A fast bike needs the best components. Our classic design Four Bar Linkage mountainbike uses a geometry where the frame design has no influence or liwith to the performance of the suspension. The suspension system makes it possible to have the optimum geometry. When compressing the shock the wheelbase and fork rake changes are minimal. When compressing the shock the path the rear wheel travels, when absorbing all bumps from the surface, applies hardly any stress on the frame. This enables the suspension to perform in a smooth and fluid motion, even under the high stress applied to the frame by high speed cornering. It is of the utmost importance to set up the suspension correctly for the type of riding you do in order not to lose comfort or performance. The shock is attached to the rear triangle by a swinglink, the shock attaches to the front triangle via a mount. The progressive suspension curve at the end of the stroke gives plush suspension with enough bottom out resistance even for the roughest terrain.
In 2008 the AMS family expands with the birth of the AMS HPC, a high tech carbon bike to complement the range. The carbon AMS HPC features the well renowned and unique Size Tuned Kinematics technology and offers the same efficient ride as our other Four Bar Linkage bikes. The monocoque carbon frame is made from the high quality HPC fibres by using Twin Mold Technology and offers maximal stability and quality. The cross country orientated geometry makes the bike manoeuvrable and efficient while at the same time the firm suspension makes the bike stick to the surface no matter what.
