ABOUT ME
When I was in college, I have learned large-scale environmental observation and analytical tools; as well as logical thinking and presentation skills. Planning and design work requires a team of 3-5 people, so I also learn more about the way teamwork and the role I should play in different situations. After studying the institute, I entered the field of architecture to learn with clear logic and creative courage. I look forward to the change of things, look forward to the future, and love to explore the essence of things. In the process of studying architecture, I also knew myself at the same time. For me, architecture is to use the language of space to redefine something, which further triggers people's unknown feelings or controversial discussions. Architecture has become a weapon of representation, and what I seek is the truth and freedom in it.

Hello ! From the Old Facade Installation 2020 Tectonic Becoming Workshop
Archirectural Caft Museum Location / Taipei City , Taiwan Principal use / Museum Instructor / Ming-Wei Huang Thitd Year Studio / Independent project / 2019 Autumn
DESIGN TOPIC: The focus of the design is to understand the various possibilities of building construction methods through the research and discussion of building technology. The design must consider how to use its own construction language to create a corresponding exhibition plan, and form a unique experience for the viewer in the current urban environment. The theme of the design project is a "Building Craft Museum". The display content and theme are customized. The design of this semester needs to consider the building and structure, mechanical and electrical air conditioning, lighting and landscape, etc.

Architectural Animation
Wood Formwork Museum I chose "wooden formwork" as the theme of the architectural craft museum. Use the formwork as the role of practical engineering and the abstract aesthetic meaning become the beginning of design thinking. Through the design of exhibition content, space experience, material characteristics, architectural form, to show people the value of the wooden formwork in the language of architecture.
07
08
formwork has been used as a W ood shell for concrete for almost 100
years. The quality of the formwork is directly related to the quality of the concrete project. The key lies in accurate dimensions, firm assembly, tight joints, easy disassembly and so on. Its accumulated ancestral wisdom and experience and play an indispensable role in construction engineering. The attitude of wood formwork achieving building has become its aesthetic significance as a craft.
09
In the past, people used to experience wooden formwork with 2 meters height fence. However, this design started with thinking about how to display wooden formwork. According to the characteristics of the formwork, think about how to use the architectural language to shape the exhibition space, related display plans, and how people should experience it again. 10
CONCEPT MODEL Use concrete to create a monumental space atmosphere, lengthen the t i m e c o n t i nu i t y o f t h e exhibition, and let people experience the humble and great role of wooden formwork.

T
he site is a triangle base located at the intersection of Taipei ,Taiwan. Assume that the whole block is renewed and all existing buildings are demolished for overall planning and design. To me, after the demolition of the building on the site, it has the possibility to extend the open space of the North Gate, like a hand trying to connect with the site through the endpoint.

DESIGN TOPIC: The main design topic of high-rise condominiums is the sense of alienation brought by vertical traffic and possible unsafe corners. How to create a vertical settlement with humanistic care is the main topic of this design. In this design, I expect to break the residential relationship in the high-rise residential buildings where each floor space is cut by the floor, which not only makes the space continuously blocked, but also blocks the possibility of residents interacting with each other.

n the abstraction of the concept, it is attempted to change the rection of gravity and create a surreal vertical living wall which low residents to freely move, communicate, and face the city. I hope is design can return the freedom of residence to the residents, and defines the collective living style of high-rise condominiums.
37
I
n the past few decades, the intense growth of population and the change of social structural have led to the continual production of giant buildings in Asia. The height and width of the building expand to the limit of the floor area. Such a large number of homogeneous manufacturing severely limits the autonomous variability of individual residential units.

DESIGN TOPIC: Step 1, the project propose a new master plan for north district, from the site selection, analysis, and planning issue, finally, we propose the planning strategy and the land use zoning control principle. This operation trains our large-scale planning and analysis capabilities. Step 2, continuing the urban planning of the previous stage, we have to select a site for the development plan of the building. Design content includes market positioning, product planning, land planning, construction planning, financial evaluation, etc. 54

We draw figure-ground and the road network structure diagram, observe the characteristics of the built environment of the site and the flow pattern of the circulation, and further divide it into seven types of street block according to the actual virtual space and the current situation of the built environment. These seven types of street block will serve as a reference for base analysis and planning issues.
57
E
ach of the seven types of block re presents the environmental relationship between different building heights, building ages, building forms, actual and virtual space in the site. Each has its own potential for development and issues to be faced.
58
Based on the understanding of the current situation of the site, we determine the direction and target of the planning, and further analyze the site. The contents are as follows:
60
61
1. The collection roads and secondary roads within the site is inconsistent and therefore inefficient to use, so that most of the residents use the main roads that pass through, causing the main road traffic to exceed the load, reducing its efficiency and safety. 2. Large areas of unused land in the site should be planned for tourists, residents or nature according to their location characteristics, to avoid becoming a unwanted space. 3. In some areas of the base, the area is affected by flooding. The overall planning should be based on the flow of land. It will not only provide local residents to use the park, but also serve as a land for urban flood control.

STEP2. Continuing the urban planning of the previous stage, we select a site for the development plan of the shopping plaza. Design content includes market positioning, product planning, land planning, construction planning, financial evaluation, etc. 65
Leisure Shopping Plaza In recent years, the consumption habits of residents in Tainan have gradually changed, and more and more attention has been paid to daily leisure activities of families. However, although there are many natural environmental resources available to the public in Tainan City, there is relatively little space for combining outdoor activities with indoor entertainment venues. Therefore, the development goal of the project is to plan a compound commercial center, set up complete leisure, entertainment, parent-child, etc. The shopping plaza will meet the needs of family fun, and provide daily leisure places for residents in neighboring areas.

2019 International Residential Architecture Conceptual Design Competition Location : Taichung City , Taiwan Principal use : Residential and Commercial Independent project / 2018 Autumn
Competition Declaration : "Residences" should not be merely places for consumption. Regardless of how minute the connection, how should the residential form be changed for it to be a part of the economic activities in the community circle? I hope that everyone can begin to think from the perspective of "enabling the residence and the community circle to form a quality connection so that financial assets can smoothly circulate within.” From a spatial perspective, how can such a goal be achieved through design?
74
ENCOUNTER AT HOME This design attempts to create a compulsive neighborhood relationship. Let residents get used to this lifestyle. I tried to find the essential meaning of street aesthetics--humanity, and create space like lanes and arcades, which is regarded as an extension of the home. Therefore, private and public spaces can communicate here, and the possibility of connecting with households is also created. "Meeting" is another function of the home in such a space.
75
The lack of interpersonal interaction in modern house caused the house become a place where only shelter and child-raising . The residents are therefore indifferent to each other. The reason is that in addition to the isolation of the dwelling unit, this situation also includes the lack of interaction. So I started with the possibility of resident interaction, combined circulation to connect residential unit space, and made shopping behavior become an important opportunity for interaction. Therefore, the interaction between people; the way of trading behavior is the focus of my design.
76
I think business behavior is a kind of life interaction : commercial + residence = living And I try to redefine the way people live.
77
This design started from the observation of the vital urban space in Taiwan. I analyzed the spatial composition of such interactions. Further converted to residential unit prototypes and the possibility of massive modularization.
lanes
From urban spaces such as lanes, pedestrian arcades, and grocery stores, I sort out a few key points:
- human scale - street as an extension of home
pedestrian arcades
- mixed land use - space publicization - neighborhood business - human touch

Workshop: Material Research Location / Taichung City , Taiwan Principal use / Space Installation Art Instructor / Cheng Tsung FENG Second Year Studio / Independent research /2018 Summer
RESEARCH TOPIC: This workshop is divided into two phases. In the first stage, each person studied a material separately. The research method has no specific provisions. Just understand the material as much as possible. Recognize various related contents of materials from their types, characteristics, uses, and processing methods. The second stage continues with the research results based on the previous stage, and use the materials studied and other materials to select a base within the specified range, and construct a space device that can provide people to rest. This space device serves as an extension of the bookstore.
90
SOIL RESEARCH The material I studied was soil. I started to understand and operate from the way the soil was built. Further understanding the characteristics of all aspects of the soil. I tried to avoid the way soil was used in the past, and looked for different construction possibilities from

DOBE OF VARIOUS NATURES I use the ability of soil to blend with other materials and harden after drying, and try to mix different types of soil with different substances. After adding water, stirring, and drying, I made a variety of soil bricks with different properties to further understand the nature of the soil and test the nature of their being changed.
93
The Research
I use three kinds of soil (yellow, red, black) to start research in different physical states(soil, mud, clod). Finally, several possible directions are summarized, including the type of soil, bamboo as a structure, the nature of the mud, and the mixing with other substances. The study based on the nature of the soil, tried to discover its potential as a different aspect of the material.
