ROCKIN’ BLOCK PARTY

Downtown is Alive at Night! Bring your dancing shoes and a chair and head to Main Street for an evening of live music featuring oldies and goldies, bluegrass, country rock, and more, music 7PM – 10PM. “Kids on Main” children’s activities for our younger downtown visitors are held prior to the party from 6:00 -7:00. Eats and treats on the street and downtown restaurants are open.

EN PLEIN AIR ARTS FESTIVAL

On the weekend of June 25-27, 2021, The Heart of Brevard in partnership with The Transylvania Community Arts Council (TCArts) will be hosting a new event in downtown Brevard: Art is in the Air En Plein Air Arts Festival.

The new event will celebrate our downtown by welcoming 25 artists to its heart to practice their craft. Each artist will be stationed throughout downtown Brevard and will be drawing or painting en plein air. At the end of the weekend, the works they create will be sold at the event’s Wet Paint Show and Sale to support Heart of Brevard and TCArts.

We will be accepting up to 25 artists on a first come first serve basis. Painting sites will be throughout the downtown district and painters will be able to choose their sites. The event will be hosted safely and with all social distancing protocols in place to ensure the health and well-being of our artists, volunteers and art loving customers.
