01.VerticalHorizontal 垂直水平
“Vertical and Horizontal” was a basic creative course for freshmen. The purpose was on training the aesthetics towards proportion and basic model hands-on.
02.Luminary 發光體
The modeling is streamlined with the vertical and horizontal elements for figuring out the main point in the work that is mostly intended to be perceived by people. A new work is created while combining with the lamp, an advance derivative of vertical and horizontal. In the vertical work, I intend to display the contrast between the space and block caused by the slit. To underline the tension of the slit, complex lines are added and the clayed displaced. In the central luminescing part, semitranslucent white acrylic is used to have the light dispersed. The styling of the principal part is extremely streamlined to highlight the contrast. Complex light and extremely simple black block convey the suppressed explosive force. From the slit of the simple block, energetic and lively lines burst.

03.MovingDevice
移動裝置 The purpose of “moving device” is to have students design a device that can carry one person to move at lease 100m. Combining ergonomics and mechanics to creat a personalized design. My design useing the freewheels from bicycles, which allow only one way to move, so if you want to move forward, you should push the handle then pull yourself ahead. Function of freewheel:

04.BodyInstallation 人體裝置
The purpose of Body Installation is to have students ponder on the distinguishing characteristic that one wishes to convey most. The relationships among, for instance, body language, synthesized source materials, and creative presentation are used to connect article experiences. This work is to express the depression of not capable of doing what I desire to do. In making the draft model, the head was replaced by a TV set. The ideas were precisely set just like the color-calibration frame in the image of the end of broadcasting. After repeatedly discussions and conversions, the work and the body were combined into a big chrysalis which always covers my sense organs and obstructs my actions.

05.EmergentTent 龍骨
This product is an OR (Operating Room). It’s designed for coping with emergency medical conditions. If this portable device could be adopted in wilderness first aid, the bacterial infection probability of patients could be reduced and largely increase patients’ survival rate. The material of this product is a gas-filled framework, which is the active layer processed by high-frequency hardening. In the framework, Tyvek is ironed for isolating the contact with the outside world. With the airtight feature of Tyvek, the OR(Operating Room) is designed with the effect of the Negative Pressure Ward. My concept is to have the work go with medical-level air cleaner. As the clean air is poured into the framework with the air cleaner, the one-way breathable holes in the framework could have the clean air enter the operating room. With the one-way ventilated Tyvek lifting lid for eliminating dirty air, then, what’s entered is equal to the exhaust, which forms a simple Negative Pressure Ward.
Process: 1.Use mashed paper and balloon to make a small-sized model. 2.Cut the small-sized model into pieces. 3.Large-print the pieces to 1:1. 4.Cut the metals into the right size and use the Induction and Flame Hardening Processes to make the model.
This is the original model shows how the gas-filled structure works.
06.ZenStereo 枯山水
Dry materials are used for representing the floating water, which is inspired by the rippling caused by sound wave vibrations, an extension of the visibility of sound waves.

The work is amended in four phases. The first phase is the vertical styling side table audio. The vibrations let the glass on the table rapped the sound waves. In the second phase, the sound pressure level is largely reduced. EVA out-stretched Lycra cotton is used for creating gentle touch and vision. In the third phase, cambered surface is used for representing the feelings of downstream water. Finally, the sound wave and light are combined to endow acoustic vitality. I completed a circuit that could twinkle with rhythms. In the acoustic exterior, vacuum acrylic is used for representing the image of rippling. High refractive index intensifies the feelings of wave light. With the music rhythm and flickering light, it’s as if the water wave is dancing. In the sound box of the speaker, rotary resonance space is adopted to increase the depth of sound and separate the two drivers to prevent mutual interferences.

Nowadays the number of elder population grows in a rapid speed in many countries, in order to meet the need of this market there should be products designed espical for the elders. This cellphone has 6 enlarged buttons so old people won’t push the wrong one, each button can type two numbers by pushing it to what you want to type. The streamline form helps elder people hold on tight.

08.Gally 凱莉
The subject of GALLY is to turn my reading review into a work. I read two books, A Natural History of the Senses and Last Order. I choice Last Order because I am very fond of the world of machinery and moral decay. It’s dreamlike, yet also quite realistic with a sense of existence. Later, I read A Natural History of the Senses. The author depicts feelings skillfully as if she has just reminded you of something that you forgot mindlessly. She enables the readers to truly experience her feelings through written words.
Whenever I perceive the actions of a set of successive mechanical movements, it always touches me. I think that we have achieved certain things too easily. This lets us ignored the impressive process instead. Consequently, I intend to turn such a touching feeling into this device to let people who get near it feel it.
09.BrandDesign:Tougher 鋼鐵音響
The spirit and style of this work must be grasped from the brand, and a related product is designed with this style to have people associate with its brand at a glance. The brand chosen is a Hong Kong fashion brand TOUCH. Launched in 1994, TOUGH Jeansmith was the first private Bauhaus label. As one of Hong Kong’s leading fashion creators and retailers, their activities range from designing, to merchandising and sales networking. Representing the latest fashion trends the dynamic collection incorporates jeans, fashion wear, bags and accessories. Their designs are unique; Industrial and hardwearing but never compromising on street style. TOUGH Jeansmith has a strong oriental background and are largely influenced by industrial elements. Based in Hong Kong, a modern and metropolitan city which brings together the East and West, TOUGH Jeansmith draws inspiration from this diverse cultural mix and offers a unique twist on current and future trends. The collection is sporty and sexy, yet sophisticated and gets noticed in the worldwide fashion market due to their unique finishing techniques and treatments they have developed.

The military uniform style which links up with fashion is its brand spirit. The concept of this audio is the structure of a military consolidated box. The rivets and metal stamping ribs which are electroplated after formed by CNC machine endow this audio a forthright appearance. The interior is composed of a CD player and exterior speakers, which make it an audio that could play the CD with the exterior sound module. To radiate quickly, ventilation holes are installed on the side.

Stereo Design Materials:Steel,Acrylic,shocks 250*600*250 mm
Based on the idea of "hanging," this stereo is designed to effectively avoid vibration from the desk. Since the acoustic effect of desk-top stereos can be easily affected by the vibration from desks, this design focuses on avoiding the shock transmitted from the desk to the speaker to improve sound quality. The idea of the modeling is derived from the rigid frame and wire rope in architecture. Two full range speakers suspended in the middle of steel frames by wire ropes is to prevent vibration, so as the shock absorbers’ function to the sackbut. The stainless steel frames form a very aggressive look to the stereo.

The stainless steel structures are cut by laser. The weight of the steel and the speakers enable the entire stereo to stand still. Solid medium density fiber board(MDF) is set inside the sound box to resonate harmoniously. The sound boxes of the full range speakers are made by glass, which gives the sound a mellow feeling.
The shock absorber can prevent vibration from where the sackbut stands.
Structure
The structure origins from how microphone avoiding shakings, each component is assembled through inlay, cabling and stretching to create a identically tensional appearance. Because each part is rely on the others, if remove one component, and the others will easily fall apart.

Sleeping Coat Design Materials: Aluminum Blanket Breathable Waterproof cloth 30*1800*600 mm

Scenario In Chinese ancient books, the word "遊民," pronounced yo-min in Chinese means “the homeless” in English, also stands for people who travel freely without restraint and burden. So I want to design one cloth to such people today as backpackers, disaster victims, homeless people, and real vagrants. It is really important for them to have a blanket to keep warm, waterproof and avoid mosquito bites. Since these travelers have to carry all their baggage on their backs, the blanket should be small in size and easy to carry. This is how I came up with the idea to design a "sleeping-bag suit." Such a "sleeping-bag suit" is a suit easy to put on and it has various buckles to create diverse forms for different weather types. Moreover, the sleeping-bag suit is mostly made from aluminum, so its light is easy to carry around, it can also be rolled up to the size of a Coke-cola can! Also the waterproof covering makes it nicely ventilated and multi-functional.
MISS NAUSICAÄ’s proportion based on imagings above, I tryed five diffient angles to improve the fitness. You can see those tension caused by poses, in that I can measure my work’s paper cut.

Human body During the snowstorm in Europe and the earthquake in Japan, aluminum blankets are widely used by the victims. A piece of aluminum blanket weigh less than a pack of instant noodles, while can instantly help people recover from the loss of body temperature. Most of all, its low cost make it affordable to those in need. Aluminum blankets is a kind of PVC cloth that is printed in aluminum on one side and copper on the other, which can reflect 83% radiant heat back to human body.
Prevent insects (breathable cloth)
This jacket is combined with a sleeping bag, so body temperature would be kept inside by aluminum blanket layer which is stuck to the sleeping bag. The hood with breathable cloth can cover one’s whole head and prevent insect while sleeping without suffocation, and the cuff of a sleeve has the same function, by which the sleeping quality can be improved.
Nowadays more and more people travel by backpacking, and they may face lots of problems finding a suitable place to sleep, which is very important for travelers, so a light and warm jacket for the journey can greatly reduce tiredness and burden.
12.ConcreteWave
水泥波凳
In this work, according to the mode shaping feature of cement, I attempt to create the tenderness of waves with solid materials. The molds are made of EVA plate and sound-absorbing foam, so it is very easy to have hand ejection and can be reused many times.

With the dense waves on the seat, it would not be uncomfortable to sit in the stool. The seat of the entire stool is quite ventilative, which makes it suitable for Taiwan’s humid summer.

During the study period I designed three Websites, one was for HONDA FIT which was an activity site called “FIT CITY”. The other two were based on the same framework and developed into two kind of forums, “Lilyanna Eco-awareness” and “Push Push!!.” 1. FIT City: HONDA FIT's market orientation was the urban mobility, through pictures shared by the FIT users showed how FIT participated their urban lifes and held a competition of those pics to attract more attention of the public. Then placed advertisement on the portal site to attract non-users paying attention. The whole Web was designed by flash. Top right was FIT driving through little houses, one house would be added as long as a user shared a photo, by cllcking the houses you could see the pics. Right-bottom is the point into the page content, activities, details are written on the inside.
2. ”Lilyanna Eco-awareness” was a Website designed for the environmental groups, so that people could find the latest environmental news. It would enter the homepage after loading page, on top there displayed the latest article, the buttons below linked to the message page where visitors could add some comments. Right of the page showed a row of links to the articles classified by time, so visitors could easily find what they want.
