it has been a pleasure getting to know so many of you. We are so grateful for all your loyalty. As you might have noticed, we have worked to update our packaging and look. A lot of thought and effort went into this and we are happy with our clean and consistent look! Throughout this year, our team has participated in several great training sessions including “Lean Manufacturing” and “Medicinal Properties of Plants”. These events are inspiring and help us to better serve you with a focused passion creating the absolute best in body care products. We could have not achieved any of this without you.
